All those Yinzers in Pittsburgh flooded sports-talk phone lines with howls of protest after news of their head coach inking a new 3-year contract extension broke earlier this week. Griner was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison and is expected to appeal the decision by the verdicts. Was she wrongfully convicted by the Russian court and should she be released from prison and sent back home to America? What could this mean for the WNBA players in their next offseason?
