#48 Aaron D'Souza | Business Lessons From A Dating Coach

Publishing For Profit By Ghostwriters & Co

Play Episode Listen Later Mar 26, 2021 75:16

In this episode, I interview Aaron D'Souza, a Dating Coach about skills you need to find a successful date and how they actually can be transferred and applied to business. Some of the topics we cover include the importance of being a lifelong learner, how to handle rejection, how to have a mindset that will help you achieve your goals, and how to find out what you really want.  Aaron D'Souza is an entrepreneur who specializes in helping women who are single create the dating and relationships life that they want. His journey towards becoming a dating coach for women started in his mid-twenties when he read a few blog posts by Steve Pavlina about nonmonogamous relationships and thought "Is long-term monogamy the BEST way to structure my long-term romantic relationships? What if there are better alternatives (for long term fulfillment and happiness) given the fact that so many long-term monogamous relationships end before they're expected to, and in the many that continue, partners don't seem very happy. Long-term, happy, fulfilling, and dynamic monogamous relationships seem to be the exception and not the rule. Surely there must be a better way." This search led him to explore the dating, sex, romance, and relationships world in unconventional ways, (being rejected most of the time as you can imagine) and wondering if he'd ever come up with a solution. It was only after working with dating coach Alan Roger Currie since 2017 did he find his unique solution that resulted in finding better matches much faster, dealing with rejection more confidently, and feeling good about his path. In August 2018, at 31 years old, he finally found his perfect match for that part of his life until they amicably broke up in April 2019 due to different lifestyle priorities. His focus is to help women develop a sense of inner confidence and a set of tools unique to them so that they can create the relationship type that they want, however conventional or unconventional, at any point in their lives, long after they've worked with him. Aaron is also a public speaker, mastermind group facilitator, and coach for career transitions and public speaking. On October 20, 2019, he delivered a talk titled "Monogamy or polyamory – which is more wise, natural and honest?" at the Vancouver Convention Centre. D'Souza offers one-on-one coaching to his female clients. If you'd like to transform your dating and relationships, please send him a private message letting him know. Health care workers, patients, staff and visitors are getting a break on parking starting April the 1st. BC's Minister of Health says parking will be free at all hospitals and health authority-owned and operated sites. Dix says no deductions will be taken off those who have signed up for monthly payment plans. The Minister is trying to calm fears of a shortage of personal protective equipment for health care workers. Dix acknowledges there are challenges world-wide in getting equipment, but BC is not facing shortages. He says BC suppliers have not been able to deliver as much as what the province has been ordering. However, he says shipments are arriving regularly, pointing out that one million surgical masks were delivered to the province yesterday. The Provincial Health Officer says a lot of innovative people in the private sector are working with the Health Ministry to develop items like visors, made from 3-D printers. The Vancouver Island Free Daily is reporting a group called "Project Draw Breath" is using a 3-D printer, to create valves that would allow up to four patients to use one ventilator. The report says the team is developing clinical tests with Island Health at the Cowichan District Hospital.New COVID-19 cases reported yesterday show 86 more British Columbians were infected since Saturday, with seven new cases on Vancouver Island. The total number of cases in the Island Health district is 67. The total for the province is 970. the Provincial Health Officer says there have been two COVID-19 deaths on the lower mainland since Saturday. Dr. Bonnie Henry says the good news is 469 people who were infected have now recovered including 70 people who were in intensive and critical care units. The province has named 19 hospitals in BC that have been designated Primary COVID-19 care sites. On Vancouver Island, they are the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria and the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. The Vic General Hospital has been named a secondary site. Health Authorities are also designating what are being called "off-site treatment centres" for less acute in-patient care. The Vancouver Convention Centre and the new tower at the Royal Columbian Hospital in Burnaby will provide 350 additional beds if needed. Island Health has not announced where its off-site locations will be.Written and reported by Lisa Cordasco. Senior Reporter and News Director for CHLY 101.7FM.Have a tip? New Helicopter Flight Models from Hovercontrol Helicopter Total Realism ver. 1.0 - HTR is a physics library that replaces FSX helicopter physics. You can create your own configuration files for your favorite helicopters. Helicopter Total Realism (HTR) is a program that overrides FSX FS9 flight model with a more realistic model. All the helicopter reactions are calculated using formulas taken from different aerodynamic books. Every helicopter can be configured using a .cfg file similar to the aircraft.cfg but with custom parameters used by the application to model the physics profile. I have included a full manual with samples on how to create your own configurations. Data is passed to and from FS using FSUIPC, so it works on FSX and FS9. Original Story... I've been simming since the days of FS98 but generally I've always been running behind in terms of hardware - low budget and lack of research on my part to blame. This time I've commited to get a decent spec geared entirely around FSX, but it will also run other applications as it will be a main computer. My current Core 2 Duo at 2.4Ghz and 2gb ram fails miserably and even at base settings with sparse terrain I get un-flyable frame rates. So what is the best way to tackle this? Perhaps I could fire a few questions at you guys?   1. Core i7 or Quad (Q9650 e.g)? 2. Does FSX benefit from the "8" cores of the i7? 3. I don't want to overclock as I don't know how so what speed should I look for? 4. What RAM? I intend to run Windows 7 64 bit, does this benefit FSX? If not which OS? 5. Which graphics card? I read somewhere that nVidia seem to work best. 6. I know little to nothing about motherboards. Do they actually make a difference in terms of visual performance if all other elements are kept the same? Incidentally, I learned to fly (back in '92) before I owned a PC but since since FS9 and latterly FSX I'm amazed at the levels of realism being replicated. Thanks guys, much obliged. Regards, Dan St. Barts Landing with Fly Tampa scenery Hey Guy's, I just wanted to share with you my first attemt at making a video. I've been putting this off a long time always afraid it would just be to hard and require a lot of expensive equipment. But I discovered it's really not that hard. I downloaded the free version of Frapps, and used the built in Windows Live Moviemaker. Since this was a Carribean setting, I chose what I thought was a catchey tune for the background. And was pretty amazed how it turned out. Mabe you can urge some of your viewers / listeners who are putting it off to give it a try. I have attached a link to my video. Thanks and keep up the great work. Phil Raulston ( BigDBlue ) http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=100935443275639&ref=nf
