I’m asking because I’m surprised that no one on this podcast has mentioned the joint Canada-China military exercises, and how Trudeau and the PMO lost their shit when the last exercise was cancelled. Maybe consider having him on as a guest? He is certainly a Canadian Patriot. From: ET Re: Vaccination passport Hey guys, my MP, William Amos, was asking for feedback on the support for a vaccination passport on his book of faces. He linked this study, which I think may be of interest. Of course, it shows Ontario to be the most willing to give away its freedoms, while Québec tells the crown to fuck off. No surprises, but worth the read nonetheless. https://ppforum.ca/publications/support-for-a-canadian-vaccine-passport/ Cheers to my friend who oppose tyranny, E.T. Recorded March 2020 .... Michael Koryta, a New York Times-bestselling author of 14 novels, a novella, and multiple short stories discusses his latest novel, The Chill, written under the pen name Scott Carson. The Chill is a story of the fictional town of Galesburg in the Catskill mountains in upstate New York, and about its residents who many years before, generations before, were displaced by the government when the properties where their homes were located were taken to create a reservoir, the Chillewaukee, to meet the water needs of New York City. Their town, Galesburg, was devastated and the residents at the time have not forgotten. The story, save for the supernatural and certain of the more dramatic elements of Michael’s book, is similar to the story of the building of the Ashokan Reservoir in the Catskills, which I discussed on a podcast last year with our friend, painter and printmaker, Kate McGloughlin.

Recorded: March 3, 2020 Country music artist, Riley Green, joins Will & Taylor on The Bus the day after tornados ripped through Nashville. The Boys have been holding onto this one for a little bit, and it's a HEATER. To start it off, The Boys dig into the inspiration behind Riley's monster single, "I Wish Grandpas Never Died," and they discuss what it was like coming up in a small town in Alabama. Next up, Riley recalls his time in college gigging at bars while playing QB for Jacksonville State University. He then reveals that he was once a contestant on the reality show, Redneck Island, and how he actually won the whole deal. Later on, Riley lists a few of his favorite venues he's played, who he looks up to most in the industry, and The Boys break down a couple of his more questionable Instagram posts. A LOT of chirps throughout in this one so lock in. Great pod from start to finish. Kat, Bcom, and Leo return to talk about the 10th week of the Winter 2020 anime season. After watching Chihayafuru, Leo suggests that anime girls could just microwave chocolates for Valentine’s Day, and it’s not even that hard. The Eizouken girls channel their Studio Ghibli counterparts as they close in on finishing their final animation project. Narihisago tries to determine his true reality in the id well within an id well that he inhabits for over a year in ID: Invaded. Kat proposes the question whether you would choose to sign a piece of flesh paper from within your chest in order to get “married” like partner sorcerers in Dorohedoro have to do. Ranka has gone into heat and as you would expect, all hell breaks loose at Seton Academy. Bcom gets really upset when opposing guild members attack Syrup the turtle in the latest episode of BOFURI. Kiyoko’s backstory in Haikyuu reminds us of another track injury backstory from the anime After the Rain. The Reviewers go to Disney’s Magical Kingdom of Sex and bang happily ever after.Recorded March 31, 2020.Timestamps:3:13 - Nonsense (Leo helps his friend spy on his own family with a surveillance cam system, Kat endangers the public in order to drink some beer, Bcom finds the peak Trigger anime by finally watching Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and talks a little bit about IGN’s Retrocrush)12:34 - Bcom summarizes My Teen Romcom SNAFU for Leo since he’s lazy, and Leo pays absolutely no attention because he was still looking up Panty and Stocking character names15:58 - Chihayafuru 3 (Ep. 22)25:10 - Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! Leo, Kat, and Bcom are back to discuss the 9th week of the Winter 2020 anime season. An intense showdown between Taichi and Arata triggers Kat’s yaoi alarms. It turns out the Eizouken club is just as underpaid as real-life animators are for the extreme amount of work they do. We begin to piece together the endgame of ID: Invaded as several revelations come to light. Bcom re-watches Dorohedoro several times to make sense of the latest info-packed episode. He also bangs his head against a wall as Kat believes the breast size comparison scenes in anime are not only realistic, but that guys compare dick sizes in locker rooms on a regular basis as well. We discuss whether Maple’s guild in BOFURI could’ve utilized a better strategy in their capture-the-orb event, before we devolve into debating the fanservice in the show. Leo gets insanely triggered by Daichi’s cell-phone alarm tone being the sound of dogs barking, while Bcom otherwise enjoys some good character-building in the latest episode of Haikyu. Since we’ve inevitably come to the necrophilia portion of Interspecies Reviewers, we discuss the various downsides of the practice, whether it be smell, temperature, or general creepiness.Recorded March 24, 2020.Note: Leo’s audio had a strange issue this episode, which we couldn’t isolate in audio editing, but has been fixed going forward. Recorded March 23, 2020. Me and Michael dove into what it’s like being 24 going on 25 in this day and age. Doing our best social distancing we can — we had to get this one in while discussing our trials and tribulations while growing after college.
Bcom, Kat, and Leo are back to break down the 8th week of the Winter 2020 anime season. We admonish Arata for not practicing social distancing in the latest episode of Chihayafuru. Leo has some unique issues with Tsubame’s manta ray costume for the cultural festival, in what is otherwise one of Eizouken’s best episodes yet. If ID: Invaded wasn’t already similar enough to Inception, they find an id well within an id well this episode. Kat makes sense of the convoluted series of events leading up to the Blue Night in Dorohedoro. The Seton Academy characters have a whale of a time becoming aquatic performers. If you thought the power creep was out of control for Maple in Bofuri before this episode…you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. We might finally be done with practice matches in this season of Haikyuu. The Interspecies Reviewers hit up the Build-A-Bear workshop of brothels, and choose their own adventure.Recorded March 20, 2020.
