The year was 1985, Freddy Mercury was bringing down the house at Wembley, Rocky Balboa won the Cold War by defeating Ivan Drago, and the Nintendo Entertainment System was release in the United States. It took the country by storm on the overall clad back of an Italian plumber named Mario. Nintendo ruled the home video game market until 1989 when a new player joined the game. The Sega Genesis' step onto the scene wasn't a home run right away. Sega decided to bring in a legend of the toy industry, a man named Tom Kalinske. This guy had his hands all over your childhood (not in the bad way) . Flintstone Vitamins? He created them. Barbie? He's the reason she's around today. Matchbox Cars? Who amongst us hasn't smashed one with a hammer when they no longer rolled properly. Tom and his team decided the only way to fight Nintendo's death grip on the market was to appeal to an older more mature and rebellious audience, teenagers. Degens Andy S and Brandon Bombay fly out to Siberia to get some solitude so they can talk 'Rocky IV.' Bombay opens Round 1 by telling a story about a friend who started a fight he couldn't win, much like Apollo Creed. Then the fellas go back to grassroots training so they are prepared to talk about this peak '80s movie that starts off as the worst movie ever, padded with clips and story beats from previous entries in the franchise, but by the last 20 minutes it morphs into possibly the most important film in the history of American cinema. The guys try to make sense of what Paulie was doing in this movie, as he contributed both nothing to the training or the comedic elements. Even though they've each seen this countless times growing up, both of the hosts are shocked at just how many montages there are when you actively pay attention to his befuddling movie — that somehow wins you over. Similar to Ivan Drago, Sylvester Stallone decided to take the "I must break you" approach and bludgeon viewers with tedious montage after montage. Anyway, cue up "Living in America" and get the episode started.

This one brought back Ivan Drago along with his son to face Adonis Creed but Rocky isn't having any of it.
