South African Expat Tresia discusses the political issues in South Africa and her formative years. After marrying her husband, they relocated from South Africa to Hong Kong for her husband's work. This was a big adjustment, especially because Tresia had to figure out the options for having a baby in Hong Kong as she was pregnant with their oldest daughter. She was able to continue work in the optometry field and further her career as an expat in Hong Kong and enjoyed stability there with her family. Seven years later, her husband received an offer to relocate from Hong Kong to the Netherlands, so they signed up for a second expat adventure.
