Our man "Otto from the Grotto" spoke with Mike and Ming Chen from Comic Book Men at Terrificon and rocked the Mic!
MEGA was fortunate to have a table at O Comic Con 2018. We got to meet a LOT of people from fans, to other fellow podcasters, and even Ming Chen from AMC's "Comic Book Men." Eddie was also able to sit down with long time friend and fan of the show, Chris Metry from Omaha's very own PWP Wrestling which is Omaha's very own professional wrestling organization! Chris has been featured on the show before and we seriously doubt this will be the last, as he may just have as much love for MOTU as Carl, Eddie and Jeff! Jeff met up with another fellow local podcaster, Lee Searcey. Lee hosts the podcast "Covert Nerd" based out of Lincoln, NE where he talks about everything and anything nerdy. It was a great pleasure to share some time with him and swap some stories! And lastly, as we stated, we got to meet up with a LOT of fans of He-man and She-ra the entire weekend. We decided to sit down with Zorra Reed who happened who was a winner to one of our Giveaways that we were promoting all weekend. Zorra tells a GREAT story on how she got into being a fan of She-ra and eventually He-man. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a great episode featuring some super MEGA fans of everything MOTU! We also want to take a moment and apologize for the background noise. As you can tell, we were in the middle of a convention and from time to time you could hear the wresting going on in the background. Also, please be sure to check out Ming Chen on his podcast "I Sell Comics!" Check out "PWP Wrestling" on Facebook. And be sure to check out the "Covert Nerd Podcast" as well! Until next time, please remember to Like, Comment and Share us on our "Make Eternia Great Again" Facebook page! GOOD JOURNEY!!!

In which your humble narrator reflects on the passing of Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul (RIP) , my first metal concert and getting kicked in the head, and first memories of the band Pantera and favorite song. I also mourn the loss (aka cancellation) of AMC's Comic Book Men. I ponder about crowd funded podcasts joining the murky, uncharted waters of Patreon and become crowd supported, exclusive content providers. More music talk, and water park stories involving life and death. Tiny clips from Pantera, Damageplan, the original CBM intro theme, Amy Winehouse, and whatnot. Tiny Grindhouse intro from Keith Mansfield's Funky Fanfare. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/roaming-reigns/support

The Heart of NOVACON George is joined by guest co-host Tom McKeon, otherwise known as the Heart of NOVACON. NOVACON (www.thenovacon.com) was the comic, gaming, cosplaying, pop culture event held at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA July 28-30 this year. Last week you heard George speak with Ming Chen from AMC's Comic Book Men at the convention (check out episode 183 in our archives at www.georgeandtony.com) and you heard George and his nephew Frank discuss their volunteering experiences. This week, Tom tells George about his own adventures volunteering in almost all aspects of the show. We had originally planned a round table discussion about NOVACON but scheduling conflicts prevented that. Not only did Tom provide more than enough behind-and-in-front-of-the-scenes stories, George also had a chance to record a conversation with Kevin Bednarz, one of the key players behind NOVACON. This episode provides a nice epilogue to NOVACON 2017. Subscribe on iTunes and share our links on social media. Help like-minded, fun loving people discover us by leaving us reviews. You never know who you'll meet or what you'll learn on The George and Tony Entertainment Show.
