De spelersmakelaar schoof dit keer aan bij Frank van den Wall Bake en Robert Denneman. Waar hij in 1978 de allereerste spelersmakelaar werd met een UEFA-licentie, groeide Rob Jansen uit tot één van de grootsten van Nederland. Tot 1995 werkte hij bij de door zijn vader opgerichte spelersvakbond VVCS, waarna hij tot eind 2014 de leiding had over het bedrijf Sport-Promotion. Tijdens die periode behartigde hij onder meer de belangen van grootheden als Phillip Cocu, Dennis Bergkamp, Dirk Kuijt, Roy Makaay en Mark van Bommel. Tijdens de uitzending spraken de heren onder meer over zijn carrière als makelaar, maar ook over actuele casussen in zijn vakgebied en de ambitie om een Engelse club te kopen. In de BV Sport neemt sportmarketinggoeroe Frank van den Wall Bake ons elke tweede woensdag van de maand mee in de wereld van de geldstromen in de sport. PSV blijft winnen in de eredivisie, Ajax kruipt naar het rechterrijtje, Feyenoord heeft moeite met scoren in Waalwijk, Vitesse in de problemen en  vreugde en het verdriet rondom NEC - FC Volendam. Meer dan genoeg stof dus voor Etienne Verhoeff en Mikos Gouka om te bespreken in een nieuwe AD Voetbalpodcast. ,,Bosz heeft wel gelijk over de tegenstand in de eredivisie. Uit bij Heracles was vroeger toch wel lastiger. Stugger”, reageert Gouka op de 0-6 in Almelo. ,,Je mag toch wel verwachten van ploegen uit de eredivisie dat ze het de topclubs wat moeilijker maken.” Feyenoord won met 1-2 in Waalwijk. Net als PSV tegen tien man, maar het ging wel moeizamer. ,,Feyenoord moet dit soort wedstrijden veel sneller killen, zoals PSV dat heeft gedaan. Alleen als je op 35 goals staat na elf wedstrijden is dat helemaal niet slecht. Een bekeravond met verleningen, strafschoppen en rode kaarten. De achtste finales van de TOTO KNVB Beker hadden het allemaal woensdagavond. Feyenoord bekert door ten koste van NEC. En ondertussen rommelt het weer in de top. Verder bespreekt Etienne Verhoeff met Sjoerd Mososu het fenomeen 'trainerfluisteraar' in een nieuwe AD Voetbalpodcast. ,,De vereniging ter bevordering van de woorden kolderiek en krankzinnig kan tevreden zijn, want dit was een ouderwetse bekeravond", begint Mossou de podcast. Feyenoord kwam terug van een 0-2 achterstand tot 2-2, dacht te hebben gewonnen in de verlenging, maar strafschoppen brachten de beslissing. ,,Al moet gezegd worden, dat Feyenoord vijftig pogingen ondernam en 27 keer op doel schot. Dan zijn vier doelpunten wel wat weinig. Onze trainer zei dan altijd: donderdag werken we op afwerken. Beide trainers gaan dit duel nog wel even terugkijken, Arne Slot zeker. Vier goals tegen krijgen in de Kuip tegen NEC is natuurlijk beroerd. En voorin hebben ze net te weinig kwaliteit om het verschil te maken. Feyenoord maakt wel vier goals, maar afgemeten aan het aantal kansen is dat te weinig."In Groningen zijn de herstelwerkzaamheden begonnen. Oud-trainer Hans Westerhof is daar aangesteld als adviseur van de technische staf. ,,De trainerfluisteraar hebben we vaker gezien. Guus Hiddink bij Phillip Cocu, Dick Advocaat bij Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Dat is een lapmiddel bij clubs in de problemen en een onervaren trainer. Maroesja Lacunes, de mediagast in het eerste uur, werd 'wereldberoemd in Nederland' door haar rol als Tika in de legendarische kinderserie Tita Tovenaar. Het is dit weekend precies vijftig jaar geleden dat de eerste aflevering van Tita Tovenaar werd uitgezonden op de Nederlandse televisie. Lacunes (77) is haar hele leven 'achtervolgd' door haar rol als Tika. Dit jaar schreef ze het autobiografische boek ‘De tovenaarsdochter'. Ruud Brood, de sportgast in het tweede uur, is oud-voetballer en voetbaltrainer. Afgelopen seizoen werd hij vanwege teleurstellende resultaten ontslagen bij ADO Den Haag. Brood was in het verleden uitermate succesvol; met RKC Waalwijk en met NEC werd hij onder meer kampioen in de eerste divisie. Ook was hij  onder meer assistent-trainer van Phillip Cocu bij PSV. Brood voetbalde zelf onder meer bij FC Den Bosch en NAC Breda. In 1988 behoorde hij tot de voorselectie van Oranje voor het EK van dat jaar.

Het komt allemaal voorbij in de nieuwe AD Voetbalpodcast. Etienne Verhoeff bespreekt het met Maarten Wijffels. 'Het verbaast met niet dat Phillip Cocu instapt bij Vitesse', begint Wijffels. 'Ik sprak hem vorig jaar en toen vertelde hij dat hij tegenwoordig huisman is. Hij kwam ook aan met de bakfiets. Maar hij zou de uitdaging bij een Nederlandse middenmoter niet uit de weg gaan.'Wat voor type trainer krijgen ze in Arnhem? 'Het is een behoudende trainer. Bij PSV schroomde hij niet een vijfde verdediger in te brengen om een wedstrijd over de streep te trekken. Maar in Eindhoven hoeft het ook niet zo frivool als in Amsterdam. Cocu werd daarmee wel drie keer kampioen.' Met het oog op het WK bespreken ze ook de zorgen in Duitsland vooral Engeland over de vorm. En de verdedigers. 'Harry Maguire is de risee van het internationale voetbal geworden. Dat is geen speler waar je met vertrouwen de sleutels van de verdediging aan geeft. Verweij komt met de naam van Wim Jonk, die momenteel goed presteert bij FC Volendam. Driessen vertelt wie andere mogelijke kandidaten zijn. „Het is zeker denkbaar dat Phillip Cocu en Ruud van Nistelrooy het worden, waarbij Van Nistelrooy in eerste instantie in de luwte naar het hoofdtrainerschap kan toegroeien.''
