In 2025, the HR landscape is already transforming–quickly. With AI moving from hype to reality, workforce cultures evolving, and organizations pausing to get their data and systems in order, leaders face both big opportunities and bigger decisions. To truly make sense of it all, we sat down with Stacey Harris, Chief Research Officer at Sapient Insights Group, whose decades of experience as both a practitioner and industry analyst give her a grounded, data-backed perspective on what HR teams need to focus on right now. From the rise of personalization and the cultural barriers blocking internal mobility to the critical role of managers and why workforce planning is finally having its moment, Stacey gave us a clear-eyed view of where HR is heading—and what's holding it back. She challenged us to think differently about what “engagement” truly means, the limitations of current AI applications, and why a company's culture—not its tech—might be the biggest obstacle to success in 2025.If you're ready to make sense of this rapidly changing landscape and get practical advice on how to navigate the year ahead, Stacey's insights are the perfect guide. You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in...Intro [0:00]Meeting Stacey Harris [4:26]2025 Trends in HR Tech [7:08]AI in HR: Hype vs. Reality [9:06]The Data Problem and Internal Mobility Challenges [12:47]Managers as Barriers and the Role of AI [18:00]Rethinking Engagement and Personalization [23:54]Workforce Planning's Evolution [38:20]Final Thoughts and Why Stacey Does the Work She Does [42:00]Resources & People MentionedSapient Insights Group – Sapient Insights Group WebsiteSierra-Cedar HR Systems Survey LightcastConnect with Stacey HarrisConnect on LinkedInConnect With Red Thread ResearchWebsite: Red Thread ResearchOn LinkedInOn FacebookOn TwitterSubscribe to WORKPLACE STORIES

On the last episode of the podcast, I shared with listeners that I made the big decision to shut down The Bold Profit Academy. Today, I'm back with Stacey Harris to talk about what I have started to do since making that decision. By sharing my story and my process, I hope it helps anyone listening who might be facing a big decision about their business, even if they aren't currently offering a group program. Transparency is good, and this podcast is for people who want to run a business to provide for their family, not someone who is looking to glorify small business ownership. When I made the decision to close down The Bold Profit Academy program after five years of success and revenue, it was panic-inducing, but we are all about the safest ways to take risks. This episode will cover two things: a framework I relied on while going through this process and some tangible steps I took. Steps are much different than a plan because there are too many variables to call it a plan.Get your Revenue Goal Calculator - https://theboldleadershiprevolution.com/revenue-goal-calculator

I am going a little Maverick on us. Every so often I get a wild hair idea something that I want to talk about, I just flip on the mic, and I go for it. Then my wing woman, Stacey Harris from Uncommonly More has to figure out where she's going to fit this into the content blocks and figure out how she's going to restructure our content plan. Like they say in Top Gun, “I am writing checks. My body can't cash right now.” We are going to go a little Maverick and we're going to have a good time doing it because I'm noticing a challenge that some of you are having around investing in yourselves, investing in your businesses, investing in your future financial security, and you don't trust yourself to make wise decisions and you are sitting on the sidelines waiting to see when is the perfect time, the perfect investment, the perfect amount of money is waiting in your bank account. I'm just going to let you know that is not how this works. It doesn't happen that way. I know that a lot of you have also had really poor experiences investing in something that didn't really pan out and I'm going to flip the script, and instead of my usual letting you off the hook, because the online business space is just so bananas, I'm going to come in here and share with you where I think you can be taking responsibility for investing in your business and actually giving yourself the momentum and moving forward in a direction that feels good and aligned to you. Social Slowdown: sustainable digital marketing for entrepreneurs
Today I'm here with Stacey Harris of Uncommonly More, a podcast production agency that helps service-based businesses to use their podcast as a platform to generate leads and build a bigger impact and a larger audience.Stacey has recorded 500 episodes of her own podcast, where she gives advice on how to give value to your audience and to educate them on what you're trying to sell so you can shorten your sales cycle.Because of her backlog of episodes, Stacey is able to convert a lot of new people to her podcast production agency without really relying on social media - and that's what we'll be talking about today. This episode is all about how you can use your podcast - and your voice - to promote your business and get the RIGHT people to find you. This episode is NOT about monetizing your podcast or using sponsorships to grow your business - it's meant for those of you who maybe are thinking of starting a podcast or those of you who already have one but it's not generating the leads you want. And this is all possible even with a small audience. For the full show notes and transcript, visit https://www.socialslowdown.com/podcasts-for-lead-generation-stacey-harris/
