After Matt and Alex give us a sneak preview of our July live event in Minneapolis, Suzanne talks to Shea. Shea never thought she would own a practice. Since owning one for six years, she now pointedly reflects on the several times she's trusted her instincts; one that pushed her to actually buying, one that helped her delegate to her husband. Now she's coming back with a new focus to reach $1.2MM in production this year. Have these gut feelings failed her, or is she making all the right decisions?
We interview Matt Bonano. Matt is the former owner of Brooklyn South, and is now one of two butchers at St. Pete Meat & Provisions. After Matt, we take his suggestion to make the hanger steak from St. Pete Meat, which turned out to be a succulent flavor bomb.

This week Matt Wittman from WREATH returns to discuss what on Earth is happening under Dulce, NM. Before he abruptly & surprisingly departs mid-conversation for "prior podcasting commitments", we dig into a couple theories about the supposed battle that took place at the base beneath the soil of Dulce that is shared by humans & aliens. Paul Bennewitz believed the base was real, but was he the victim of Air Force disinformation efforts? Phil Schneider claims to have accidentally drilled straight into the base then shot 2 Greys, which sparked the battle that took 66 secret service men's lives...a battle that still rages TO THIS DAY. After Matt departs, I briefly run through another theory that the battle started as a super covert black ops effort to free tens of thousands of women who were held captive as sex slaves of the evil Greys. It's a wild ride that leaves you wondering are any of stories true, or are we just scratching the surface?CHECK OUT WREATH:https://wreathfl.bandcamp.com/album/s-t-epPAUL BENNEWITZ & THE DISINFORMATION EFFORT:http://www.greatdreams.com/Falcon-Richard-Doty.htmPART 1 OF A PHILIP SCHNEIDER PRESENTATION:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnlfhePC7zcTHE ABRIDGED "BATTLE REPORT":https://msuvictor.pixnet.net/blog/post/33078000LISTEN TO:NopesBrainiacOryxHeavy MedicalCharley CrockettJames HandTHIS WEEKS SPOTIFY PLAYLIST:https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7mhnkvDU17w9YksFjUCr54?si=M7Q0i8rvRK2nSPyD6vUdBA&utm_source=copy-linkTHE NEW HEAVY MEDICAL EP:https://heavymedical.bandcamp.com/album/anxiety-frustrationNEW WORD OF THE NITE:men·da·cious/menˈdāSHəs/adjectivenot telling the truth; lying."mendacious propaganda"INTRO & OUTRO MUSIC BY LEE DANIEL DINGESCONTACT FOR SOURCE LIST OR JUST TO CHAT:EMAIL: lostrhetoricpodcast@gmail.comINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/lostrhetoricpodcast/
New Year, Same Us. We're back for another season of Give it 5.Houston, we have a podcast. Desperate to save face in light of the embarrassment of admitting he had never seen Apollo 13 (go back and listen to our Backdraft episode), Frank brings Mike Lacy back on to right a great wrong. After Matt sent him a 4k blu ray of it for the holidays, all their fates were pretty much sealed. One of the biggest films of the 90s, and the grandfather to all these space thrillers they make like once a year, Apollo 13 is Ron Howards magnum opus, chronicling the harrowing flight of Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert and Fred Haise. It's also the first film that started a new chapter of Tom Hanks films, which we sort of dub the Captain/America's Dad series. It's a fantastic film with spectacular special effects and a magnificent score (by the late James Horner 2 years before he gave us Titanic).Mike Lacy has a forthcoming podcast centered around the filmography of one Thomas Cruise, so be sure to keep an eye (and ear) out for that. Days of Thetan: A Mission into the Impossible Tom Cruise, available soon where ever you get your podcasts.
On the show today , I have Matthew Geppert Matt is an old school friend who I still keep in contact with If you didn't know, I bring people onto my show that I can interview and learn from because they are making a difference in their industries and if you listen to closely you will pick up so great tips that will help you on your journey to success Matt like myself was a school leaver but didn't stop him, he got his teeth stuck into recruitment and learnt very early on that he could be a success at this. At the age of 17 he was going into conference rooms and sitting down with CEO's of huge companies but that didn't faze him because he knew his worth and knew he should be there. A lot of people struggle with this, they belittle themselves because they put the job titles on such a peddle stool that you are either fighting an up hill battle or you never begin because you are role on a few years and Matt started his own Recruitment company, that's the beauty of recruitment, you can start solo and still have quick wins straight away. The momentum built and before he knew it he has a number of people working for him and a new partner for the nordic recruitment they went into Matt had a problem though, some might not see this as problem but by the age of the 30 he had reach the levels most people don't reach when they come to retirement age, At the age of 30, Matt exited from the Nordic side of the business, he could've rested and had a few more Pina coladas but he wanted to push on continuing in recruitment, even though the company might be smaller, he as a structure in place where he doesn't need to be so hands on and that's what a lot of business owners struggle with, they cant let go of their baby and no one else can do the job they do because they've not let any attempt the job, Luckily Matt has the structure in place and that let him focus of something else What started out as a conversation with one of his best friends (Daniel Shafron) turned out to be the start of a new business venture Dan has been involved in property 10+ years, he felt that the auction side of it hadn't progressed since the dawn of time, it needed a tech injection and a way to make the research or the property (legal Pack) cheaper and easier to understand After Matt spoke with a person he built a relationship with in recruitment, they realized this had legs With 3 of them + Adam Russell who has been the man who builds the relationships with the auction houses with his expert industry knowledge and experience for 15+ years, they are on a journey to bring the auction houses into the 21st century with Legal packs that can be downloaded online with a fee that is a 5th of the price but doesn't lose any of its quality Matt will speak about the journey, the opportunity during COVID, working with friends and 3 tips to getting started Appreciate you listening / watching the show, thank you On a daily basis I put out content across many social media platforms, Connect with me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marksclairetraining/ LinkedIn: MarkSclaire https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-sclaire-97202045/ Website: www.marksclaire.com Email: mark@marksclaire.com Phone: +971566556093 ======================= Please support this channel by giving me a like, subscribing or leaving a comment.

We're joined by Kenzo Shibata (@kenzoshibata) of the Class Time Podcast (@ClassTimePod) and Twitch channel (twitch.tv/classtime) to talk about school reopenings, Chicago politics, American Empire, and the future of the Democratic Party. Laurie & Matt shift their "If I Were Principal" segment from their regular episodes to stand alone content in their bonus episodes. After Matt admits that he had erroneously been calling the segment If I WAS Principal" (Microsoft Word's grammar correction showing him the error of his way), he goes on to make a suggestion to improve students' organizational skills. Wistfully remembering the bygone days of every student being given an agenda planner, Matt suggests that technology's encroachment into education has led us to believe that explicit teaching of organizational skills has evaporated because everything is "searchable." Laurie & Matt then discuss ways that we could help our students get a handle on the flood of important information coming their way on a daily basis, and why it's a vital skill to develop heading into adulthood when being late may mean the lights get turned off. This episode features Matt Zachary, the founder of OffScrip Media. Matt is 1) an amazing human on a mission and 2) a loudmouth who is unafraid of calling bullshit. Those two qualities combined are his superpower. At age 21 Matt was diagnosed with brain cancer. His medical treatment was successful but the way the system treated him left him indignant. “When you’re 8 or 80 you’re treated age appropriately. When you’re not 8 or 80, no one cares about your quality of life. Survival rates for our generation hadn’t improved in 30 years and that was bullshit. I figured it was time for us to save ourselves because no one else gave a rat’s ass about it.”After Matt got his health and life (but not his hair) back, he formed Stupid Cancer, a nonprofit patient advocacy network that grew into the world’s largest young adult cancer community. He also hosted The Stupid Cancer Radio Show. It was angry, wry, funny and full of audacious information on how to survive the humiliations of the disease and of a health care system that showed little mercy. The show amassed millions of listeners around the world and Matt, never one for politeness, was dubbed the Howard Stern of Cancer Advocacy. In 2019 Matt stepped away from Stupid Cancer to start OffScrip Media, which he describes as the first podcasting network at the intersection of patient advocacy, education, and digital health. His flagship show, “Out of Patients,” tells stories of healthcare heroes and helps patients navigate the bureaucracy, wrestle with difficult to understand information in hopes of giving them control over their illness and treatments.Cannabis obviously has a huge role to play in this mission and we are thrilled to join Matt’s new venture as a podcast on his network. Our aim is to bring the knowledge about the plant, and the most-up-to-date ways to use it to anyone anywhere in the world who wants it. That’s why our collaboration makes so much sense. Our two voices combined are so much louder together. A few highlights of our conversation:“In healthcare, progress is like the stock market…Compared to 1996 when I was diagnosed, we have come really far. Yes, we still have a fakakta healthcare sector that puts profits over patients -- it took them a long time to realize that the end user is the patient and not the doctor. But I see a light at the end of the tunnel, with telehealth, personalized medicine, and realizing that the cost of care affects the bottom line to a company, not just the wallet of the patient.” “No one considered the humanity of cancer patients 20 years ago…. But advocacy to me meant one thing…dignity. Yes, there is quality of care, but quality of life is tantamount to quality of care. To me that’s advocacy: Making sure that what you go through sucks as little as possible.” “I’ve been touting the value of cannabis in cancer, not necessarily to get stoned but to get well, to help create credibility for the people who have the research and have the knowledge. We support the notion that you have a right to achieve the level of wellness that you deserve without breaking the law…you didn’t ask to get sick you just want to feel a little better. Cannabis advocacy and cancer is at the top of my list to bring forward in this new chapter.”Finally, the great scholar and legalization advocate, Dr. Lester Grinspoon, died last week at age 92. I pay tribute to him on the cast and here is his obit in the New York Times. Lester is perhaps the only doctor to have the honor of having a strain named after him. According to the Dutch grower, "Dr. Grinspoon is an old school sativa of the highest order, which gives a strong, long-lasting, energetic and cerebral high.” RIP, Dr. G.
We know, we know...there hasn't been a new episode of PSG Talking for a few weeks but I promise this episode more than makes up for our absence. On this episode, I'm joined by Matt (https://twitter.com/psgtourist) to discuss the latest headlines and answer a few questions from listeners sent in via Twitter. We begin the show by discussing the one confirmed Shamrock Rovers and Celtic FC (https://psgtalk.com/2020/07/psg-schedule-friendlies-against-shamrock-rovers-and-celtic/) . After Matt informs me that Ireland and Scotland are in fact two different countries, the panel shares what fans can expect from the squad after going more than three months without playing a match together. Layvin Kurzawa and Edinson Cavani are the next two topics up for discussion. The Frenchman surprisingly forgo an opportunity to win the UEFA Champions League (https://www.marca.com/futbol/liga-francesa/2020/06/20/5eee1c0eca4741c6488b45aa.html) . Will that decision affect Cavani's legacy with the club? Speaking of the Champions League, the draw for the quarter-finals will take place on July 10, and the guys share who they hope to see in the next round of the competition. Personally, I hope to see PSG take on Barcelona to watch Neymar torch his former team and put them out of their misery. We wrap up the show with a conversation about Neymar Jr. and the leave PSG for FC Bayern Munich (https://fcbayern.com/fcbayerntv/en/videos/2020/07/tanguy-nianzou-signs-for-fc-bayern) , and several Twitter questions. For our second October anthology movie, Brian once again shows how inscrutable his tastes are by hitting us with 1971's ironically bloodless THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD. Matt Daigle, CEO and Founder of Rise, joins us on the Art of Construction podcast to share how his digital platform helps professionals and clients build sustainable projects. After Matt renovated his own home, he realized there wasn't an easy way to figure out how to build or remodel in ways that would save money AND lower project footprints...and so Rise was born. Rise helps professionals showcase their portfolios to potential clients interested in sustainable building. Take a listen as Matt explains how digital marketing is a must in today's fast-paced online world and where the global green building materials market (expected to reach USD 364.6 billion by 2022) is headed.

Gears and Beers: The Unashamedly Unprofessional Automotive Podcast
What the deuce? Two episodes in two days? Craziness! This episode is a continuation from the last episode, somewhat, and after a bit of nonsense, we start off with 'Finder's Fee'... After Matt incorrectly calls it 'What About This Car' a few times. The budget Joseph gave Matt for this week's episode of 'Finder's Fee' is $200,000.The 3, well 4 (kinda), cars this week are; 2017 Dodge Challenger HellcatMack Trident (truck)2017 Audi RS6 Advant2017 Range Rover SportMatt then goes on to talk about Ford Mustangs, and Joseph impresses all with his knowledge on Mustangs and muscle cars.We then get onto an argument about manufacturers and dealerships pre-modifying vehicles, which Matt finds particularly triggering with regards to cafe racer motorcycles.Like us on
After Matt and Lydia's wedding, the crew decide it would be very smart idea to record at 1.30am in the morning after the reception. Was it a good idea? We'll leave that up to you.
Have you ever said "This should be a movie?" Yes, you have. So have TheWrap's Matt Donnelly and Tim Molloy, and with "Shoot This Now," they focus every week on a different story they think want to see onscreen, drawing on things they read, stories they overhear, and even their own strange life experiences. Like the time Matt spent hours hanging out with John Mayer, who apparently thought Matt was someone else. After Matt tells "The John Mayer Story," Tim pitches a project about a legendary date between The Drudge Report's Matt Drudge and Gawker's Nick Denton. Great show this week with a really great interview. After Matt and Hank open the show Hank sits down for a round table discussion on women in the tech and whiskey industry. We have some heavy hitters talking about the challenges women face and how both of those industries parallel each other in terms of what women go through to be accepted. Along with that we will mix in a tasting and discussion about two products from the Glenfiddich line. Some craft beer talk as well. After that it's back to sports talk. Matt and Hank talk about the NHL playoffs and where we go from here, as well as what has surprised us so far. Then NBA playoffs as we are basically waiting for a Cleveland/Golden State finals rematch. We'll wrap it up with an early look at the Vegas predictions for NFL win totals for the upcoming season. This week's round table guests are: Kate Brodock Women 2.0 https://women2.com/about/ Jennifer Wren and Tracie Franklin Glenfiddich Brand Ambassadors http://www.glenfiddich.com/us/
Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org Venerable Matt Talbot - (1856 - 1925) From his early teens until age 28 Matt's only aim in life had been liquor. But from that point forward, his only aim was God. Matt Talbot was born May 2, 1856, the second of twelve children born to Charles and Elizabeth Talbot. In Matt's early years he knew little security or stability. Compulsory school attendance was not in force, and Matt never attended any school regularly. At the age of twelve Matt ot his first job; it was in a wine bottling store and that is when his excessive drinking began. One evening when he was 28 he went out and found a priest, went to confession and "took the Pledge" for three months. Many times he felt he would not be able to hold out for three months, but within the year he renewed the pledge for life, never touching alcohol again (41 more years). His resolve was maintained by a new life of much prayer, daily Mass, hard work and much penance. Matt Talbot collapsed and died of heart failure on June 7, 1925. Penitential chains were found on his body after his death. After Matt's death his reputation for holiness became widespread, and by 1931 the first inquiry into his life had begun. The decree on his virtues was issued October 3, 1975.
The boys are back! After Matt and George took quite a long hiatus surfing in Baha they are back on the Case/Cage! In answer to this the concept has now changed from every week for 52 weeks to whenever we feel like, forever. The boys will now watch every Nic Cage movie until he, or more likely they die... This week, after apologising for the lack of episodes, they apologise for some truly TERRIBLE audio quality. The movie is 8MM, and the mood is high. This week Nic investigates snuff films in the illicit world of porn, he makes friends with Joaquin Phoenix and eats revenge for breakfast. All with the sole purpose to answer the question, Nicolas Cage, good or bad? Again, sorry for the sound quality...or mic's have got lost. We will have got better ones for the next episode.

After (Matt 12) and the Nation Rejection of Jesus as the Messiah… we saw a distinct change in Jesus' ministry. It went from having it's main focus being Jesus giving evidence of Himself as the Messiah to the Nation of Israel, and teaching and preaching for that purpose. Now shifting, and having the main focus be on the training of His disciples, and preparing them to be sent out and carry on ministry after His ascension. We look at what it means to be a sent people. Sent by Jesus on mission.
