We all know November is Survivor Series month, so we're harkening back to when this event was truly about surviving: 1990, when the babyface and heel survivors of each match met in the main event. That meant Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and Tito Santana (!) versus the all-star squad of Ted DiBiase, Rick Martel, The Warlord, Hercules, and Paul Roma. Sound like trouble for our all-star superheroes? You bet it wasn't. Join us for the squashiest main in Survivor Series history.

My on-going series on the history of pro wrestling has now reached the end of 1985. The information for this episode is taken from my book DragonKingKarl's 1984-1985 Pro Wrestling Omnibus available from Amazon. 1985 was a hugely impactful year in pro wrestling history and in December 1985, the AWA crowned a new World champion when Stan Hansen defeated Rick Martel. The Grenade returns with the fallout from the 1989 Royal Rumble as we look at the weekend of January 21st - 23rd of 1989 in the WWF! The Mega Powers story continues to build as WWF Champ Randy Savage battles Akeem, leading to interference from the Big Boss Man, and Hulk Hogan arrives to save the day! Andre the Giant sees a hypnotist in an attempt to qualm his fear of... snakes. Ladies Champion Rockin' Robin throws down with Sensational Sherri as Mean Gene Okerlund finds himself LITERALLY in the middle of the brawl.
