Not everything attributed to the Prophet ﷺ is authentic — and the responsibility of distinguishing truth from error fell upon the scholars of hadith. In this first session of the explanation of Nukhbat al-Fikr, Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble introduces the principles that underpin the science of hadith. You'll begin to see how narrations were assessed, why precision mattered, and how the early scholars approached the words of the Prophet ﷺ with both reverence and rigour. What to expect in this session: - The difference between primary and supporting Islamic sciences—and where hadith fits in - Why the Sahabah رضي الله عنهم exercised caution in narration, despite being eyewitnesses to the revelations - How scholars judged narrators and filtered weak reports from reliable ones - What makes a hadith Sahih, Hasan, or Da'if—and why these aren't casual labels - The roots of hadith verification long before books were even compiled This session lays the groundwork for a science that shaped Islamic scholarship—and preserved the Sunnah for generations to come. They say the truth is complicated — but Ahlus Sunnah carry it in just a few lines. In a time where creed is debated, diluted, and reshaped by opinions, desires, and philosophy, there is a need to return to where clarity begins: the preserved, untainted Aqeedah of the Salaf. In this lecture, Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble explains Al-Ha'iyyah by Ibn Abi Dawud — a 33-line poem that lays out the core beliefs every Muslim must hold. What do we affirm — and what do we reject — about Allah's Names and Attributes? What are the four levels of Qadr that every Muslim must understand? Why is reviling the Sahabah رضي الله عنهم not just deviation — but a threat to the religion itself? How do innovations (Bid'ah) lead people away from the path of truth? From the uncreated speech of Allah to the status of the companions... From the limits of intellect to the binding force of Ijma'... This is where the line is drawn — and where the truth stands firm. Have we ever questioned what truly defines us? Is it our lineage, our status, or something far deeper? The story of Julaibib (RA), a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), challenges every preconceived notion of worth and significance. As the pressures of modern society push us to compromise our values, will we stand firm like Julaibib (RA), or falter under the weight of worldly expectations? Listen, reflect, and ask yourself: where do I stand?

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a White has no superiority over a Black nor a Black has any superiority over a White except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly." The Sahabah, may Allah be pleased with them, came from different backgrounds; some from Abyssinia, Rome, some from Persia. The tie of "asabiyyah," sometimes translated as group feeling or tribal affiliation, was superseded by the bond of Islam, which superseded all other loyalties. They stood beside one another regardless of ethnicity or class out of their love for Allah and his Rasul ?. It's often said that the merit of a civilization is shown by how it treats those with the least influence. This week, we will be looking at how Islam addresses the issue discrimination within society, whether its causes stem from wealth inequality, racial intolerance, or other divisive factors. InshaAllah, we invite Dr. Abu Talha to Islamic Oasis LIVE to discuss this topic. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G_D6aO1r2k

In this deeply moving sermon, Sheikh Muiz Bukhary explores the profound love for the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as an essential component of our faith. The sermon is enriched with two poignant stories that vividly demonstrate the profound love the Sahabah held for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). These narratives not only embody the spirit of their commitment but also serve as timeless lessons for us today, urging us to weave this deep love into the fabric of our daily lives. Join Sheikh Muiz as he guides us through these inspiring tales and teachings, helping us to connect more intimately with our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) and to strive for a more complete Emān.

At-Takwīr (Arabic: التكوير, literally "The Turning Into a Sphere") is the eighty-first chapter (sura) of the Qur'an, with 29 verses (ayat). It tells about signs of the coming of the day of judgement. Some of these signs include the following: (a) When the sun is covered in darkness (solar eclipse), (b) When the stars fall, (c) And when the mountains vanish (blown away), (d) When the camels big with young are abandoned. (e) And when the wild beasts are herded together (f) And when the seas rise, (g) And when the souls are sorted, (h) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked, (i) For what crime she was killed? (j) And when the books [records of deeds] are open, (k) And when the sky is torn away, (l) And when Hell is set ablaze, (m) And when Paradise draws near, (n) Then every Soul shall know what it has done. THE REASON WHY ABU BAKR WAS BETTER THAN MOST SAHABAH
Our mother was known for how beloved she was to the Prophet ﷺ which made her an easy target of the hypocrites. In her defense, Allah revealed verses of the Quran in the wake of the great slander known as hadithatul ifk. And in her lap, the Messenger ﷺ would breathe his last breath. The Firsts is a weekly video series that chronicles the lives of the Sahabah during and after the time of the Prophet ﷺ.

Why The Sahabah Ruled The World
“Whoever among you wishes to follow (someone), let him follow one who has died, for the one who is still alive is not safe from fitnah. The companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were the best of this ummah, the most righteous of heart and the deepest in knowledge and the most straightforward, people whom Allaah chose to accompany His Prophet and establish His religion. So acknowledge their virtue and follow in their footsteps, and adhere as much as you can to their morals and religion, for they were following right guidance. ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) Narrated by Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr in al-Jaami', no. 1810.
