Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy old time radio podcast. Please join me this afternoon as I bring to the show our favorite roommates Miss Marie Wilson and Kathy Lewis in the CBS radio show my friend irma. In this first episode we find the girls once again in their apartment when all the sudden Jane has some wonderful news for Irma. Richard has invited the whole gang see him off to England. So Al has a wonderful idea since he could not make it in New York he wants to go with Richard on his trip to England and see if he can get anybody interested in one of his big deals. But as we all know Al's deals never come through. So Al has an idea of sneaking on one of the lifeboats and staying there until the ship departs. As Richard is saying goodbye to everyone Irma suddenly leaves and goes to find out on the lifeboat. They have a secret code for Irma to knock three times on each lifeboat. But unfortunately for Irma now the captain is below the deck where the lifeboats are and suddenly knocks on the lifeboat where Al was. So the captain has Al and Irma and brings them to Richard's room. Irma has no time to explain why Al was going to be going to England with Richard. So the whole gang to get off the boat but unfortunately for them Irma is gone so all their friends are looking for her but it's not until they depart for the sea that they realize that Irma is the only one off the boat. And it is called bon voyage and in the next episode we find the girls trying to find a way to cool off when all the sudden Irma has a wonderful idea why don't they go to Coney Island to cool off. So Richard and Al are unable to go because they are busy so Irma Jane and professor krowpopkin and Mrs O'Reilly All go to Coney Island to enjoy the day together when all the sudden Al ends up meeting the gang down there at Coney Island because one of his business deals did not come through. When Al sees Irma with the lifeguard he becomes jealous. So Al goes to cool off while Irma is trying to figure out what she did wrong. But Irma ends up winning a contest. And it is called a trip to Coney Island. And in this last episode guys which I did not include in my intro but in giving it to you in the bonus. The girls end up planning a vacation to moosehead Lodge in Rhode Island and they both end up sending letters Jane since one that is very informative, informal. While Irma and Al send a letter of their own which can make no sense to anyone except to have a good laugh. And it is called planning a vacation. A friend suggested they take a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. (3:21) Each year, the Order of Malta brings thousand of malades — the French word for “sick person” — to the site of the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes. The narrator describes the history of Lourdes, its reputation for miracles, and the thousands who each year seek healing in the baths there. (6:38) Tom Larabell, president of the Knights of Malta Free Medical and Dental Clinic in Detroit and former chair and treasurer for the area Knights of Malta, describes what a typical pilgrimage to Lourdes looks like. (8:49) Dr. Ed Jelonek, an osteopathic surgeon and member of the order, describes how he become involved with helping malades make what for many is a life-changing pilgrimage — though not always for the reasons they expect. (12:53) Kathy Lewis describes arriving on French soil with a prayer in her heart for healing. Philip's prognosis wasn't promising, and she knew it would take nearly a miracle to change his trajectory. hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy Old Time radio podcast. please welcome back to the show Miss Kathy Lewis and Miss Maire Wilson in the CBS comedy show my friend irma. in this first episode we find the girls once again in their living room when Jane looks over and sees her beloved Irma with a icebag on her head and hot water bottle her feet. when Irma tells Jane that she feels that she is sick and Jane tries to tell Irma that she's not sick. so later on the episode Richard comes along and tells Jane that he has some exciting news for her she is going to be going on a business trip to Chicago. so as Jane leaves to get ready for her trip Irma opens up the balcony and sees their neighbor who is a little boy over at his house by himself. so the little boy tells Irma that he's sick but Irma doesn't believe him and invites a little boy over. so Jane returns home to find the little boy in their living room and knows that Irma invited the little boy over so Jane thinks that her and Irma have to quarantine the night before Jane goes on her trip. but unfortunately for Jane her beloved friend Irma keeps her up all night. later on that night a doctor comes to make a house call visit. when the doctor tells Jane that his son was making it up she calls Richard and well talking to Richard the doctor tells her that Irma is sick with the measles and it is called Irma get sick. in this next episode we find the girls once again discussing their futures with their boyfriends and their wedding day and how they're going to celebrate their honeymoon. so as the girls are talking Irma gets a phone call from her boyfriend Al. Al tells her that they can go to a matinee show on Broadway. so Irma is very excited to go with her boyfriend to the show. when all the sudden her plans change when misses O'Reilly tells Irma that her friend Amber has called her and tells her to give her a call back. so Irma's plans change and Jane ends up going with Al to the show. but later on the episode Irma finds out that Amber is getting married that afternoon and is held responsible for getting her wedding ring at Kay's jeweler. but Jane thinks that Irma has bought her own wedding ring and returns the money to the bank. but what Jane does not know is that she got herself in quite a pickle with Amber lipscot. and it is called Irma buys her own wedding ring. Mr radio himself Mr Elliot Lewis. Mr Lewis started his career out in 1936 at the age of 18 years old. he went on to produce write direct and act in many shows such as the Jack Benny program the Alice face show, the clock and many others. Mr Lewis is best known for his writing and producing and also directing many old time thriller shows such shows as the Whistler Arch obler's plays suspense and many others. Mr Lewis married his wife Miss Kathy Lewis who is best known as Miss Jane Stacy in the CBS comedy show my friend Irma. Mr and Mrs Lewis went on to direct produce and write and also start together in many episodes of suspense. before divorcing in 1958. only after 1 year of his divorce he met his second wife in 1959 while writing for the Lucy show Miss Mary Jane Croft who is also a famous actress. Mr Lewis and Miss Croft were married until Mr Lewis passed away in 1990 due to heart problems. but what a lot of people may not know is that Mr Lewis also served our great country during world war II producing many shows overseas for the armed radio forces Network until 1946. after his last known writing credit in the 1970s Mr Lewis went ahead and retired and became a well-known novelist for his detective series The Pinnacle which you can find on Amazon or your local bookstore. until he passed away even though Mr Lewis has been gone for more than 30 years his memory and legacy will live on in many of his shows. in this first episode he plays a man who is caught in a love-hate relationship with a woman and does the unthinkable by thinking that he'll end her life so that he can be free and it is called can't we be Friends. in this next episode Mr Lewis plays a man who is a well-known burglar and thief. and later on becomes a murderer by killing the victims of his crimes and it is called concerto for a killer. in this final episode from the old time radio show escape Mr Lewis plays a man who has written a horrifying biography about what is going to happen to him and the woman he is trying to save from these vicious people. a young lady picks up a notebook to write in and find the horrifying biography written in that notebook. it is called an evening primrose. hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy old Time radio podcast. please welcome back to the show the queen of comedy herself Ms Lucille Ball with Mr Richard Denning in the CBS comedy show my favorite husband. as we continue our women month presentation for the month of March. in this first episode we find Liz and George once again in an unpredictable situation when Liz has forgotten an important date with their friends to meet at their house. unfortunately for George he is tired of his wife's absent-mindedness. so one day George ends up setting an appointment for a psychiatrist for his wife Liz. so Liz goes to the appointment and the psychiatrist let's her know that he has an appointment on the same street that she lives on. so Liz offers to drive the doctor to his appointment. but Liz is absent-mindedness goes into overdrive when she forgets that her husband has the car. but she thinks it's stolen so the cops end up taking up George for stealing Liz's car. so George is so mad at Liz that Liz ends up faking it having amnesia to get herself out of trouble with him. so later on in the episode the car gets stolen once again for real this time. so the coopers go back to the police station. and Liz gets another visit from the psychiatrist. and it is called absent-mindedness. and then the next episode define the coopers once again contemplating their day. when all the sudden their phone rings and Liz is talking to the little boy that lives next door and he is playing a cops and robbers game with Mrs Cooper. so Liz goes on and plays with the little boy and then the little boy tries to get George to play along with him. so Liz ends up convincing George to play with the little boy and so did you and the little boy takes a pair of handcuffs and places them on the wrist of George and Liz. so when Liz wants to be free the little boy tells her that those aren't the toy handcuffs those are real handcuffs. so the Cooper's call the little boy's dad and his dad says that he doesn't know where the keys are for those handcuffs. so the coopers are unfortunately stuck together. so George goes to his job at the next day to meet up with his friend and boss Mr attaberry to meet up with an important client. but unfortunately Liz has to go with him to work. so finally a local locksmith finds a couple and unlock them. but Mrs Cooper tries to explain to Mr Attaberry what happened. and ends up recuffing her and George again. and it is called George and Liz get handcuffed. Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy Old time radio podcast please welcome to the Ms Eve Arden in the CBS comedy show Our Ms brooks.Our Miss Brooks was a hit on radio from the outset; within eight months of its launch as a regular series, the show landed several honors, including four for Eve Arden, who won polls in four individual publications of the time. Arden had actually been the third choice to play the title role. Harry Ackerman, at the time CBS's West Coast director of programming, wanted Shirley Booth for the part, but as he told historian Gerald Nachman many years later, he realized Booth was too focused on the underpaid downside of public school teaching at the time to have fun with the role. Lucille Ball was believed to have been the next choice, but she was committed to My Favorite Husband and did not audition. CBS then-chairman Bill Paley, who was friendly with Arden, persuaded her to audition for the part. With a slightly rewritten audition script—Osgood Conklin, for example, was originally written as a school board president, but was now written as the incoming new Madison principal—Arden agreed to give the newly revamped show a try.Produced by Larry Berns and written by director Al Lewis, Our Miss Brooks premiered on CBS on July 19, 1948. According to radio critic John Crosby, her lines were very "feline" in dialogue scenes with principal Conklin and would-be boyfriend Boynton, with sharp, witty comebacks. The interplay between the cast—blustery Conklin, nebbishy Denton, accommodating Harriet, absentminded Mrs. Davis, clueless Boynton, and scheming Miss Enright—also received positive reviews. Jeff Chandler played Boynton and stayed with the role for five years, even after becoming a movie star. He ultimately resigned because it was too exhausting to juggle a regular radio role with his film commitments.Others in the cast included Anne Whitfield as Conklin's daughter, Harriet. Arden won a radio listeners' poll by Radio Mirror magazine as the top-ranking comedienne of 1948–49, receiving her award at the end of an Our Miss Brooks broadcast that March. "I'm certainly going to try in the coming months to merit the honor you've bestowed upon me, because I understand that if I win this two years in a row, I get to keep Mr. Boynton", she joked. She was also a hit with the critics: a winter 1949 poll of newspaper and magazine radio editors taken by Motion Picture Daily named her the year's best radio comedienne.For its entire radio life, the show was sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive-Peet, promoting Palmolive soap, Lustre Creme shampoo, and Toni hair-care products. The radio series continued until 1957, a year after its television life ended. Miss Lucille Ball and Mr Richard Denning in the CBS comedy show my favorite husband. in this first episode we find Liz and George sitting and they're dining room eating dinner by candlelight when all the sudden George wants to turn on the lights so he can see Liz. but as he gets up from the table he ends up knocking over the salt shaker and Liz tells him to throw it over his shoulder. because if he doesn't he'll have bad luck and then she knocked on the wood table. so George ends up finding out that not only is his wife superstitious but Katie the maid is also superstitious. but one day a little girl who is their next door neighbor comes over for a visit and later on that day a cricket is heard chirping it drives George crazy. and Liz is getting tired of it too so they called the exterminator to get rid of the cricket but are unsuccessful. later on the little girl from next door stops by and ask the coopers if they've seen her pet cricket. and it is called superstition. and in this next episode we find the coopers have not gotten an invitation to be guest at the atterberries Halloween party. but unbeknownst to the coopers they do not know that the atterberries and all their closest friends are planning a surprise party for them. and it is called the Halloween surprise party. Jane says yes and Al agrees to pay for the dinner and the title of that episode is called dinner date. and in the next episode we find the girls spending time with each other walking down the street when all the sudden they are followed by a man. the man catches up with them and tells the girls that he is a photographer and head of the photographic department of Manhattan magazine. but Jane is skeptical and calls the magazine and finds out that the man is legitimate. so Jane has an appointment to meet with the photographer in her apartment that she shares with her roommate Irma. so Irma tries to help Jane get ready and ends up messing up. so Irma's boyfriend out comes over to help and the whole photo shoot is ruined for Jane. but Jane is in luck with the photographer. and the title of that episode is called Manhattan magazine. hi guys and welcome back to the mystery comedy Old Time radio podcast please welcome to the show this afternoon to chill our spines. writer,producer and later on in his career novelist Mr. J Donald Wilson. Mr Wilson started his career in the late 1930s as a voice actor and later on went to become an old time radio producer and writer. his best known old time radio show is called The Whistler. he was married to his wife who was a famous actress named Catherine. Mr Wilson and Catherine never had any children but were married from 1953 to 1984. both passing away 6 months from each other. even though Mr Wilson has been gone for more than 30 years his memory and lazy will live on forever. in this afternoon show Mr Wilson's production The Whistler comes to chill our spine. in this first episode we find a woman who is trapped between love and jealousy love for a man who doesn't love her back and jealousy for the woman who took him away from her. the woman becomes so obsessed with the man's wire that she does the unthinkable and kills her. but the guilt is overwhelming her and her business partner. until it all unravels right before her eyes. and the title of that episode is called The mirage. and in this next episode we find a man who is caught between depression and reality. a man named Henry who is overwhelmed by his business and becomes very depressed about it and then the depression becomes hatred towards anyone. Henry ends up giving in to his murderous urges. and the title of that episode is called the urge to kill. and then the final episode we find a young woman who has a wealthy aunt and uncle that have taken care of her goes off to college and leaves the nest. only to come back to her aunt and uncle's home to be married. her aunt is disgusted at her decision and tells her that if she does not end the marriage to the man. then she will be taken out of her aunt's will as she is the only heir to her aunt's estate. but unfortunately for the young girl she does not know that her husband does not want her to lose her inheritance. so he tries his hardness to scare her aunt so that when the aunt dies she will get her inheritance. but unfortunately for him his plan backfires on him. and it is called The alibi. hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy Old Time radio podcast. please join me this morning as I bring back to the show to chill our spines Mr Joseph Kearns. you may have heard Mr Kearns on my first episode that I did on him last Summer and if you haven't I would highly recommend going back and listening to that episode first. but this morning Mr Kearns comes back to the show to chill our spines in this first episode he plays a British doctor who has become a widow when his wife dies. the doctors who tried to save her don't know how she dies. the only one who knows is Dr Neil cream. after his wife's death he ends up moving to a boarding house and takes a room there he ends up falling for the boarding House managers daughter. but unfortunately for Dr Cream she does not like older man and wants to end the relationship so the doctor has an idea of how to stop her from seeing another man. he ends up putting something in her drink which ends up almost killing her. the title of that episode is called a story of poison. in this next episode Mr Joseph Kearns please a man who is returning from a day of work to his apartment one night and ends up finding his roommate dead with a knife in his back. when he's alone in his apartment he ends up falling in love with a very attractive woman. but unfortunately for him he does not know that she is the woman who killed his roommate. and it is from the mystery show The Whistler, the episode is called the lady with a knife. and then this final episode Mr Kern's plays a man who is mentally ill and who is suffering from a disease and rights a final letter before passing away. in this story the man thinks that he has killed someone but later on in the episode The doctors that work there no that's not true. and the title of that episode is called the earth is made of glass. hi guys and welcome back to mystery comedy Old Time radio podcast. please welcome back to the show Miss Marie Wilson and Kathy Lewis in the CBS comedy show my friend Irma created by Cy Howard and co-star life Erickson is Richard, John Brown is Al Hans Connery as professor Kurpopkin and Gloria Gordon as Mrs O'Reilly. in this first episode we find the girls in their apartment discussing the double date they had last night. when Irma insulted Richard and Richard insulting Irma. so neither of the couples are speaking to each other until the girls have an idea of a makeup dinner party so they can apologize to the boys. but when they're next door neighbor professor kurpopkin comes over for a visit and then Mrs O'Reilly the landlady comes over for a visit they are both lonely. so Irma has an idea of inviting the two over for dinner that night but unfortunately Jane does not like the idea because it will only cause more problems. but Irma goes anyways and the title of that episode is called double trouble. in this next episode we find the girls in their apartment as Jane is waiting by the phone for Richard to call so when Jane picks up the phone and realizes that it's Richard calling from Nebraska she answered the phone but instead of talking to Richard she is also talking to another person. the girls are on a party line so Jane after talking to Richard goes to the phone company to get a private line but the man tells her that he does not have any available equipment but he'll try to get one installed for anyways. but Irma and Al have an idea of their own if Irma can go to the phone company and say that she has a legitimate business then they could get a private phone line in their home. but Irma ends up having egg thrown in her face when she tells the man the wrong thing. so the phone company cuts their phone service off. but Al has a plan for both of them when they get back to the apartment. to full Jane they act like they're speaking to someone on the phone but later on Jane comes to find out that the phone is not working. and the title of that episode is called to buy or sell. welcome back to the mystery comedy Old Time radio podcast. please welcome to the show this afternoon to chill our spines and put us in dramatic pause two iconic actresses of the 20th century and the beginning stages of Hollywood Miss Joan Crawford and Miss Betty Davis in the feud. these two iconic actresses or best known for portraying in many movies such as lady in the night Jezebel sudden fear All about Eve and many others. but what a lot of people may not know is that these two iconic actresses brought the best out of each other into movies the first one in the 1962 film whatever happened to baby Jane and the 1964 film hush hush sweet Charlotte. but what people may not know that these two iconic actresses had a real life feud with each other the reason why it started was because Joan Crawford had slept with one of Betty Davis's long time Hollywood crushes and Betty Davis would stop at nothing to to make Joan Crawford's career slip through the cracks. but also guys just to let you know that two iconic actresses of our time Miss Jessica Lange and Miss Susan sarandon played Joan Crawford and Betty Davis in the 2017 FX TV series the feud and if you haven't seen that I would highly recommend going and seeing that first season. the next season will be coming out next year in October of 2022. but these two iconic actresses have won several awards in many nominations. but also these two iconic actresses appeared behind the microphone in such starring roles in lux radio theater suspense on screen and many others. but these two ladies bring their old time radio performances to the show today. in this first episode starring Joan Crawford she plays a woman who has married a man who is 19 years younger than she is but to her age has no difference. but her husband ends up leaving her for another woman that he's had an affair with and breaks their marriage up. so she goes through the house and breaks every single thing that they bought over the years of marriage and has three words that she repeats in her mind and out loud until her revenge is satisfied. it is called three lethal words. and then next episode Miss Joan Crawford plays a woman who has been living a doll's life throughout her childhood and in her marriage life so to keep her life intact she has to try her best to avoid ruining her husband's reputation in the banking industry and the title of that episode is called a doll's house which appeared on Lux radio theater. enemies next to episodes starring Miss Betty Davis in this first one she plays a set of twins who have gone on a trip together to purchase a boat but one of the twins falls in love and then one day tragedy strikes as one of the twins ends up dying in an accident. so the other sister blames herself and is devastated by her sister dying. but the man that one of the twins had fallen in love with ends up falling for the other twin to make her feel better and to let her know that accident was not her fault. and it is called a life stolen and it appeared on the luxe radio theater program. and in this next episode Miss Betty Davis plays a woman who has lost her family and only has friends that she goes out to eat with and they always eat at One restaurant together. but two times she tries the restaurant by herself after working a long night at her job. the first night she feels uncomfortable and leaves part of her meal. and the next time she comes back The Young cook and owner named Harry has put something in her food and ends up kidnapping her. and it is called good night Mrs Russell and it appeared on the old time radio show suspense. He appeared in 30 Broadway plays and more than 100 films during a 50-year career and is best remembered for his tough-guy roles as gangsters in such films as Little Caesar and Key Largo. but what a lot of people may not know is that Mr Edward G Robinson also appeared behind the microphone in such shows as suspense lux radio theater and many others. but today Mr Robinson reenacts two of his suspense performances. in this first episode he plays a man who has been a bachelor for so many years since his mother passed away. that he has made people believe that he is married to a beautiful woman named Geraldine. and it is called my wife Geraldine and in the second episode Mr Robinson plays a married man who is just a local truck driver and stops at a bar to get himself a drink before returning home. when all the sudden him and his wife start arguing about money he tries to calm himself down by listening to the radio. but his wife does not like it when all the sudden he turns the radio back on he hears a news broadcast about his death. but his wife does not believe it and neither does he. when a detective calls the house his wife answers the phone and believes it to be a prank. but when they're beloved friend and lawyer calls the house. and tells her that he has over $10,000 in life insurance benefits and that she is his beneficiary if he passes away. but he's not dead so she has a plan for them to get the money if he leaves for about 6 months she'll call him with more details. but the separation takes longer than he was expecting. so he calls his wife and he hears a man in the background and realizes that his marriage is over. and it is called you can't die twice. From her early days and joining the global Hash House runners to running 3 world majors (VLM x 5, Berlin with me and NYC) and a lot more besides, Kathy certainly embraces a running challenge. During lockdown, Kathy has undertaken a number of virtual challenges including virtually from John O'Groats to Land's End and is currently taking part in the Route 66 Challenge that is a total of 2278 miles. yes, she really runs a lot!!!!!!!! Mrs Cathy Lewis is most identified as the sensibly droll secretary Jane Stacy rooming with scatterbrained Irma Peterson (Marie Wilson) in the 1947–54 radio and television comedy My Friend Irma. In recognition of her work as Jane Stacy, she received the Ideal Secretary Award from the Executive Secretaries Club in 1948. She would play Jane Stacy until 1949 taking some time off from September 1948 and through the rest of the season due to overwork. She appeared on Sam Spade and I Love a Mystery. She worked with and publicly assessed the radio performances of some of the greatest screen talents of the day, including Gregory Peck, Joan Crawford, Joseph Cotten, June Havoc, and Humphrey Bogart. Lewis met actor Elliott Lewis (who had the same surname) when they recorded at The Woodbury Playhouse on November 6, 1940.On April 30, 1943, while Elliott was on leave from the Army, they married at Chapman Park Hotel in Los Angeles. Elliott's uncle Eddie Raiden was best man. Together, the couple worked on such old time radio classics as Voyage of the Scarlet Queen and Suspense. They earned a combined income of $90,000 per year. Both Lewises were staples of vintage American radio in numerous, genre-spanning works in comedy and drama (they were, for example, regulars among what was known as Hollywood's Radio Row group of performers, appearing often--together and separately--on such programs as The Whistler),especially their co-creation of the anthology series On Stage. Together they wrote an episode of Suspense titled "The Thirteenth Sound" that aired in 1947 and an episode of Twelve Players titled "Checkerboard" that aired in 1948.The Lewises separated on their fourteenth anniversary, and Lewis filed for divorce, on the grounds of mental cruelty. The divorce was granted on April 16, 1958.Most of her film work in the 1940s was in uncredited bit parts. She recreated her My Friend Irma role on television for the show's first two seasons, but, overworked and tired of the role, left the show in 1953. She had a supporting role in The Party Crashers (1958), a film now noted as the final screen appearances of troubled legend Frances Farmer and former child star Bobby Driscoll. That same year, she and Elliott Lewis divorced, putting an end to their image as "Mr. and Mrs. Radio." My Friend Irma, is a media franchise that was spawned by a top-rated, long-running radio situation comedy created by writer-director-producer Cy Howard. The radio show was so popular in the late 1940s that its success escalated the films, television, a comic strip and a comic book that comprise the franchise. Marie Wilson portrayed the title character Irma Peterson on radio, in two films and the television series. The radio series was broadcast on CBS from April 11, 1947 to August 23, 1954. Cathy Lewis plays Jane Stacy Irma's roommate from 1947 until early 1949 and quit the show due to an illness. Then Ms Joan banks played Jane and then played later by Ms Mary Shipp until 1953. Jane's boyfriend Richard rylander played by Leif Ericson and he is a very successful businessman but unfortunately Irma's boyfriend Al played by John Brown is a bum who is a very unsuccessful businessman he tries a variety of get rich quick schemes that never work out. He becomes very dependent on Irma to be a big success. So he can mooch off Irma's money. Today's episodes the first one is called the lucky couples contest when Irma is going to be joining Jane for lunch she and Jane are looking at the bridal gown store and Irma is daydream about her wedding day with Al so Jane helps Irma write to a radio contest.And the second episode is called billy boy. Mister hope also entertain the troops his uso tours started in 1934 and ended in 1972. He entertained the troops during world war II ,Korea and the Vietnam war. And in 1997 the US Congress made mr. Bob Hope a decorated army veteran for his 52 years of entertaining our troops. Mr Bob Hope and his wife Dolores had five children and have six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. When Mr Bob Hope retired in 1991 he enjoyed his retirement until passing away an 2003 at the age of 100. Mr. hope will always be remembered for his acting singing dancing but most of all for his comedic performance in always making people laugh. I hope you guys enjoy mr. She started her career in 1938 doing a variety of odd jobs for CBS before writing for old time radio plays. Two of her most famous radio. The first one is called The Hitchhiker which was performed by mr. Orson Welles. And the second one which is one of Miss Lucille Fletcher's best radio play which appeared on the big screen in 1948 it's called sorry wrong number. It starred famous actress Miss Agnes moorehead. She also went on later on in her career to become a screenwriter for four other famous movies and later on became a novelist. Miss Lucille Fletcher enjoyed her career and spending time with her family until passing away in the year 2000 at the age of 88 years old. but tonight miss Lucille Fletcher comes to the show to chill our spines. In this first episode which appeared on suspense it is called dark journey and stars Ms Kathy Lewis and Miss Nancy Kelly. In this episode a woman is traveling on a train to see a friend who she has not seen In over 15 years. And in the second episode it is called the nightman. In this episode a young girl goes to a prison to make sure her mothers murderer is still locked up. Because for the past 10 years she has been struggling getting past her mother's death. But unbeknownst to her she does not know that the murderer is closer than she thinks. In this final episode which stars Mr Elliott Lewis it is called bad dreams which appeared on the old time radio program the clock. Today, Erik gives a quick update on some of the things he's been working on in the company recently. Things have changed for him on a personal level: In the beginning, Erik was involved in every aspect of the company but as the team has gotten larger, they've hired specialists that can take on the different services that we offer and focus on those areas which means Erik feels he's not as needed. But he still comes into the office every day despite feeling like he doesn't need to because there's always somewhere he can lend a hand. Nowadays he focuses on 3 different areas and operations really isn't one of them except when it comes to internal, cultural issues. Even though the team is who interacts with clients externally, he plays a hand in the things that happen internally. He's also made a point of getting in front of his clients on a regular basis; seeing 2-3 clients every week, writing them letters, taking them out to lunch, understanding what's going on in their business, etc. The third thing is prospecting; even though he doesn't have to because we now have a full-time sales guy who prospects most of the time. But with the desire to grow the company to $100 million, Erik realizes this isn't a one-man job and does that as well. Right now we have the ability to leverage 3 people in the company: Glen, our full-time salesman, Kevin, and Erik.
