Four years after his U.S. Senate race and personal turmoil collided, Democrat Cal Cunningham sits down with host Tim Boyum to open up about that period in his life. They talk about his affair with another woman, why he didn't drop out and how it affected his defeat. They also break down the barbecue tweet that went viral, and why he says it made him more upset than just about anything else in the campaign. Later, you can listen to the stories between Cunningham and his then opponent Sen. Thom Tillis share several meals together, and just how difficult it is to be a moderate in today's politics. Both agree that though they may disagree on many things, dialogue is important.

Send us a Text Message. In this episode of the podcast, I talk about reaching the 4 year mark of living with Long Covid. I don't like to acknowledge this as an anniversary but I wanted to acknowledge the time that has passed, and what I have learnt along the way. It is strange how 4 years is such a long time, and in one way it has felt like the longest time ever! and the other has me questioning 'where have those years gone?' This is a reflection of the last 4 years and I wanted to acknowledge that, and the impact it has had/has on those we love the most. I think it's important to consider how much life has changed and how hard that is sometimes, but I also wanted to acknowledge how much we learn, and evolve, the resilience and hope. I hope you enjoy this episode of the podcast; please feel free to contact me if you would like me to discuss a particular topic or if you would like to be a guest on the podcast. James B. Meigs joins us to talk about Anthony Fauci’s shockingly disingenuous, and possibly perjurious, testimony before the House on the origins of COVID—as we recall and recollect the series of disastrous policies he and others enacted without consequence to themselves. And here today, from New York to D.C. to Los Angeles, it’s Charlottesville 2017 […]
The COVID origin committee speaks to Dr. Fauci, and even now, four years later, it's unlikely similar lawfare and litigation pushed against Trump will apply to Fauci. Visit the Howie Carr Radio Network website to access columns, podcasts, and other exclusive content.

In this week's conversation between Dr. James Emery White and co-host Alexis Drye, they reflect on the four years that have passed since the U.S. declared a national emergency in response to COVID. The pandemic upended our lives and our world, and four years later its effects are still being felt. Episode Links Julie Bosman wrote an article in the New York Times titled, “Four Years On, Covid Has Reshaped Life for Many Americans.” While some found joy in things like home schooling, working from home and the slower pace of life we were all forced into, others are still mourning the loss of loved ones or still harboring feelings of anger toward the divisiveness the pandemic left in its wake. The pandemic had a profound effect on the church as well. Two years into the pandemic Dr. White wrote a blog titled “Add Pastors to the Great Resignation,” following the departure of many pastors who felt they could not win no matter what decision they made for their church: masks or no masks, pro-vaccines or anti-vaccines, open or closed to in-person services, etc. He wrote another blog titled, “Five Ways the Pandemic Is Saving the Church,” noting how beneficial it has been for the church to be forced to go outside of its four walls and move online - a place where younger generations are easier to reach. In Dr. White's book Meet Generation Z, he wrote about how this generation is the first to grow up in a truly post-Christian world. A Gallup poll found that 56% of Americans “seldom” or “never” attend a religious service. And an article in the Wall Street Journal noted how Gen Z became increasingly disillusioned as a result of the pandemic. Therefore, the church must respond by reaching these digital natives where they are - online. This was the heart of Dr. White's book Hybrid Church, which you can find HERE. For those of you who are new to Church & Culture, we'd love to invite you to subscribe (for free of course) to the twice-weekly Church & Culture blog and check out the Daily Headline News - a collection of headlines from around the globe each weekday. We'd also love to hear from you if there is a topic that you'd like to see discussed on the Church & Culture Podcast in an upcoming episode. Dr. Hanke notes that another damaging policy was prolonged school closures. He writes: “By one estimate today's children will lose $17 trillion in lifetime earnings owing to school closings.” You can read the full editorial here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/covid-lessons-learned-four-years-later-596a9fa9

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (03/28/2024): 3:05pm- On Thursday, former President Donald Trump attended the wake of fallen New York City Police Officer Jonathan Diller. Speaking from outside the wake, Trump said “this is a horrible thing and it's happening all too often”—noting that the man accused of killing Officer Diller had been previously arrested on numerous occasions, and yet was allowed to go free each time. 3:10pm- On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed legislation that empowers homeowners to evict squatters. The new Harvard Harris poll in conjunction with the Center for American Political Studies found that immigration is not only the top issue facing the country, but that Biden has the lowest approval rating on his handling of immigration compared to other issues.” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/voters-say-immigration-is-top-issue-facing-country-biden-faces-widespread-disapproval-on-immigration 3:40pm- Earlier this week, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced his newest venture: selling bibles! Of course, members of the media are melting down in response—including CNN's Ashley Allison who suggested this violates separation of church and state. 4:05pm- On Thursday, former President Donald Trump attended the wake of fallen New York City Police Officer Jonathan Diller. Officer Diller, 31-years-old, was fatally shot during a traffic stop earlier this week in Massapequa, NY. He writes: “Almost everyone now realizes that school closures and other lockdowns, were a colossal mistake. Francis Collins has acknowledged his error of singularly focusing on Covid without considering collateral damage to education and non-Covid health outcomes. That's the honest thing to do, and I hope this honesty will reach Harvard. The public deserves it, and academia needs it to restore its credibility. Science cannot survive in a society that does not value truth and strive to discover it. The scientific community will gradually lose public support and slowly disintegrate in such a culture. The pursuit of truth requires academic freedom with open, passionate, and civilized scientific discourse, with zero tolerance for slander, bullying, or cancellation. My hope is that someday, Harvard will find its way back to academic freedom and independence.” You can read the full article here: https://www.city-journal.org/article/harvard-tramples-the-truth 5:30pm- Kevin Tan of Business Insider writes: “A Texas man says he believes anybody else should be president instead of the current Democratic and GOP frontrunners. And he's taking things into his own hands and running a long shot race to prove a point—by changing his name to ‘Literally Anybody Else.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.businessinsider.com/texas-man-named-literally-anybody-else-is-running-for-president-2024-3 5:45pm- In their recent Wall Street Journal editorial, Jonathan A. Lesser and Mark P. Mills write: “Widespread adoption of EVs will require an unprecedented and staggeringly expensive expansion of local electrical grids. This will require a huge increase in the production of electrical transformers, along with more power plants and transmission lines to produce and deliver energy. This overhaul must include upgrading local grid distribution at the roughly 3,000 electric utilities across the country—the wires, poles and transformers that line our streets. There are 60 million to 80 million distribution transformers in neighborhoods, designed for existing loads. Around one million new ones are sold annually, two-thirds of which replace aged-out transformers. That replacement rate isn't close to meeting the EPA's dreams. Millions more—and heavier—transformers will be needed to handle higher power levels and more frequent use, even if many EVs are charged overnight. This will also require replacing many of the existing utility poles to handle new transformers' extra weight.” You can read the full editorial here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/can-we-power-the-epas-ev-fantasy-electrical-grid-energy-vehicles-a786d535?mod=opinion_lead_pos6 6:05pm- Josh Christenson and David Thompson of The New York Post writes: “Attorneys for first son Hunter Biden fought Wednesday to dismiss a federal indictment out of Los Angeles charging that he evaded $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019 — but still had to acknowledge their client did ‘clearly stupid things.' High-powered Biden defense attorney Abbe Lowell filed eight motions last month alleging a “selective and vindictive” prosecution by special counsel David Weiss, arguing the proceedings were politically tainted and some of the charges were outside the six-year statute of limitations.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/03/27/us-news/hunter-biden-attorneys-seek-to-dismiss-tax-fraud-charges-in-los-angeles/ 6:30pm- On Thursday, former President Donald Trump attended the wake of fallen New York City Police Officer Jonathan Diller. Happy Fourth Anniversary of Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread! Howie opens the hour with a list of things America did horribly, horribly wrong at the dawn of the Panic. Then, Howie and Taylor take a trip down memory lane by playing the least science-y takes from former Governor Charlie Baker.
Today, we mark the grim four-year anniversary of COVID fascism. I offer a holistic view on where we are and assess what has happened to us politically, legally, medically, and economically. We now know that the FDA knew these shots would kill, yet nobody has been held accountable. Chip Roy has a bill to begin holding people accountable. Later on, we are joined by Edward Down, a financial services data expert, who has taken the lead in gathering all of the data on excess deaths and disability to show the devastation of the vaccines. He proves through multiple statistical analyses that there have been 1.1 million excess deaths and 2.4 million excess disabilities associated with the shots that perfectly correlate with both the timing of the vaccine's release and the mandate later in 2021. Now, we are seeing an explosion of excess cancers both in the U.S. and U.K. May God have mercy on us. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Four years ago this week, the U.S. shut down in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. While officials were adamant that lockdowns, masks, and later vaccines were essential for all Americans to limit the damage from the spread, it's become increasingly clear that the science behind so many of the mandates was decidedly shaky. Yet those who warned at the time of the risks of draconian actions were widely denounced and even silenced. On this episode of the Free Expression podcast, Professor Martin Kulldorff, one of the most prominent skeptics tells Gerry Baker why he says he was fired as professor of medicine at Harvard University for his views, why the research on vaccines is not so 'black and white,' and why the media and society were so hostile to alternative views on masks, school closures and natural immunity. It's four years since we reported the first cases of an outbreak of a mysterious viral pneumonia in the city of Wuhan in China. Within months, what become known as Covid-19, had spread around the world affecting most people in some way. The disease led to the creation of this programme. Since March 2020 – shortly after the World Health Organisation declared a pandemic – we began our first conversations. Four years on, we thought we would take the opportunity to return to Covid-19 and reunite some of the people we have spoken with over the past four years. Our conversations feature three doctors – in India, Italy and the US – who treated Covid-19 patients in the early days of the pandemic. Two of them, including Dr Tsion Firew in New York, are now stepping back from frontline medicine. “People are leaving critical care after they witnessed those brutal months of Covid,” she tells us. “I'm burnt out, so many of my other colleagues are burnt out, so I'm taking a break for the next few years.” Host James Reynolds also catches up with three former guests who have long Covid to find out how they are getting on. And we bring together people whose lives have changed for the better as a result of the pandemic. It's not something they usually talk about openly! FOUR YEARS LATER, WILL THEY SPEAK ABOUT COVID? 1/8: Chaos Under Heaven: Trump, Xi, and the Battle for the Twenty-First Century by Josh Rogin (Author) https://www.amazon.com/Chaos-Under-Heaven-Twenty-First-Century/dp/0358393248 By the time the COVID-19 pandemic erupted in Wuhan, Trump's love-hate relationship with Xi had sparked a trade war, while Xi's aggression had pushed the world to the brink of a new Cold War. But their quarrel had also forced a long-overdue reckoning within the United States over China's audacious foreign-influence operations, horrific human rights abuses, and creeping digital despotism. Ironically, this awakening was one of the biggest foreign-policy victories of Trump's fractious term in office. Filled with shocking revelations drawn from Josh Rogin's unparalleled access to top U.S. officials from the White House and deep within the country's foreign policy machine, Chaos Under Heaven reveals an administration at war with itself during perhaps our most urgent hour. 1940 Boxers
