Send us a textIn today's episode in Hebrews 10 we have some hard and difficult passages that come with a warning. Delphi Case Twist: Did Prosecutors “Willfully Ignore” Evidence That Could Clear Richard Allen? What happens when investigators get so locked into a theory that they ignore everything else? The case against Richard Allen in the Delphi murders might be the perfect example of investigative tunnel vision gone horribly wrong. His defense claims key evidence that could point to other suspects was withheld—intentionally or otherwise. Is this incompetence, a small-town prosecutor playing by his own rules, or something more insidious? FBI behavioral expert Robin Dreeke joins Tony Brueski to break down the psychology behind bias in investigations, the power of external pressures, and the red flags surrounding the prosecution's handling of this case. With crucial evidence conveniently “misplaced” and shifting stories from those in charge, it's hard not to wonder: Is this just a case of bad policing, or has justice been deliberately derailed? And what about the newly released full-length bridge guy video? Does it actually reveal anything new, or is it just more smoke and mirrors? If the suspect was a complete stranger, why did the victims seem to comply instead of running? Could they have recognized their killer? With so many pieces missing, one question lingers: If Richard Allen isn't the guy, why does the prosecution seem so afraid of looking anywhere else? #TrueCrime #DelphiMurders #RichardAllen #HiddenKillers #CriminalInvestigation #BehavioralAnalysis #JusticeOrInjustice Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Here's the AI generated discussion of this post. I discovered a lot about AI in listening to this discussion. Reflecting back on this article, I realize at least what we are currently seeing in AI is often Stupid. They assemble words, based on tokens, on something of which they know nothing about. And it doesn't recognize it is Stupid. And we sometimes miss this, the responses we get "sound smart," but they are actually Stupid, stumbling on truth accidentally. There is so much wrong in this discussion, but it actually vividly illustrates much of what I am trying to discuss in this article. The one redeeming thing is, at least for the present, these tools have no reasoning capability. So it cannot be Willfully Ignorant. If only for the irony and subtle comedy, enjoy this discussion. Sexual assault fits this pattern. Thus, across the disparate populations studied, researchers consistently have found that approximately one-half of all sexual assaults are committed by men who have been drinking alcohol. Depending on the sample studied and the measures used, the estimates for alcohol use among perpetrators have ranged from 34 to 74 percent (Abbey et al. 1994; Crowell and Burgess 1996). Similarly, approximately one-half of all sexual assault victims report that they were drinking alcohol at the time of the assault, with estimates ranging from 30 to 79 percent (Abbey et al. 1994; Crowell and Burgess 1996). It is important to emphasize, however, that although a woman's alcohol consumption may place her at increased risk of sexual assault, she is in no way responsible for the assault. The perpetrators are legally and morally responsible for their behavior.https://mol.im/a/14327087Florida principal arrested after more than 100 kids are found drinking at her homehttps://mol.im/a/14326909Revealed: Beloved rock climber's tragic final post before she fell off steep Nevada cliff to her deathhttps://mol.im/a/14215165The dangerous new trend that's claiming the lives of youngsters: 'It's like Russian roulette'https://mol.im/a/14326985Tragedy as Ohio woman freezes to death while taking her dog outsidehttps://mol.im/a/14294031Former Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels SLAMS Ozempic: 'Try anything else'https://mol.im/a/14318535NASA ends DEI programs that 'wasted taxpayers dollars and resulted in shameful discrimination'https://mol.im/a/14312163Nuclear fusion breakthrough: China's 'artificial sun' reactor sets a new world record by generating a steady loop of plasma for 1,066 seconds - taking the world closer towards limitless clean energyCredit to:https://unsplash.com/@grianghraf for cuffs

Many people are walking around with eyes to see, but they're blind of freewill. They're blind because they want what they want and who they want. Most people don't care about the drama they have to endure, they want what and who they want. Unfortunately this mindset leads many into bad situations and unhealthy relationships. This is a clear sign of a person with an unhealed heart and mind. You're responsible for what and who you allow into your life. People treat you how you let them. Most people are in denial about their relationships and their lives in general. People go through life subjecting themselves to unnecessary pain and drama and it's the very reason why most people are unhappy.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/relationship-chronicles--4126439/support.

In this compelling episode of "Hidden Killers," host Tony Brueski teams up with retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer to unravel a chilling tale of negligence, systemic failure, and a deeply flawed criminal justice system. The focus of their discussion is the tragic case of a young girl placed in harm's way by the very individuals supposed to protect her, leading to fatal consequences. The case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by individuals with a history of sexual offenses and the critical gaps within our legal framework that allow such predators to evade detection. The episode delves into the perplexing decision-making process of the girl's guardians, who, driven by a misguided sense of redemption, welcomed a known danger into their lives. Brueski and Coffindaffer explore the complex motives behind this decision, questioning whether it was a simple case of naive faith in rehabilitation or if darker, more self-serving interests were at play. The narrative unfolds to reveal a scenario where good intentions are tragically misaligned with the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Coffindaffer provides expert insight into the criminal mind, emphasizing the recurring nature of sexual offenders' behaviors and the inadequacies of a system that allows for significant loopholes. One such loophole, a critical point of discussion, is the failure of the sex offender registry to capture individuals who have committed sexual offenses but have not been convicted of the specific acts that would ensure their inclusion on the registry. This gap in the law not only facilitates the reintegration of predators into unsuspecting communities but also emboldens them with a sense of impunity. Further, the episode critiques the judicial system's propensity for plea bargaining, which often results in reduced charges and sentences for serious crimes. This practice is highlighted as a fundamental flaw that undermines the protection of the public, especially children, from sexual predators. Coffindaffer argues for a reevaluation of the judicial process, advocating for stringent, non-negotiable penalties for sexual offenses to prevent recidivism and ensure community safety. "Hidden Killers" does not shy away from the uncomfortable truths of our criminal justice system, pushing for accountability at all levels, from the judiciary to the guardians of at-risk children. The episode calls for a systemic overhaul, emphasizing the need for reforms that prioritize the safety of the most vulnerable over the rehabilitation of those who have demonstrated a capacity for heinous acts. Through this thought-provoking discussion, Brueski and Coffindaffer not only shed light on a singular tragedy but also challenge listeners to reconsider the balance between forgiveness and safety in the context of sexual offenses. James Glenn joins us this week in another installment of our Extraordinary to Ordinary series. James is a long time friend of the show. In fact, he recorded one of the very first (unreleased) episodes of the Be Unbound podcast! James is in many ways, a larger than life figure in terms of his physical fitness, his abilities, the challenges he takes on, and the life experience that he has. But James is also one of the most others focused people out there, which is a unique combination. Even with his magnetic personality, almost everything he does is at some level aimed at helping, understanding, or focusing on somebody else. In this episode, we invite Professor Robert Deitz back to the show to discuss the Biden classified documents case, examining the legal boundaries and ethical considerations of handling classified information. When we last spoke with Professor Deitz, it was right after former President Donald Trump had the FBI search his Mar-a-Lago residence for classified documents. The conversation contrasts this case with Trump's, exploring differences in legal ramifications and public perception. We delve into broader issues of national security, accountability, and the implications for political figures. The conversation further explores the challenges of maintaining transparency and accountability in handling classified information, particularly for high-profile political figures. You likely won't find better insight into this topic than from a person who knows the area of classified documents better than most. We have an upcoming documentary about Christian Nationalism We're thrilled to announce an upcoming special audio narrative documentary of Faithful Politics that's been in the works for quite some time – titled "Heavenly Homeland." This groundbreaking project delves into the intricate world of Christian nationalism, exploring its historical roots, contemporary impact, and the nuanced intersection with American politics and faith communities. A scathing special counsel report released laid out in detail how President Biden's mishandled classified materials. The report includes photographs of documents, showing them kept under his TV in his Delaware home and classified documents about Afghanistan barely stored. However, the special counsel concluded the evidence does not establish Mr. Biden's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, therefore prosecution would be unwarranted. Also, Colorado's 2024 presidential ballot will likely include Trump after the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
The special council looking into some classified and top-secret documents found in President Biden's possession will not be filing charges in the case. Robert Hur's report on the matter came out yesterday. While he clears the president on one hand, with the other, he indicates the president is forgetful. In not charging President Biden, Hur reasoned it was because he would present to a jury as an elderly man “with a poor memory.” That may hurt in an election year where age is becoming an issue. Michael Shure will be along to talk politics. We will lighten things up with mega-9ers fan and Bay Área dude, Kevin Pollak. Plus fun with Friday Fabulous Florida and the Culture Blaster, Michael Snyder.
Scot Bertram discusses news and headlines
The Justice Department declined to prosecute President Biden for his handling of classified Obama-era documents found in his former office and at home. In a 345-page report, special counsel Robert Hur wrote, "We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter." Geoff Bennett discussed more with Oona Hathaway, a Yale Law School professor and former special counsel at the Pentagon. PBS NewsHour is supported by - https://www.pbs.org/newshour/about/funders
In Judaism, there is an expression called the dope toe vote, which means good personal characteristic traits. And that's what each of us are called to demonstrate. And those good personal characteristic traits are the traits that God Himself has. We are called to be like him to be imitators of the living God. And when we do that we are truly demonstrating faithfulness. Sadie has been waiting for this conversation since she was 18 years old and was given a copy of Dr. Alicia Britt Chole's "Anonymous" — a book which Sadie says is the BEST book on social media. Alicia is a wife, mother, author, and former atheist who had an "unbelievable encounter with God" when she attended her first church service with a friend and says her beginning in Christ came from Him pursuing and finding her. Alicia encourages any singles out there to look for a man much like her own husband who has the fruit of the Spirit in his life, plus why we should value the "unseen" people in our lives just as much as others — don't mistake "unseen" for "unimportant!" Sadie and Alicia discuss what it means to "practice the presence of God" and how the truth that God is near to us is worth repeating to ourselves and others throughout our day. God IS near — He's not behind a curtain, He's not paused somewhere waiting for a certain thing, and He loves us before we "do" anything for Him! Plus, how differently would we live out our faith if we regularly confronted the weight of our sin and how we WILLFULLY sin against the Lord? And why we ALL need a mentor — but if you can find someone you can regularly meet with, that's an incredible blessing, so go after it! https://nativedeo.com/whoa — Get 20% OFF your first order with code WHOA! https://give.cru.org/whoa or text WHOA to 71326 — Get a free copy of Sadie's book "Live on Purpose" with your gift! Jase wishes people believed that God is the one who makes the seeds grow — not "Mother Nature" — and Phil points out that God is also the one who can prevent things from growing. Zach says people who don't believe are willfully ignorant. Jase highlights how different Jesus was than the messiah the Jews expected — they were awaiting a messiah who would conquer Rome and bring an end to wars, but Jesus ate with tax collectors, healed people, raised people from the dead, and challenged the Pharisees. Zach says our problems in the world do not need a political fix. Jase warns us all to remain open-minded and to stay away from any traditions or groups of people who don't focus on Jesus and his grace. And Phil and Jase compete over who had the lowest grades. https://www.40daysforlife.com — Get your free quarterly magazine, podcast, and essential updates from 40 Days for Life. https://faithfulcounseling.com/unashamed — Get 10% off your first month! - Learn more about your ad choices.
