Am 13. Januar 2025 lasen Teilnehmende der Schreibwerkstatt „Lebendig schreiben“ kurze Texte, die im Verlauf des Jahres 2024 entstanden sind. Der Pianist Uli Birringer leistete am Klavier musikalisch Gesellschaft.   In den Texten erinnerten sich die Schreibenden an besondere Ereignisse, mal in Geschichtenform, mal reflektierend oder in Form eines Gedichts. Die Texte sind so vielfältig wie die, die vorlasen. Die Themen drehten sich zum Beispiel um das Leben in der Nachbarschaft, um Farben, Bewegung oder auch Veränderung.Katja Frechen möchte es in den Kursen den Teilnehmenden erleichtern, ihre Ideen aufs Papier zu bekommen und klar, lebendig und wirkungsvoll zu schreiben. Sie ist erfahrene Werkstattleiterin für erzählendes Schreiben. Abstract: The Keap1-Nrf2 signalling to transcriptionally regulate antioxidant response element (ARE)-driven target genes has been accepted as key redox-sensitive pathway governing a vast variety of cellular stresses during healthy survival and disease development. Herein, we identified two nuanced isoforms and {beta} of Keap1, arising from its first and another in-frame translation starting codons, respectively. Those common and specific genes monitored by Keap1 and/or Keap1{beta} were unravelled by transcriptomic sequencing of indicated experimental cell lines. Amongst them, an unusual interaction of Keap1 with Smad2/3 was discovered by parsing transcriptome sequencing, protein profiling, and immunoprecipitation data. Further examinations validated that Smad2/3 enable physical interaction with Keap1, as well as its isoforms and {beta}, by both EDGETSD and DLG motifs in the linker regions between their MH1 and MH2 domains, such that the stability of Smad2/3 and its transcriptional activity are enhanced with the prolonged half-lives and signalling responsiveness from the cytoplasmic to nuclear compartments. Such activation of Smad2/3 by Keap1, Keap1 or Keap1{beta} was contributable to a competitively inhibitory effect of Nrf2. Overall, this discovery presents a novel functional bridge crossing the Keap1-Nrf2 and the TGF-{beta}1-Smad2/3 signalling pathways in healthy growth and development. Modern Horizons is de meest complexe Magicset sinds Time Spiral block. Het is Wizards' innivationproduct van 2019 en bevat 255 kaarten. Jill Heinerth is the world's top underwater cave explorer. More people have walked on the moon than have ventured to some of the places she has dived. Originally from Canada, and now living in Florida in the US, Jill has broken records mapping whole water courses underground, and once had a narrow escape from cave-diving in an Antarctic iceberg. She takes photographs and video whilst underground, and says that she would never attempt a dangerous dive just for the thrill of it - there has to be a new discovery to pursue. Elen Feuerriegel is a PhD student from Australia who was catapulted into one of the most exciting scientific discoveries of our time, when her caving experience and slim build led to her joining the Rising Star Expedition. This all-women team excavated over a thousand fossils from a deep cave system in South Africa, which at its narrowest point measures just 18 cm.
