Presented by Maxxis For motocross fans, Independence Day means one thing in particular: the Red Bud Pro Motocross National in Buchanan, Michigan! In the 450 class we saw the same Jett Lawrence sweep that we have seen countless times before, but this one was extra special as the Honda HRC Progressive rider came from 18th to win moto two. While some would argue that the Australian is making racing boring, we disagree! Jettson's ability to find unique lines, combine bumps to make jumps, and work past his competitors is something truly special that we are all fortunate to witness. Bookending Honda's great weekend at Red Bud was a 1-1 moto sweep in the 250 class by Japanese rider Jo Shimoda, who turned in a pair of stellar performances. But what of Haiden Deegan? The series points leader had multiple mishaps, crashes, and mechanical woes and suffered his worst overall finish of the year. More on that, and more, on this installment of the Kickstart Podcast, presented by Maxxis!

Round five of the Pro Motocross Championship took place last weekend at MX 338, and yes, the results were the same in both classes, but all four motos were anything but boring! The High Point Pro Motocross National was awesome! The weather that everyone feared all day finally rolled in and let loose just as the final 450-class moto got underway, and that made for some amazing racing that saw Eli Tomac score his second moto win of the season. At the same time, Jett Lawrence was forced to work through the pack after a poor start and a soft early race pace to earn his fourth overall of the series. And of course, Haiden Deegan rebounded with a vengeance after his Thunder Valley MX defeat to absolutely dominate both motos for his third win of the season. We cover itr all, and more, in this week's Kickstart Podcast.

We dive into the big question heading into the outdoor season: who's the top dog—Chase Sexton or Jett Lawrence? Jimmy Button joins us for Chapter 359! Jimmy's racing career took place in the golden era of the sport, lining up against the very best in supercross throughout the 90's, battling for podiums and race wins. His career came to a screeching halt in 2000 after a crash in the whoops left him temporarily paralyzed from the neck down, and his journey to getting back on his feet was long and far from comfortable. Because of Jimmy's broad understanding of what it takes to make it in this sport, what it feels like to compete at the top, and how quickly your world can fall apart when injuries hit, he started Road 2 Recovery—a foundation that helps injured action sports athletes after life-changing crashes. Not many people have seen both sides of the sport like Jimmy Button, and that's what makes his story so unique. This is three and a half hours with Jimmy Button. Enjoy—and always remember to like, subscribe, and drop a comment. We love hearing from the Gypsy Gang!

Jason Weigandt, Jason Thomas and Steve Matthes have been previewing the Monster Energy Supercross season for a dozen-plus years now, and the show returns for 2025 with Monster Energy, Maxima, Fly Racing and Motosport.com on board. This is the audio version of the five-part video series. This year's arguments include: If Eli Tomac is better now than he was early in 2024 and is that good enough now to challenge and beat Jett Lawrence? Are Chase Sexton's bike issues fixed? Will Jett Lawrence embracing the haters impact his results long term or short term? Is Hunter Lawrence part of the elite group that can win 450SX races on any night? Did we diss out Ken Roczen by leaving him until show 3? Everyone agrees that Cooper Webb will be a contender, now and forever, but there are many, many more arguments to have, now and forever. Enjoy the full kit right here in podcast format. The Racer X Exhaust podcast is presented by Yoshimura and Racer X brand.

The 1993 AMA Supercross series saw Jeremey McGrath being the first rookie to win the premier class title. In '24, Jett Lawrence became only the third rookie to achieve that feat. He felt like that audio was interesting enough to be shared in podcast form. Part one of two featured Jeremy McGrath, Damon Bradshaw, and Jeff Emig. Part two features Mike Kiedrowski, Steve Lamson, and Jeff Stanton.
