Scalar Energy, Shamanic Journeys & the Quantum Field — The John Edmonds Awakening What if everything you were taught about energy, religion, and consciousness was wrong? John Edmonds—a Southern comedy mogul turned spiritual conduit—reveals a raw, mysterious journey from small-town traditions to a full-blown awakening of divine scalar energy. Through an intense shamanic initiation, John unlocks ancient knowledge, encounters ancestral protectors, and discovers the quantum field pulsing through his own hands. This video is not theory—it's transmission. On this episode of the ITV Pridecast, Liam McConkey visits the Coronation Street Visitor Experience in Media City to chat with Naomi Sloyan, one of the soap's location managers, about living with HIV. Alongside Naomi is Darren Knight from the George House Trust, the charity which offers advice and support on anything to do with HIV. Both discuss the importance of testing and how effective HIV treatment is helping peoplelive long and healthy lives. In 2022, 39 million people across the globe were living with HIV. The treatment for and awareness of the condition has significantly changed over the years, but even with effective medication, stigma and misconceptions still exist about the virus. For a long time, HIV has often been stereotyped as a condition affecting mainly gay or bisexual men. But now in some parts of the UK the number of new HIV diagnoses among heterosexual people is higher than it is for gay and bisexual men.Naomi Sloyan knows just how crucial it is to get tested for HIV. In 2014 she unknowingly contracted the virus after being in a brief relationship with a man. However it wasn't until several years later that she started showing symptoms and was diagnosed with HIV in March 2018. In that period between her contracting HIV and then being diagnosed with it, Naomi had not been sexually active, but says if she had it would've been picked up sooner because she would've had sexual health tests done. But despite being very ill for around a year before her diagnosis, medical professionals did not think to test her for HIV. That was until one consultant who was trying to work out what was making her unwell, recommended a test. After taking one Naomi's results came back positive and she was finally able to know what had been causing her to be so ill. Soon after she started receiving effective treatment from the sexual health clinic and within two months she was back at work as a location manager at Coronation Street, something she's been doing for 25 years. Naomi shares her story with Liam McConkey on this ITV Pridecast which was recorded in the run-up to World AIDS Day on 1st December. She discusses why all people should go and get regularly tested for HIV and no one should assume that they cannot contract it. Naomi also talks about the support out there for people when they get diagnosed and why it's vital to understand what it means to be undetectable and untransmittable (U=U).Joining them on the Pridecast is Darren Knight, the CEO of the George House Trust. The charity has been helping support people with HIV since 1985 and is based in the north east of England. The organisation says its purpose is to inspire people living with HIV to live healthy and confident lives. Darren shares how people can do just that and the support his charity and many others provide to anyone affected by HIV. He also chats about the importance of understanding the terminology in this subject area, especially regarding the difference between HIV and AIDs and what it means to be U=U. As well as that, Darren talks about the stigma for people with HIV and how we must continue to challenge it. This World AIDS Day we're getting together with people from leading UK regional HIV organisations looking at charity and community and the role they have played in the response to the HIV pandemic. With the absence of support from society generally, a hostile media and the initial medical outlook so bleak, it became the job of the community to provide hope and emotional support at first. But some of the initial groups are still with us and going strong pushing back on stigma and providing upto date education to a world that seems to have its view of HIV firmly set in a different age. Graeme Smith chats to the people in charge at Thames Valley Positive Support in Berkshire and George House Trust in Manchester. Both vital lifelines for people living with HIV since 1985. We're talking about how U+U and prep have changed the game and how a huge number of HIV positive people have lived in fear of being criminalised even until recently. We're also talking about the rights of people living with HIV when it comes to getting tattoos. In an episode packed with queer history, old news reports, first hand accounts and some exceptionally raw and personal reflection. We're also hearing how Manchester Pride this year took a moment to reflect at the annual HIV vigil with the reading of poem This Quilted History, written and read at the event by Jay Mitra leading the candlelit reflection. It sounds even more poignant this world aids day. With thanks to Sarah Macadam the Chief Executive of Thames Valley Positive Support, Jessica Harding, deputy CEO at TVPS, The HIV Podcast, Darren Knight, the CEO of George House trust and to Jay Mitra. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/outcastuk/message

Bret Holmes might be one of the most exciting and talented young drivers to come out of the state of Alabama in recent memory. As he travels to and from Auburn University, where he is a sophomore in building science, Bret focuses on school and racing to secure his future in the ever-changing world that surrounds him. This 20-year-old racing savant has quickly become a mainstay in Pro Late Model, Super Late Model, and ARCA racing all over the nation. In 2016, Holmes debuted in the ARCA Racing Series, and in only a limited seven-race schedule, brought home six top-10s. However, that was not his first taste of success. The Munford, Alabama native grew up around racing. Living only a few miles from the iconic Talladega Superspeedway and Talladega Short Track. He knew at a young age that racing was in his blood. His father, Stacy Holmes, also a racer for many years, held the record at Talladega Short Track until Bret took over the honor in 2013.Holmes has won at every level of racing since he began at the age of 8. Starting back then, he raced go-karts for four years and racked up consecutive seasons of 17, 18, and 25 wins each. From there, he moved into his first year of asphalt racing. After making the switch to paved track, Holmes went back and forth between dirt and pavement. During this time, he competed in the Crate Late Model Division at Talladega Short Track and Green Valley Speedway. He won this championship and accumulated two wins during that season. From there the focus went to Super Late Model, as he raced in the Southern All Stars Series. He dominated his competition and finished second in points; winning rookie of the year. After many years of honing his skills on dirt, Bret once again went full-time to asphalt. He joined the Lee Faulk Racing and Driver Development team out of North Carolina and began to start the process of mastering, yet another skill. He raced in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Hometrack Series until he decided to make his next move. After coming back to run out of his family shop in Alabama, Holmes continued his pursuit of paved racing glory.Just like in all the other series he had ever participated in; success was once again coming to the H2 car. Holmes won the 2015 "Show Me the Money Series" Pro Late Model championship at Alabama’s Montgomery Motor Speedway. He then went on to finish third in the 2015 "Snowflake 100" at Five-Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.  In 2016, Holmes added another notch in his racing belt when he won the Pro Late Model Track Championship at Five-Flags Speedway while maintaining an average finishing position of 3.5 at the iconic Florida track. Also, in 2016, Holmes started his ARCA career that became highlighted by seven races throughout the 2016 season. In his limited number of starts, Holmes managed three top-5 and six top-10 finishes. In 2017, Holmes competed full-time in ARCA with great success. After winning the SCOTT Rookie of the Race at Daytona in February, he went on to compile 12 top-10 and two top-5 finishes. He also managed to finish third and sixth respectively in the SCOTT Rookie of the Year and driver championship standings. As his future continues to get brighter each day, Holmes looks towards the 2018 season as his next big challenge. All be it a tough one, this team is doubling-down on a promise to dominate the ARCA Racing Series one track at a time.
