As a Salem, Massachusetts, native, WICH-TV field reporter and amateur sleuth Lee Barrett is well versed in the region's lore. So when the murder of revered local professor Samuel Bond resembles a killing from almost two centuries ago, everyone is on edge. Especially assistant professor Cody McGinnis . . . Not only did Cody have differences with Bond, he even taught a course on the historic murder. And when his fingerprints and ladder are found at the crime scene, the police are certain of his guilt. Cody's family, however, believes otherwise and asks Lee for assistance. Now, with the help of her clairvoyant cat, O'Ryan, her tech-savvy librarian aunt and housemate Ibby, and Pete Mondello, her handsome detective beau, Lee will delve deeper than ever into Salem's past—and into her own psychic gifts—to find the real killer—before someone else is history . . .Theme Music by T. Marie Vandelly Published July 23rd 2019 by Dutton BooksFor the lucky among us, life is what you make of it, but for Dixie Wheeler, the theme music for her story was chosen by another long ago, on the day her father butchered her mother and brothers and then slashed a knife across his own throat. Only one-year-old Dixie was left alive, infamously known as Baby Blue for the song left playing in the aftermath of the slaughter.Twenty-five years later, Dixie is still desperate for a connection to the family she can't remember, so when her childhood home goes up for sale, Dixie sets aside all reason and moves in, re-creating a macabre decor with her family's salvaged furniture. But as the ghosts of her family seemingly begin to take up residence in the home that was once theirs, Dixie starts to question her own sanity and wonders if the evil force menacing her is that of her father, or a demon of her own making. In order to make sense of her present, Dixie becomes determined to unravel the truth of her past and seeks out the detective who originally investigated the murders. But the more she learns, the more she opens up the uncomfortable possibility that the sins of her father may belong to another, and, perhaps most tragically, to Dixie herself. As bodies begin to pile up around her, Dixie must find a way to expose the lunacy behind her family's massacre and redeem what little remains of her soul.

In Episode #2, we heard Erin discuss the challenges of teaching ballet through the zoom platform. In this episode, O'Ryan will share with us what he sees as some of the benefits of teaching performance art through zoom. I have learned so much through listening to colleagues of all stripes as they explain their teaching methods and challenges. O'Ryan brings me back to the original reason that I was drawn to the classroom - that feeling of mutual vulnerability and collaboration. Have you ever thought about why a clown might include deprecating tricks in their repertoire? Stay tuned to hear O'Ryan explain this and more.

THE NatsGM Show returns and we proudly welcome Ring of Honor Superstar TK O'Ryan to the Podcast. A present co-holder of the ROH World 6-Man Championships, TK chats with us ahead of his title defense Friday in Baltimore at Best In The World Live on HonorClub. TK discusses how he got into wrestling, arriving in Ring of Honor and his catastrophic leg injury last spring. Next he talks about his return from injury and his friendships with Kingdom members Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia. Then TK chats about his collegiate baseball career, why more baseball players don't get into wrestling and I read him my scouting report on him from the Cape Cod League. Finally he plays a game of "Rapid Fire" and settles the debate over who has better hair, himself or Mr. Taven. Thanks to TK for joining the show and Ring of Honor for allowing me to interview one of their superstars.
