Support the show: https://krant.nlSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On the 8th August, Bournemouth's assistant manager Jason Tindall was appointed as full time successor to Eddie Howe, and so began life in the hotseat as the man charged with the responsibility of returning the cherries to the top flight at the first attempt. He talks candidly with Clem about the progress so far, and how he's adapting to being the man in sole charge of a club with great expectations. At the other end of the championship, Derby County sit rooted to the foot of the table without a win in their last 5 attempts, which resulted unsurprisingly in the club parting company with under pressure boss Phillip Cocu last weekend. Club captain Curtis Davies talks honestly and openly about the mood inside the dressing room in what has been a very difficult week for all involved.
Jason and Cory discuss the departure of Phillip Cocu from Derby and give their opinions on who is next in the DCFC hot seat and why this appointment is crucial. Then we sit down with Jamie from The Rams Heritage Trust to discuss the Remembering Reg campaign and it’s success. Then we speak with Paul, the Exiled Robin, to preview Derby’s upcoming game against Bristol City. We discuss Chris Martin, Jamie Paterson and the positive COVID-19 cases at Aston Gate. So it turns out that making footballers travel the globe to play international football during a pandemic causes problems. Who could have foreseen that? Covid-19 cases are on the rise and knackered players are getting injured. All in all, it's not been a good week for Premier League managers waiting at home to find out who from their squads is still standing. On the pitch, Scotland secured qualification for next summer's Euros via a penalty shootout. We reflect on their big night in Serbia and the ensuing celebrations. Elsewhere, Northern Ireland lost their playoff and Ireland kept up a miserable run with defeats to England and Wales. The joy was short-lived for Gareth Southgate whose side then lost to Belgium despite having Jack 'Messiah' Grealish in the team.We end part one chatting Wayne Rooney's coaching credentials - he's temporarily taken over from Phillip Cocu at Derby - and we check in on Wrexham now that their takeover by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynold's and Rob McElhenney has been approved. After the break, we head to Augusta to discuss Dustin Johnson's success, the weird trophy he was awarded and Tiger Woods' one-hole meltdown. We stay Stateside for a quick preview of the NBA draft, then have a chuckle at Amazon's customer service team as they fluff their lines trying to show some rugby. Finally, how much Lewis Hamilton success is too much and should we care whether he gets a knighthood or not? As more dodgy officiating denies Derby victory over Forest (sound familiar…?), Chris, Richard and Anton dissect an East Midlands Derby which saw the Rams finally bag at the City Ground after three long years, along with a freekick peach, a legitimate winner ruled out and plenty of positives which will likely ease the pressure on Phillip Cocu (for now). Can Derby use the 1-1 draw at the Forest to turn a corner and kickstart their season?
