The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions after a COMPLETE defensive domination of the New England Patriots. Peter Klein breaks down every angle of the big game.SEAHAWKS DEFENSE WAS HISTORIC: One of the best defensive performances you'll ever see. Had Drake Maye seeing ghosts—even when there wasn't pressure coming, he felt like he was under it. Completely shut down the run (Stevenson and Henderson getting nothing until garbage time). Mixed things up brilliantly—didn't go Eagles 2024 with zero blitzes, but still getting there with four rushers regularly. That Witherspoon blitz was LETHAL.WILL CAMPBELL WAS A DISASTER: Pretty sure I heard him say on draft night "I'd die for Drake Maye"—but my memory must be off, because clearly he said "I'm going to get Drake Maye killed." Completely dominated all game and all playoffs. So now what? Not a great OT free agent class, five OTs with first-round grades on ESPN's board but no clear solution. He just has to get better.PATRIOTS PLAY CALLING FAILED MAYE: Everyone saw this was a problem all playoffs and all season when tested. How was Plan A "run the offense as normal" and Plan B "hope Plan A works?" Zero creativity, zero movement off his spot, zero threat of a run. When breaking down this game, the one area where NE could give Seattle problems was Maye extending plays with his legs. But they didn't even create the THREAT of a rollout, so Seattle's defense locked in on a statue. They did NOTHING to slow this pass rush.PATRIOTS COACHING HAD A TOUGH DAY:Not going for two (could've made it an 11-point game) was a mistakeDidn't help Maye with creativityDidn't go for it on 4th downAll understandable given how dominant Seattle was—even on 4th and 2 you probably weren't getting itThey were hoping old Sam Darnold would show up and give them life. He never did.MAYE DIDN'T HELP HIMSELF: He could have rolled out and run on his own—he had no leash. He looked overwhelmed. You could see him looking behind him constantly, aware of the rush. His first read seemed to be his left tackle, THEN his progressions. And when he WASN'T under pressure, he missed throws. You can understand being off with everything he was dealing with, but they needed him to be better.BACK TO SEATTLE: Kenneth Walker III was ELECTRIC. Said going in that if he gets going there's no stopping this team—he was fantastic. Patient, explosive, effective all game. That O-line dominated. Love to see him get his moment, especially with Charbonnet injured.Darnold was solid—avoided the back-breaking turnover that could've given NE life. Game managed perfectly, which is exactly what the situation called for. A couple throws just missing from having a monster game. Christian Gonzalez saved a couple of bomb TDs—was the Patriots' best player all game.Kupp was exactly what they needed—calming everything down. With NE taking JSN away, Kupp stepped up with important catches to keep drives moving.OTHER SUPER BOWL NOTES:Bad Bunny halftime show: Didn't know any songs, didn't understand any of it—but SO well produced and just a genuinely fun vibeBroadcast crew CRUSHED IT: Collinsworth was on top of his game and Tirico showed why he's one of the best⏱️ Full Super Bowl breakdown

The Dynasty Nerds crew is back with their monthly Risers and Fallers episode, and the conversation got heated. Rich Dotson, Garret Price, and Jagger May debated which players are climbing the dynasty rankings and which ones are plummeting after the AFC and NFC Championship games. Trevor Lawrence topped the risers list as the unanimous number one. With Liam Coen's offense and a loaded receiving corps, Rich declared him an elite dynasty asset at just 26 years old. Jaxson Dart landed at number two, with John Harbaugh bringing stability to the Giants and Malik Nabers returning from injury. Colston Loveland rounded out the top three, cementing himself as a top five tight end after his playoff breakout. On the falling side, CJ Stroud was the unanimous number one faller. Rich went on a legendary rant, calling him overvalued for years and predicting he could slide even further when the elite 2027 quarterback class arrives. JJ McCarthy and Zach Charbonnet also took hits, with McCarthy facing competition rumors and Charbonnet dealing with a devastating ACL injury. Explore more tools and resources to stay ahead of your league.

Mike MacDonald spoke to the media yesterday and gave his thoughts on turnover differential, Puka Nacua and the health of his quarterback. Sam isn't taking all the reps in practice and we are ok with that. Puka is a force, can the Seahawks defense stop him from getting 200+ yards again? Seattle has a positive turnover differential in every game except against the Rams, is MacDonald concerned about that? :30- MIKE SANDO (The Athletic) What's going to determine this outcome on Sunday? Ken Walker is the guy now that Charbonnet is out- can he handle the workload? Does Mike give Jarrett Stidham a chance to pull off the win over the Patriots? Does Sando have any belief in the Patriots? What's going on in Buffalo? :45- We close out the show with one last thing! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Also: Let's go Sean Payton - do it again!
We have your Championship contenders set. For the NFC title the Seattle Seahawks face the Los Angeles Rams. For the AFC the New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos. But how did we get here? Where is Josh Allen gone? Didn't we have the Chicago Bears too? We dive into all the games from the divisional round and get you up to speed on what defined those games, then turn our eyes on the Championship matchups. Can Seattle establish the run without Charbonnet? Will the Broncos be able to compete without Bo Nix? Will Drake Maye shut down the community centre or can the kids raise enough money to stop him from demolishing it to build a ski resort? We answer theses, and several far more relevant questions, amongst the usual nonsense and news from around the league. All this and more on your one stop shop for news, views and overreactions to all things NFL, The All Four Quarters Podcast!
Brock and Salk talk through options that the Seahawks will lean on at running back in the absence of Zach Charbonnet. They then listen in to some calls from 49ers fans on San Francisco radio who are furious about the 49ers and the playoff loss. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at where Charbonnet's absence will be felt the most this Sunday, a Sam Darnold factor that he and Mark Schlereth see the same way and how NIL and the Transfer Portal have ended a dynasty.
Bob and Dave break down the dominate win over the 49ers, they discuss the Bills firing of head coach Dave Mcdermott and the Lions hiring of former Cardinals OC Drew Petzing as their new offensive corrdinator in Take Two, they talk about Sam Darnolds performance and they discuss the affects of not having Charbonnet.

Indiana completes one of the best stories ever in sports and wins the National Championship in Miami last night. It was hard not to root for the Hoosiers who went from the worst team in college football to the best in just 2 years under Curt Cignetti. Mendoza didn't have one his typical games and Miami gave Indiana everything they had, but it still wasn't enough as the Hoosier grabbed their first ever National Championship. :30- MIKE GASTINEAU joins the show live from Miami after last night's National Championship. We get to hear what this amazing ride has been like for die-hard Indiana fans. :45- Zach Charbonnet is now out for the season after a torn ACL, so at this point it's all Walker. The season was spent splitting carries between the two and protecting Walker's lingering foot issue, but now it's time to go. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Richard Sherman breaks down the Seattle Seahawks’ dominant defensive performance and the San Francisco 49ers’ lack of urgency in a hard-fought NFC West battle. Sherm analyzes Kenneth Walker, Charbonnet, Sam Darnold’s mistake-free football, Mike Macdonald’s scheme, and why Seattle looks like the true No. 1 seed in the NFC. Sherman also dives into Christian McCaffrey’s key drop, the 49ers’ struggles stopping the run, playoff scenarios, and what this loss means for Brock Purdy, Kyle Shanahan, and a potential 49ers-Eagles rematch. Plus breakdowns of the Panthers–Buccaneers finish, NFC South chaos, and a preview of Ravens–Steelers on Sunday Night Football. If you love elite defense, playoff breakdowns, and real football insight, you’re in the right place. All lines provided by Hard Rock Bet. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Seahawks defense put on a clinic against the Panthers, suffocating Carolina's offense and consistently pressuring Bryce Young. The defense limited Young to less than 60 yards through the air and Julian Love picked off Young once. Rico Dowdle actually had more yards on the ground by himself than the entire passing offense. Zach Charbonnet's 122 yards nearly eclipsed the Panthers 139 total yards and his two touchdowns would have been all the offense they needed. Ultimately, the Seahawks 27-10 victory keeps them on pace to win the NFC West and take the top seed heading into the playoffs. There is one unlikely scenario that could lock up the top spot by Tuesday, but a Niners loss to the Bears could make next week's matchup relatively meaningless for San Fran. There was a long portion of the game that Sean McVay was wiping the floor with Mike Maconald. How did Macdonald turn things around late in that second half? We hear from Mike Macdonald on Zach Charbonnet's 'two-point conversion' on the backwards pass that tied the game. RUNDOWN We're celebrating the start of Year 8 of Mitch Unfiltered! Mitch checks in from Las Vegas—oddly with zero urge to gamble—while Hotshot breaks down his old roulette system and the painful bad beat that once drove him out of Vegas for years. Mitch and Hotshot geek out over the new Eddie Murphy documentary, then Mitch tells his favorite 10-seconds-of-fame story — yelling a deep-cut sketch line to Murphy at a 1985 stand-up show and getting singled out from the stage. They pivot to the Seahawks' 30–24 "no-win" win in Nashville, weighing how worried to be about letting a 30–10 lead shrink, while marveling at Jaxon Smith-Njigba's obscene pace (already breaking the single-season franchise yardage mark in 11 games) and explaining why Rams-Bucs, common opponents, and divisional records mean Seattle may need both a win over the 49ers and help from the lowly Cardinals to take the NFC West. Steve Phillips joins Mitch to unpack Seattle's near–World Series run — from Julio Rodríguez's late-season surge to the Game 7 choices that doomed the Mariners, including pulling George Kirby too early and avoiding Andrés Muñoz in the highest-leverage spot. He explains why modern analytics can mislead managers, why Aaron Judge rightfully edged Cal Raleigh for MVP despite East Coast conspiracy theories, and why extending Josh Naylor was the right call even if the back-end years sting. Brady and Jacson join Mitch to break down Seattle's 30–24 win over the Titans — a game that was far closer than it should've been against the NFL's worst roster. They dissect the defensive lapses (two long late TD drives, missed tackles, fatigue), Sam Darnold's clean but risky performance (a couple near-picks, heavy JSN dependence), and a quietly emerging run game anchored by Walker and Charbonnet. Rick Neuheisel joins Mitch to reset the entire college football landscape heading into rivalry week — from Washington's shot at a season-defining upset over Oregon to the seismic consequences of an eight-win finish versus nine. He breaks down the transfer-portal era attrition at programs like UCLA, the SEC's multi-team playoff math (with Alabama's "brand advantage"), and why chaos in Austin, Baton Rouge, and Oxford could reshape the playoff bracket if Lane Kiffin jumps jobs before December 3rd. Munaf and Lonte get into NFL week 11 player props. Munaf and Lonte break down NFL Week 11 props on the Dream Preview: Munaf hosts with guest Lonte filling in for Sleepy J. They discuss the ugly Thursday game and move to QB props. Lonte's QB pick: Josh Allen over ~219 pass yards vs Tampa, noting Buffalo's bounce-back spot, Tampa's recent defensive struggles (Goff 241, Mac 347, Darnold 341, Maye 270) and Buffalo leaning pass-heavy. Munaf's QB pick: Jacoby Brissett over 236.5 pass yards vs SF based on four straight overs (320/279/261/258), injuries to Cards WRs, weak SF pass defense, and expected negative script. RB props: Lonte takes Kenneth Walker under 44.5 rush yards vs SF citing inconsistent workload, Charbonnet usage, SF run D, and poor matchup for Walker's style. Munaf takes Jalen Warren over 101.5 rush+rec yards vs CIN after 158 last meeting, consistent recent volume, CIN giving up 141 rush yards + 44 receiving to RBs. WR/TE props: Lonte pivots to TE Brock Bowers over 70.5 yards vs Dallas due to mismatch vs DAL LBs, expected target spike, and previous big bounce-back after a one-catch game. Munaf backs Jaylen Waddle over 78.5 vs Washington (recent 95/99/82/84 games, WAS secondary allowing 178 to WRs, Waddle's YAC and target expectation). Lonte doubles with Dalton Schultz over his receiving yards AND anytime TD vs TEN, referencing strong Mills-Schultz connection, 11 targets last week, red-zone usage, and TEN allowing TE production. Munaf plays Zach Ertz over 43.5 yards vs Miami (recent 46/54, Dolphins allowing 71 to TEs, WAS injuries, 5+ targets in 4 of 5). TD props: Lonte—Schultz. Munaf—Pat Freiermuth +230, Jonnu Smith +230, Ladd McConkey +155, and Aaron Jones +135. They plug the Pregame contests and Ready50 promo. Agreed best bet: Joe Flacco over 255.5 pass yards vs PIT; Steelers have been shredded by QBs (4 of prior 5 over 340 yards), Flacco threw 342 vs PIT in TNF matchup, comes off 470-yard game, has Chase/Higgins/Chase Brown, Bengals airing it out 45+ attempts often, extra rest helps shoulder. Kick off the week with Dynasty Nerds' risers and fallers episode, where we react to the biggest value shifts from Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season in Week 1. We highlight Javonte Williams' explosive debut with the Cowboys, which boosts his appeal for contenders. Additionally, we discuss Daniel Jones' efficient takeover with the Colts, positioning him as a sneaky QB2 buy, and Emeka Egbuka's immediate impact with the Buccaneers, scoring twice and indicating a potential WR1 trajectory. On the other side, we analyze Tua Tagovailoa's disappointing performance with the Dolphins, raising concerns about a possible blowup. We also look at Kenneth Walker's challenges with a timeshare alongside Zach Charbonnet in Seattle, and Kaleb Johnson's benching with the Steelers amid the emergence of Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren. Hosts Rich, Garret, and Jagger explore buy-low opportunities, like the potential value of post-hype Javonte Williams, concerns about panic selling Tua amid issues with Mike McDaniel, and Charbonnet's growing role in the ground-and-pound game. We also mention other players worth noting, such as Quentin Johnston's quiet rise, Dylan Sampson's PPR upside, and Isaiah Pacheco's split role with the Chiefs, which is affecting his value. Additionally, we provide injury updates on Xavier Worthy, George Kittle, Drake London, Evan Engram, Brock Bowers, and Jauan Jennings, while keeping an eye on backups like Jalen Royals, Ricky Pearsall, and RJ Harvey. Tune in for insights on trade targets, rebuilding strategies, and adjustments for contenders to capitalize on the early-season chaos. Fantasy Roster Rescue: Get your Roster Rescued! RUNDOWN Not a roast but a convo about Taylor Swift's appearance with the Kelce brothers. Maybe some Kylie vs. Taylor banter, and Billy Joel's new documentary. Mitch and Hotshot run through notable August 18th birthdays and remembrances before spotlighting historic sports moments—from George Brett's chase for .400 to Earl Campbell's retirement and Rich Beem's upset of Tiger Woods. Then a little Beatles-in-Seattle tour lore. From there, the show jumps into Ed Sullivan's power to launch music careers, including the Commodores' near-miss. The Mariners' playoff push and the Seahawks' preseason promise. Mitch praises the offensive line and Sam Darnold's sharp play, while Hotshot keeps him grounded with the refrain: “It's the preseason.” The duo even dream on a Trey Hendrickson trade. The Mariners No-Table crew dives into a tough 2–4 stretch against Baltimore and New York, citing both rotation struggles and lineup issues, while finding optimism in Bryce Miller's return and Brian Wu's consistency. Gino Suarez's slump and playoff rotation questions loom large, as bold predictions fly for the Phillies and A's series. Brady Henderson of ESPN joins to break down Uchenna Nwosu's return, the unlikely Hendrickson trade scenario, Jake Bobo's breakout, and Clint Kubiak's offensive reboot. He also highlights Zach Charbonnet's growing role, Sam Darnold's fit in the new scheme, and the roster battles heating up ahead of Week 1. KJ-Aren'ts—Mitch and Jason Puckett banter over podcast quirks, golf habits, chowder debates in the heat, and family traditions. The conversation winds into nostalgic territory with Christmas memories and video game firsts, from Pong to Nintendo.
