Then, they dive into the news: Trump gets cheered at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift hears some well-earned boos, Luigi Mangione's defense fund hits $300K, and John Fetterman admits the Democratic brand is tanking with men. Plus, Kendrick Lamar scrubs his “Not Like Us” track for the halftime show—because, of course, he does. On the eve of Comedian Monique's bonnet controversy we had to have a real discussion to gain clarity on the state of body image today and how it affects relationships. In this show our topics included the perception of women, dangerous situations caused by dress attire, varying attraction levels, breaking away from social media, sleeping naked, sex swings and dressing to match a standard. Plus the chat room goons had too much to say and kept us debating the entire episode; Hilarious!Hosted By @Vanessa_Smilez, @Precenda_Inc & @MzBeautidollFeaturing Guest @Stunning_Summer_3Powered By @TheRantersUnion --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/smilez69network/support

My thoughts on what Comedian Monique said recently about bonnets and having PRIDE in ourselves as black women .
The WSIGAD gang get really random this episode speaking on everything from what requirements should be needed to ride around the grocery store in one of those scooters to who they think the top 4 hip-hop artist of 2010 are. We also get into a brutal discussion about body positivity involving more comments that have been made towards the Grammy award winning songstress Lizzo. Is feeling good and comfortable in your body more important than your health? In our private group we brought up a post about a woman claiming she was going to make her teen work and pay bills to teach them responsibility, Is this good parenting or broke parenting? With so much free money being passed around fancy restaurants are starting to see an influx of customers that can't typically afford their services. This has pushed places like Steak 48 out of Chicago to enforce 100$ minimums and strict dress codes. Is this lowkey racist? Comedian Monique takes to instagram to discuss her displeasure with what she saw in an ATL airport. According to her she saw more bonnets, pajamas and house slippers than she could count. Do todays women no longer care how they look outside of social media? Is men wearing du-rags in public the same as women and their bonnets?
Today on the show as The Breakfast Club is on vacation we flashed back to our classic interview with comedian Monique, when she spoke on her case with Netflix giving her a low budget deal on a stand up, and her issues she had with Lenard Mckelvey giving her "Donkey of the Day". Speaking of "Donkey of the Day" we flashed back to when Charlamagne gave his hee haw to a rapper with unemployment fraud. Today’s topic on the 20 minute morning show is about comedian Monique when she made an appearance on the Steve Harvey show and they got into a debate on why Monique has been blackballed from the movie industry… Shawn and I were shocked by some of the comments that Steve Harvey made but Sundi agreed with Steve. I personally thought he sounded like a super slave saying things like "we black out here and we can do the type of things that we want to do".. to me he sounded like he was a A subservient sycophant who does the bidding of his masters… On the show she talked about Oprah Winfrey turning her back on Monique because in private they said one thing about supporting her and then in public they turned their back on Monique and that’s why she is calling them out ...it’s a deep discussion that we had please give us your feedback --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/bj-murphy9/support

Today episode of mind on the grind gives you five things you can do when the industry your in don't wanna pay you! This podcast stems from the Comedian Monique & the Netflix ordeal from earlier this week!
So recently the well know Comedian Monique, yall know Monique has sounded the trumpet for everyone to boycott the streaming service Netflix. Why is this? Well, She was recently offered $500,000 for a comedy special. Now the reason why this is a problem is that Amy Schumer was offered $11,000,000. Not only was she offered 11,000,000 but she was actually able to negotiate a higher sum to the tune of $13,000,000. Needless to say, Monique was outraged. Immediately, She and her husband wanted to know why there was such a vast difference between her, the veteran and the relatively new Amy Schumer. After failed negotiations with Netflix Monique decided to go on Sway’s radio show to voice her outrage. She cited female discrimination due to the fact that comedians like Dave Chappelle And Chris Rock were also offered millions by the streaming service. This, however, wasn’t a surprise considering Dave and Chris have always commanded high salaries. Aside from that She also cited racial discrimination due to the fact that her fellow black female comedians were also offered less than a million dollars. Well, there’s a couple things at play here, and I’ll do my best to dissect them all. Firstly, Monique was first black balled a while back for doing something that put her out of the good graces of Hollywood. Something that has happened to numerous people. What she doesn’t realize is she’s still being punished. Not only for doing what she did to be black balled, but have the nerve to actually raise hell about it. And make no mistake. I’m not saying she should’ve taken it lying down. But for every action there’s an opposite but equal reaction. And Hollywood is a truly cut-throat town. Not saying you shouldn’t fight, but there are ways to fight.
In this Episode @SpokenReasons touches on Faking amongst people. Also breaking down the rooted issue with Comedian Monique requesting Black People to boycott Netflix. {#FCHW} {@BigMikeTheMessenger} {@JayJTheDJ} {@MelaninCode} {@fchwlife}
