We got curious to see what Andy Baldwin, one of Richard Allen's defense attorneys, is like in court so we decided to attend the opening days of the most recent murder trial he worked on. In this case, the state is represented by Brown County, Indiana prosecutor Ted Adams- who used to work with Baldwin in criminal defense. Baldwin represents Randy Small, a man accused of murdering a neighbor in a property dispute. Small maintains he acted in self defense. As the trial concludes Adams, deputy prosecutor Rob Seet, Baldwin, and Criminal Defense Team attorney Kelly Pyle handle the final witnesses, deliver closing arguments, and await the verdict.Send tips to murdersheet@gmail.com.The Murder Sheet is a production of Mystery Sheet LLC .See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In Indiana's Brown County, Randy Small is on trial for the murder of Bob Adair. The state says it's a case of brutal, cold-blooded murder. The defense argues that Small was acting in self-defense. The decision will come down to Small's peers sitting on the jury. In this episode, we will discuss observing county prosecutor Ted Adams and defense attorney Andy Baldwin make opening statements in the case.Send tips to murdersheet@gmail.com.The Murder Sheet is a production of Mystery Sheet LLC .See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this second part of our discussion with Ted Adams, Kim and Fulyana explore how leaders can manage themselves as well as choose the “right” people for their teams.
Do you know your purpose, personally and as a leader? What is your leadership “overflow”? This week Kim and Fulyana begin a two part discussion with Ted Adams looking at purpose, gratitude and leadership from a viewpoint that we have not really explored in all our podcasts to date.

The bubbly, popular senior had mysteriously gone missing from her bedroom after a night out of celebrating with friends. The next day she was found dead in a field. While prosecutor Ted Adams worked to get justice for Hannah Wilson, defense lawyer Dorie Maryan found herself defending a man whose crimes were much greater than killing Hannah Wilson.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

“We Empower Kids to Outsmart Poverty” is such an empowering and motivational statement. In fact, it's the mission statement of Traveling Stories, a San Diego, CA non-profit organization. They believe that books are a necessity, not a luxury, that the ability to read and write is a human right and there is more than one kind of poverty and more than one kind of hunger. While it's important to feed a child's stomach, you mustn't forget about their mind and imagination. Through their mobile StoryTent program, which has successfully served over 3,000 local San Diego kids a year, they teach kids money management skills and help them fall in love with reading by the 4th grade. We are honored to have the Founder and CEO of Traveling Stories, Emily Moberly on episode 43 of the Hall H Show podcast! Here’s a brief rundown: MSU’s Comic & Visual Narrative class; the end of DC’s First Wave line leads into Dal’s ultimate super-hero publishing plans; Marvel’s ‘new’ direction for the Marvel Adventures line; more on Ted Adams' Keynote Address from the 2011 ComicsPRO Conference; our secret shopper grade, and less… because we lost our first 5 or so minutes, including Patrick’s first-ever attempt at a disclaimer. Dal says it all (at 24 minutes and 9 seconds in), “God, this one’s gonna be a winner.”
