This week we cover Sheri Papini: The Perfect Wife, White Lotus, house of the Dragon, The Bikeriders, Trigger Warning, and Cirque du Soleil's Ovo. It's just Kevin and Lauren this week and Kevin kicks it of by being our Dateline dream girl, watching the new Hulu documentary, Sheri Papini: The Perfect Wife. It's an absolutely insane take of the disappearance and reappearance of Sheri Papini back in 2016. It's a real life Gone Girl story and it's a wild ride. After that bit of insanity, Lauren takes us on vacation with White Lotus on HBO. She binged both seasons this last week and was completely transfixed. Kevin has already seen it so it's a good back and forth discussion. Next up, Kevin gives a very brief review of the first episode of the new season of House of the Dragon. It's an admittedly light review, but the episode was pretty light until the completely crazy ending which really turned it around. Lauren gets back on the road (I guess I am very pun-y today) with The Bikeriders. The film is loosely based on true events of a motorcycle club coming into it's own in the '60s. From everything Lauren says, it sounds very similar to the FX hit, Sons of Anarchy. The show takes a turn towards the terrible with Kevin's review of Trigger Warning on Netflix. It stars Jessica Alba and that's where any positivity comes to an end. It's arguably one of the most boring action films ever made and not worth your time, so... you're welcome? The show closes with Lauren getting back on track with the Cirque du Soleil show Ovo. It sounds like an absolutely wonderful show that is a total feast for the eyes. The mayor of Miami has an ambitious goal—to reach a “functional zero” homeless population within his bustling city. “We reached functional zero veteran homeless, and I realized … that we could, we should, take it a step further and get to a functional zero,” says Mayor Francis Suarez, a Republican who leads Florida's second-biggest city.Miami is partnering with several organizations—including Hermanos de la Calle, Lotus House, and Camillus House—to meet the varied needs of the homeless and create a model that other cities could duplicate to tackle their own homelessness crises. But Suarez says addressing homelessness extends beyond meeting the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the homeless—cities must also create an economic environment that allows all citizens to thrive. If city leaders want to effectively address homelessness, Suarez argues, they also must consider a “broader macroeconomic reality” that plays a role in creating or alleviating the problem. To this end, the mayor says Miami's government has followed three rules: “We've kept taxes low; we've kept people safe; and we've leaned into innovation.” Suarez joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to explain how Miami is advancing toward a “functional zero” homeless population and to share the exciting results of a recent event toward reaching that goal. The soul is fine, it's the human that is suffering. With her first spiritual experience as a young girl, Mary Clare knew she was a little different. While there was support from her “hippie' family, general society was not so embracing.  To cope with expectations she built an outward personality to fit in. Eventually this masking led to self-destructive behaviors. An official diagnosis of bipolar-disorder, as well as the anchors of faith and yoga were critical to her evolution.In 2010 she opened Lotus House of Yoga in Omaha, NE where she shares these gifts and tools with others so they, too, can work their way to a full and joy filled life. He is a veteran police officer, with over 20 years of law enforcement experience, including 8 in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside… The largest open air drug market on the planet, the most hardened drug addicts per capita in the entire world.
