Should there be penalties for quarterbacks who pretend to go out of bounds like Patrick Mahomes?Garafolo shares his opinions on the Ryan Grubb situation. Is it justified that his job status is being discussed? Are the Eagles the best team in football? Who are the Bears targeting as their new coach for Caleb Williams? Are the Lions running out of gas? Would Kyle Shanahan be an option with the Bears? Are the 49ers now done or do they have another run in them?Who will win the NFC West? Does Mike like Seattle or Arizona?Michael-Shawn Dugar, “The Dugar Report” checks in with Jason “Puck” Puckett and they jump right into the Ryan Grubb discussion. Why are the Seahawks struggling so much offensively, especially in short yardage situations? is it fair to question Grubb and fair to think he's auditioning for his job in the final five weeks of the season? Is the biggest problem with Grubb or the fact that his offensive line has struggled this season? Dugar shares his thoughts on how dominant the defense has played recently and they are showing right now why they went out and got Mike Macdonald. Do the Seahawks have three more wins in them to get to 10 wins and win the division? The health of the football team, especially with special teams is in question, what happens if they can't go? Lastly, “Hey, What the Puck!?” Time is now to trade Luis Castillo. The market for starting pitchers is crazy and Castillo is one of the best. Trade from your strength of your team.
The “Dugar Report” with Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic as he joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his brand new weekly appearance taking the latest with the Seattle Seahawks. Mike and Puck get right into the win over the 49ers and what was the single biggest reason for the win. Mike told Puck that Mike Macdonald offered a different tone than what Pete Carroll would always preach. It was great to have Abe Lucas back on the field and you could tell immediately that he was a difference maker and he raised the play of the entire offensive line. Geno Smith continues to be hot topic with fans and media and showed again with his last second drive why he continues to be such a polarizing topic and player. Mike gets into a very interesting discussion with Puck on the team building philosophy of Mike Macdonald and how it's different than the rest of the league thinking and how it harkens back to an older style of football.

Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his weekly chat about all the news and notes around the NFL. Puck and Mike get temporarily distracted because they start talking about golf and who they would like to play if they could choose anyone in the golf world! Once they stop talking about golf, they get into the Seahawks win over the 49ers and how important that was for Seattle and how crushing it was for San Francisco. Amazingly the Seahawks will be playing for first place in the NFC West on Sunday. They react to Geno Smith's appearance on the Richard Sherman Podcast. How much do the Seahawks need Smith and how much does Geno need the Seahawks?Where will Aaron Rogers end up next season? Any chance he could land in San Francisco? Will there be a number of suitors for him?Are Deion Sanders and his son a package deal to the NFL? If they are, where? Was the Bills win over the Chiefs important? Did the Steelers once again offer the blueprint how to beat Lamar Jackson and the Ravens? The “Dugar Report” with Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic as he joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his brand new weekly appearance taking the latest with the Seattle Seahawks. Mike and Puck get right into the win over the 49ers and what was the single biggest reason for the win. Happiness is being where you are and in the present.
It's been 664 days since the Horvat trade—what's the next potential controversial move for the Canucks? Could Demko, Boeser, or Hoglander be on the line? Former NHLer and Islanders colour analyst Butch Goring joins to break down the Isles' season, Sorokin's Vezina-caliber resurgence, and what the team needs to reach the next level. Then, Michael Shawn-Dugar stops by to analyze the Seahawks' recent struggles, preview their big test against the 49ers, and discuss Geno Smith's future in Seattle: can he lead the team long-term, or are changes on the horizon? On today's Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett chats with his weekly guest, Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network and Michael-Shawn Dugar from The Athletic stops by for the “Opponent Preview.” Puck opened up the show reacting to yesterday's show with Rob Staton, from SeahawksDraftBlog.com. This was a miserable offseason for John Schneider, but how do they go about fixing it this offseason? Some tough decisions will have to be made on current players. But so far with Schneider running the ship it's been rocky. Puck turns his attention to the Huskies and wonders why they would keep playing Will Rogers at quarterback and not hand the reigns over to Demond Williams. he plays a soundbite from his show with Elise Woodward and Jordan Reffett, “Puck the Huskies” asking them that very question. Is making a bowl game that big of a deal? Can you believe what Mariners GM Justin Hollander said about Mitch Garver and Mitch Haniger?? Puck reacts to that and the report that the Mariners are interested in bringing back Justin Turner. Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his weekly conversation. Mike has pulled off on the side of the road as he is traveling to Philly to cover Thursday night football between the Eagles and the Commanders. Puck asked Mike a hypothetical question about whether or not Seahawks fans would switch Mike Macdonald and Ryan Grubb for Dan Quinn and Kliff Kingsbury…but, Puck says you have to add Jayden Daniels! That question leads to the discussion with the Bears and Caleb Williams. Who will be the next coach of the Bears? They obviously have to hire an offensive minded coach. Would Lincoln Riley of USC be the perfect fit? What is wrong with the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones? Also, Mike and Puck would be thrilled to see Deion Sanders land with the Cowboys…Amazing theater! Finally, Puck asks Mike, what is wrong with his Seahawks and what is going on with John Schneider? Is he equipped to truly run this thing?Michael Shawn-Dugar, The Athletic. @MikeDugar. Co-Host of “Seahawks-Man-2-Man Podcast” joined Jason “Puck” Puckett from the “Opponent Preview.” Mike and Puck discussed the offseason by Seahawks GM John Schneider. How much of it was a failure and do they have enough resources to fix the problem? Why does the organization have an issue with drafting offensive lineman? Is it a philosophical problem or coaching issue? If the team continues to lose would it be better for them to lose out to raise their draft position or finish strong so they know the switch they made with the head coach was the right move?Should the Seahawks consider trading D.K. Metcalf and consider moving on from Geno Smith in the offseason? Finally, Puck wraps up with, “Hey, What the Puck!?” Lebron James is not human and is a cyborg! Appreciate what he is doing at his age. You'll never see it again.
