To put it simply, Michael Leavy was born a filmmaker. Ever since he learned what a movie was he has dreamed of making them. Fortunately, it didn't take long for that dream to become a reality. Michael began shooting his own films and taught himself how to edit at an early age and has perfected his craft ever since. From the early days of using a paper-towel roll to scroll credits, all the way through mastering Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, his passion has never left. Michael almost single-handedly ran his high school's television studio; anchoring the show each morning and creating more skits and short films than anyone else in the studio's history. Michael received his Bachelor's Degree in TV & Film from Saint John's University and also took graduate classes to further his knowledge. In 2010 Michael Leavy, along with his brother Jason Leavy and Steven Della Salla, established a production company, Fuzz on the Lens Productions. In 2014 Fuzz on the Lens' received worldwide fame with their viral 'Staten Island Clown" publicity stunt. Michael has directed/produced a comedy/fantasy entitled "Abnormal Attraction" starring Malcom McDowell, Gilbert Gottfried, Tyler Mane, Leslie Easterbrook, and academy award nominee Bruce Davison. Michael is most known for starring as 'Will the Exterminator' in the now cult classic original 'Terrifier". More recently, Michael was one of the Producers and the Assistant Director of the Top 10 Box Office success, "Terrifier 2" and is currently Directing / Producing Fuzz on the Lens Productions next horror feature, "Stream", which stars horror icons; Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, Tim Reid, Dee Wallace, Daniel Roebuck, Felissa Rose, Dave Sheridan, Mark Holton, Damian Maffei and Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/steven-cuoco/support

Valerie Jane Parker talks about her role as Lilly in the horror flick The Voices available today, Good Friday, April 2, 2021 on VOD. The first thing I think about when I hear horror movie scream queen is clearly, pastor's kid (PK) born to missionaries in Zimbabwe. Well, in the case of Valerie Jane Parker, that's exactly what we get from this PK, who's father, Pastor Ronnie Allen Meek, will be retiring after her service to the Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ this year. Parker, who is the youngest of three children and freely admits to be the, "accident baby" enjoys torturing her older siblings with pictures, clips and full scenes of horror flicks that she's either been in or rather enjoys. Leave it to the youngest in the family to torture the elder siblings when the parents have grown tired by the time they come around...or at least that's what I've witness, I'm an only child and I am beyond thankful for that. Official Synopsis of The Voices: Ashley Bell, Jordan Ladd, and Leslie Easterbrook star in this spring’s most unnerving new horror film. From Vertical Entertainment, and award-winning filmmaker Nathaniel Nuon, hear The Voices this April. After visiting her father's grave, Lilly and her mother are involved in a terrible car accident leaving Lilly orphaned and unable to see. In her youth, she struggles with her blindness and begins to hear voices. Unbeknownst to her they don't belong to the living. After years of learning to cope, Lilly is now happily married with a baby on the way. Lilly soon discovers her unborn baby has become a vessel a second chance for souls stuck in limbo to be re-born. She only has until the baby's first heartbeat to decide which soul will be re-born through her. Now the voices she heard in her youth have returned, clamoring for the chance to come back. Among the voices, she befriends the spirit of a little girl tied to a years-old cold case. Lilly finds herself in a desperate struggle with the girl's murderers and the souls vying to be born again. Valerie Jane Parker (Wrong Turn), Jenna Harvey (You Might Be The Killer), Jonathan Stoddard (The Young and the Restless), and Rezeta Veliu (Girls), star in a film directed by Nathaniel Nuon , and written by Nuon and Daniel Hathcock. We caught up with Parker, discussed why other PK's like Tom Ellis who is Lucifer on the hit series Lucifer go into not only the arts, but also horror. We even pitch a fanfic film where her and Ellis would play lapsed Christian ministers who seek redemption and it would be faith based film gold! The Voices in available on VOD today, Good Friday or all days. So, if you are the Western Christian denominations from Catholicism on down to Non-Denomination, feel free to watch the film before seeking repentance this Easter Sunday. Police Academy (1984) was both a product and ahead of its time. Film authorities Tara McNamara, Gen X, and Riley Roberts, Gen Z, examine the ensemble comedy through the modern lens to identify how it unexpectedly defies stereotypes while still falling into the same old '80s traps when it comes to objectifying women.

A reduced cast of Michael Winslow, Leslie Easterbrook, George Gaynes, David Graf and G.W. Bailey reunite with newcomer Charlie Schlatter and head to Russia for this giant mister. Even support from Christopher Lee, Claire Forlani and Ron Pearlman make little difference to this Lada of a car crash.

Brose and James join forces to chat the final Police Academy film ever made! What...? There's one more after this? Why? Brose and James join forces to chat the penultimate Police Academy film ever made; City Under Siege. Much like Assignment Miami Beach, a trimmer more streamlined cast go head to head with a mysterious villain. Bubba Smith, Marion Ramsay, Leslie Easterbrook, Michael Winslow, Matt McCoy and David Graf return to represent George Gaynes' Lassard with the contstant interference of G.W. Bailey and Lance Kinsey's Harris and Proctor! Bruce Mahler returns as Fackler (why?!?!) and Kenneth Mars pops up as the mayor! Sit back and enjoy the last watchable Police Academy film ever made!
In Part Five of Seven, Brose and James tackle a trip to Florida with Police Academy 5 Assignment Miami Beach! The one film in the series where George Gaynes gets to star, along side Matt McCoy as his nephew replacing Steve Guttengberg. A refined list of Academy graduates makes for a slicker film too; Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow, David Graf, Marion Ramsay and Leslie Easterbrook fill out Lassard's team with GW Bailey and Lance Kinsey along attesting to spoil the occasion. Rene Auberjonois is great as the villian, revelling in all the slapstick buffoonery!
As mentioned previously this film is the gold standard for Brose... will his heart be broken? Will James enjoy it? Which of the Academy Graduates return and who is left behind? Will we see Steve 'the Cute' Guttenberg, Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow, David Graf, Leslie Easterbrook, Marion Ramsay? And how, exactly, does Sharon Stone fit? Find out this week on ChatFlix!

I catch up with Leslie Easterbrook, who played Callahan in the Police Academy movies. She tells me about her experience making the original, why she wasn’t in the second one and if she has an update regarding the proposed remake. Leslie played Rhonda Lee on Laverne and Shirley. She talks about working with Penny Marshall. Leslie sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XVII. She has a great story about it.

Heading to a remote desert motel, the killers reunite with Baby's father, Capt. Spaulding (Sid Haig), who is equally demented and intent on maintaining their murder spree. This well crafted story delves into the emotional complexities of reunited friendships 12 years after the disappearance of a close friend. At the impromptu reunion, an innocent game becomes a catalyst for an unwanted journey into those dark, final moments before their friend vanished and their friendships suddenly fell apart. Find Me stands apart from most current mystery-thrillers because it quickly evokes curiosity around the lives of these flawed and very real characters all the while shocking you with some dynamic and edge of your seat cliffhangers. There are elements in this amazing film that will resonate with audiences long after it ends.
