This Episode was recorded late in my December 2008 trip to Walt Disney World, this was after Mousefest, and it was also the one day that my wife, Carlene, chose to join me in the parks. Since she had been in a lot of pain when walking for a while leading up to the trip she used an ECV this day, which worked out well as otherwise I would have not been able to cover so much ground going back and forth around World Showcase. I had a schedule for the World Showcase Players and knew coming into the park when they were performing, butwhat I did not know was which times were for thier "regular material" and which sets they would be doing thier special Holiday skit A Christmas Carol. So when they did their first set of the day I was there but they were performing King Arthur and the Holy Grail so we got the set times for A Christmas Carol and continued on our way. Working our way all the way around to Mexico before putting it into reverse and working our way back to the United Kingdom for this afternoon set.
This Episode was recorded early in my December 2008 trip to Walt Disney World, this was the "split day" of Mousefest, in fact this was the last thing I did before leaving Disney's Animal Kingdom for Disney's Hollywood Studios. links The WDWNT family of sites can be found at:http://wdwnt.com/The Let's Talk About Disney Forums: http://www.letstalkaboutdisney.com/LTADForum/index.phpThe Mousin it up! subsection of LTAD http://www.letstalkaboutdisney.com/LTADForum/forumdisplay.php?f=64The Yahoo group for the bigbrian-nc.com site and NC Disney news is at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disneypodcast/Steve Soares fine site of WDW entertainment schedules: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ Note: since they did not turn off the speakers of the nearby Background Music, you can hear it a bit (in the background) of this set, but most of the time the Percussion overwhelms it. This Episode was recorded on the last day of my December 2008 trip to Walt Disney World, Mousefest was over, and I decided to end this trip in the same park in which I started the trip, enjoying some of the great live entertainment found in the Magic Kingdom. This was one of many Christmas oriented sets I recorded last year that I didn't manage to get out before Christmas.
In this episode, recorded during Mousefest 2008, we drop in at Camp Minnie-Mickey at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and listen in as a talented Disney cast member makes the day of many of the guests who stop to listen to him. Meandering Mouse and Meandering Mouse Club TV-(AUDIO and VIDEO) Disney Park Fun
Meandering Mouse Club TV - Disney Park Video Adventures from Around the World! Walt Disney World Produced in association with Frikitiki Productions. This is the third of three parts I'll be sharing my memories of Mousefest 2007. The videos will cover the entire trip from departure in Honolulu to departure in Orlando. While you don't quite get it all (I have 18 hours of video) you'll get a sampling of what a time Mousefest is between Mousefest activities and activities at the Walt Disney World Resort itself. We'll ride roller coasters, boats, and monorails. We'll interact with Streetmosphere (love ya Rosie!)and find out about werewolves! See the coolest audio-anamatroic in the whole world, visit with some neighbors in the Disney neighborhood, check out resorts, watch a bazillion parades and lighting of gazillions of beautiful lights, see story tellers around Epcot and experience several magical moments during the trip. Did I say 101? Well maybe...maybe not. Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah, gag on everyone's most favoritist drink in all the world!! About the only thing these three videos don't have is the Kitchen Sink (ate one of those by myself in August 2006...Don't believe me, check out my flickr pictures Kitchen Sink set) This video covers my last day on the trip after the official end of Mousefest. For me, this has been the best day ever that I spent at a Disney park. It was a totally relaxed day. Even though I did a lot, it wasn't a totally blow out rushed day. I love the streetmosphere over at Disney MGM Studios, now the Disney Hollywood Studios and some of my funnest experiences are captured here. Starting at the Studios, going over to Epcot and then finishing up at the Polynesian, this was just an awesome day. I hope you enjoyed hanging out with me on my Mousefest 2007 trip experience. Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007. I just returned from a trip to Disneyland during the Christmas season. After being to both locations for the US parks, Disney is special, but while they are decorated for Christmas and the holidays it's a whole new experience. I would encourage you to check out either Orlando or Anaheim during December. Sharing that experience with other Disney fans during an event like Mousefest just makes you want to go WOW! Speaking of being with other Disney fans, mark April 30 thru May 3, 2009 to be at the DPN Westfest event at the place where it all started, Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Come out and join your favorite DPN podcasters in the park that Walt himself walked. Hope to see you there! Please rate the podcast at I-Tunes. The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station
Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello and this is show #94 for the week of November 23, 2008. In News from Walt Disney World this week, we’ll look at the Christmas Day Parade taping schedule, new dining offerings in the parks, a new way to celebrate your child’s birthday, and the new, ultimate thrill ride at Walt Disney World. December brings us not just the holiday season and a great time to visit Walt Disney World, but the annual gathering of Disney fans from around the world as past of the annual MouseFest event. This week, I enlist the help of a MouseFest veteran and first-timer in Glenn Whelan and Greg Grimsley to join me to talk about the event, planning for it, tips for getting the most out of the experience, my events, and more. Whether you’re attending this year, thinking about joining us in the future, or even if you’re not sure what MouseFest is or if it’s right for you, I think you’ll find this to be both helpful and fun. From future events to Walt Disney World of the past, this week I’ll once again take you aboard my Wayback Machine to Discovery Island, the tropical island paradise on Bay Lake that for years entertained guests with everything from pirate lore to exotic plants, birds and animals. Ryan Wilson is my co-pilot this week as we look at its history, numerous storylines, rumors and possible future. I’ll announce the winner of last week’s World Showcase contest, and give you another new question for this week’s contest, as well as a special Thanksgiving treat before playing some of your voicemails, so sit back, relax, and enjoy this week's episode of the WDW Radio Show. You can email the show at lou@wdwradio.com or call the voicemail TOLL FREE at 1-888-703-2171. Visit the web site at wdwradio.com. Talk about the show by visiting and posting in the WDW Radio Show message forums at DisneyWorldTrivia.com. Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in next week!
Another episode that has all three hosts present as we talk about the upcoming events at MouseFest. We also talk about an e-mail sent in to a fellow Disney Podcast that tries to rip Greg a new one. 2 Hours.

This episode STARTS as a continuation of the audio "trip report" from the morning of October 11, 2007, though I finally get OFF of Main Street U.S.A. this time, heading to Frontierland where I find The Notorious Banjo Brothers and Bob... If that set is not enough for you, then GOOD, because after that we travel back in time to play TWO MORE sets by the guys, first from the December 2006 (Mousefest trip), and THEN from June 2007. In the first two sets all the players are the full time players, the Sousaphone player in the June 2007 set appeared to be a back up player filling in for the regular sousaphonists day off.   linksThe Let's Talk About Disney Forums:http://www.letstalkaboutdisney.com/LTADForum/index.php The Mousin it up! subsection of LTADhttp://www.letstalkaboutdisney.com/LTADForum/forumdisplay.php?f=64 The Yahoo group for the bigbrian-nc.com site and NC Disney news is at:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disneypodcast/ The link to THIS trip report in the trip reports section:http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/trindex.htm#rad12 Steve Soares fine site of WDW entertainment schedules:http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ songsset 1 - October 11, 2007Ghost Riders in the Sky Notorious shuffle (song they play as they walk) Bugle Call Rag Notorious shuffle (song they play as they walk) Happy Birthday (hayden) I'm an old Cowhand Notorious shuffle (song they play as they walk) Happy Birthday set 2 - December 7, 2006Foggy Mountain Breakdown Zip A Dee Doo DahWe Three Kings Jingle Bell rock medley including old joe clark (other songs unknown)Sweet Georgia Browne set 3 - June 16, 2007Notorious shuffle (song they play as they walk) Ole Slue Foot Never Smile at a crocodile (snippet for a joke about a nearby gator) Bugle Call Rag Lover please come Home Notorious shuffle (song they play as they walk)  pictures taken during this episode can be found in the bottom half on these pages, from Oct 11, 2007http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/2007tr/oct/radp12/11th-e.htm from December 7, 2006 http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/mfst2006/7th-f.htm and from June 16, 2007 (with a substitute Sousaphonist) http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/2007tr/june/16th-h.htm feedback? The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station
Welcome to the WDW Radio Show - your Walt Disney World Information Station. This is Show #45 for the week of December 16, 2007. Thank you for tuning in once again. Last week was MouseFest 2007, the annual gathering of Disney fans from around the world in Walt Disney World, and it proved to be the biggest and truly the very best MouseFest ever. So rather than just give my trip report, I thought we would have MouseFest Recap Roundtable with some first time MouseFesters and new members of the Disney community. It’s a fun look back at what for many of us is one of the highlights of the year. Because there was so much to cover, and very little Walt Disney World news this week, we’ll catch up on the news and Rumor Mill on next week’s show. We’ll also announce our latest winner of our Walt Disney World Half Marathon Challenge Contest, as well as give you the clues for our next contest! So sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show. You can email the show at lou@wdwradio.com or call the voicemail at 206-202-4WDW (4939). Visit the web site at wdwradio.com. Talk about the show by visiting and posting in the WDW Radio Show message forums at DisneyWorldTrivia.com. Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in next week!
We've got another weird show for you guys today. But this one does give you a lot of content. First, I'm joined with Nick McLamb to discuss It's a Small World Holiday out here at Disneyland. And then I'm joined with John Corigliano of the MouseTimes podcast, to discuss his experiences at MouseFest 2007. You know what's funny, I end up saying hello & welcome to the EDRP 3 times in this show! And we also have 2 sets of housekeeping! LoL! And if you're wondering what this episode's album artwork is, then check out this MiceAge article; http://www.miceage.com/allutz/al121307a.htm
Due to "issues", this has been re-posted. It does still contain the Holidays at Animal Kingdom discussion, as well as "Adventures in Job Applications". But the live at MouseFest conversation has been edited out. The next episode will be released on Thursday, with another episode on Saturday! Again in light of our Holidays at Epcot & MGM Studios episodes, we have a Holidays at Disney's Animal Kingdom discussion. Again, I only have Nick on the show, but we still have an interesting discussion. The only thing we cover though is the Jingle Jungle Parade, which is a seasonal overlay to the Jamin' Jungle Parade.

The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station
Welcome to the WDW Radio Show, your Walt Disney World Information Station. Thank you for tuning in once again. This is Show #44 for the week of December 9, 2007. With this week being MouseFest, the annual gathering of Disney fans from around the world in Walt Disney World, I have to record the show early, so there won’t be any news or rumors this week. But to celebrate the holiday season, I welcome back Tim Foster from Guide to the Magic to discuss our Top 10 Favorite Christmas Moments in Walt Disney World, as we explore some of the places and ways to spend the holidays in and around the parks and resorts. This is also a great opportunity to answer a number of your emails, so Jeff Pepper joins me to answer questions about everything from Epcot Vybe, to The Making of Me, the steel drum band in Adventureland, Discovery River Taxi, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and many more. So sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show. You can email the show at lou@wdwradio.com or call the voicemail at 206-202-4WDW (4939). Visit the web site at wdwradio.com. Season Two kicks off with a preview of the all new Spaceship Earth from Epcot. It took three days and nearly six hours of diligent waiting during Mousefest for this recording to become a reality. From my point of view Disney brass has made it very clear to cast members that they are not to divulge any details as to when the attraction will preview or for how long. In truth, they may not know! This evening (Sunday) the attraction walls were well staffed with low level CMs answering the incessant question.VIPs clearly are being allowed privileged sneak peeks and guests are being brought in on a pacify the masses basis. The attraction is not yet finished. Perhaps Disney is relying upon the feedback from podcasts such as this to learn which direction to take in order to put the finishing touches on the work. As focus groups and preview audiences are the norm in motion pictures it would make sense that the Mouse would like to know what you think of the current incarnation of this work in progress.Log onto the DPN Forums and let your opinion be heard!
This week, Paul sends you on a magic carpet ride around the wonderful world of the Disney sound experience. This week, the WttM team brings you back to Mousefest 2006, to the "WindowtotheMagic WhereinthePark? LIVE Meet" at the Disney MGM Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida. The biggest highlights of Mousefest are the planned group get-togethers where fans with similiar interests (inside the larger online Disney fandom) meet up to share their sub-set of Disney fun with each other. WindowtotheMagic held a meet-up where we joined up with Ricky from Inside the Magic and Jeff from Meandering Mouse and we each took a group of people off to record concurrent park sound-seeing tours. The goal was to wander the studios for 15 minutes and then meet up at a common final location and share an experience as a group. Everyone that joined in had a great time, and now you are invited to listen in as we share all 3 recordings with you. Listen as Paul, Ricky, then Jeff take you around in their own individual styles, and then join us for a never-before-on-wttm experience. WindowtotheMagic will be doing this again at Mousefest 07, so be sure to look us up when you are there, we would LOVE to have you along next time!!! ******** NEW DVDS AVAILABLE *********** WONDERS OF LIFE AND 3 NEW WINDOW SERIES DVDS: MAIN STREET USA TOM SAWYER ISLAND FRONTIERLAND Visit the WindowtotheMagic DVD Store for more information! http://store.windowtothemagic.com/ *************************** VoiceMail 206-984-WTTM (9886) Email podcast@windowtothemagic.com Visit the WindowtotheMagic discussion forums at disneypodcastnet.com 87 minutes ))STEREO & BINAURAL((

The Micecast Disney podcast has consistently been one of my favorite Disney podcasts for a quite some time. If you are familiar with Mike and Greg's show and banter, you are accustomed to their off-the-cuff and tangent filled discussion style. They cover anything Disney and whatever else pops up...sometimes it's insightful, sometimes it's funny, sometimes they talk about nothing remotely close to Disney subject matter, and sometimes it's even off-color and politically incorrect. However, it's always an honest take and a good time. These guys, no doubt, have a passion for the parks. I spoke with Mike from Micecast recently and found out he was heading out of town for a solid week for a family funeral and tend to all the business that comes with such a tough experience. Therefore, I'm presenting this special edition of The Meandering Mouse Podcast in true Micecast style as a tribute to the show and to fill that void which will be left while Mike tends to important family business. This round table discussion took place at Disneyland's Rancho Del Zocalo one crisp Fall evening. Myself, Mike, Greg, and DPN forum member, Burnt Toast, took some time to discuss being part of the Disney cast member family. All three of the guys were Disney cast members at one point in their life. Toast spent around 12 years with the company. I couldn't have thought of a better topic to cover than working as a cast member as I was surrounded with so many friends who have shared the experience. My sympathies go out to Mike and his family this week. This one's for you, my friend. Please stay until the end of the show to play LTAD Jeopardy for your chance to win the T-Shirt which was signed by all the Disney podcasters at Mousefest 2006. Happy New Year! "It's a Small World" is the subject of this episode. I'd like to welcome all of the new viewers to the Bringing Disneyland Home Video Podcast. If you heard about the show for the first time at this year's MouseFest, please send me an email or a voice message to let me know what you think of the show. Also, if you are enjoying the BDH Vidcast, please leave a review on iTunes. Thanks and enjoy.
For the final show of 2006, your hosts present a WDW Trip Report. In an effort to not talk strictly about MouseFest, we have two people share their impressions of their first ever trip WDW. Brad from Bringing Disneyland Home and Chris from The Big D give us their take. Also, a new "feature" for MiceCast. The exit music will now have some sort of tie-in to stuff talked about on the show. This weeks exit music will also have a fun twist in it so make sure you listen to the whole thing. Oh yeah, our final show for 2006 clocks in at an all-time MiceCast high of 2 hours 10 minutes.
This Episode features Christmas music audio from both the Magic Kingdom, and Epcot theme parks of Walt Disney World, all taken from performances by the many live musicians who perform in these parks, while I'd love to g go a round and get music from all the live performers in the park, at least the little bit I have here can give you some idea of some of the places to start listening for live holiday audio if you find yourself in the parks in the Holiday Season. There's audio of the Voices of Liberty, and the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corp taken during Mousefest 2005. There's also a lot of audio from during the Mousefest Celebration this year (2006). There's music from both of the Main Street pianists, Mark and Jim, also from the Magic Kingdom we have audio from the Frontierland trio known as the Notorious Banjo Brothers and Bob (last heard on this pod cast as the Lone Strangers in the Halloween episode), additionally the group occasionally known as the Fantasyland Woodwind Society plays a few "Holiday" tune (two of which have the word "Holiday"in the title), though in this appearance here they are in their Fantasyland garb and appear as Cinderella's Royal Saxaphonists. We then head over to Epcot for a Holiday tune by a group you might not think of when it comes to Holiday music, the Cyber Groove, then we take a trip back in time to 1998 (Or perhaps 99?) when the American Adventure pavilion had just had a new addition to their line up, yep we have a few holiday songs by an early line -up of the group known as American Vybe, we then bookend the show with another set by the Voices of Liberty from 05, before deciding that arrangement of Holiday music on the shelf can use one more holiday/Mousefest tune tacked on at the end, I hope you enjoy it. As always full show notes are on my site at: http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/  this episodes notes page is: http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/sn2006-11.htm

**Headphones Highly Suggested** I made it back alive from Mousefest. After spending seven days at Walt Disney World with little sleep, my head is still spinning. Mousefest was an incredible experience filled with memories and time spent with good people. I was also able to grab a lot of fun audio from the gathering. I'll be sharing some of that audio on this show and letting you in on what it was like to be right in the middle of the madness. Last but not least, it's the holiday season and what better way to celebrate than hanging out with the DPN gang at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Most of The DPN gang along with some friends parked ourselves curbside in the hub of The Magic Kingdom on a chilly evening to take in the amazing Christmas parade. Come gather with us in the holday spirit using your earbuds. As a finale to this show, I present the incredible 4 minute Holiday Illuminations. You'll get to experience the explosive mayhem which caps off Reflections of Earth each night during this special season. My mics actually held up to the assault. It's a Christmas miracle! Hey! I'm back and exhausted! Before Mousefest I said that it was just another typical week here at WDW for me. In a way it was since I had to work, but then again in a typical week I we usually spend about 6.5 hours playing in the Parks. This week we spent more time playing than I did working, and I still worked my usual 40! Thankfully the DPN Cool Kids are gone and I can get back to normal... This week I give you my thoughts about Mousefest as I go thru the day by day, and wrap it up with the DPN More Fun than watching Plants Grow ride on the Land Boat Ride (Living with the Land) Have Fun!
When all is said and done during Mousefest... When the meets are over, the parks closed and the kids are in bed... When dinner has been eaten, and fireworks have concluded... Your WindowtotheMagic.com Podcast hosts headed to Downtown Disney to enjoy the Adventurer's Club on Pleasure Island... And who should get picked out of the crowd on that night to join Buela (the french maid) in a rousing rendition of the song "Popular" from the hit musical "Wicked"??? That's right... So feel free to watch and enjoy the night that everyone who DIDN'T GO to the Adventurer's Club that night was KICKING themselves for missing when the found out about it the next morning. 4 minutes ))MONO((

Yes, you read right... Show #73 Patrick is still working on show #72, and since he has recently developed an ulcer, he has not felt too much like editing lately. This week, to get you all ready for WindowtotheMagic's upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, we invited the original Walt Disney World podcaster - Ricky Brigante of the Inside the Magic podcast ( http://www.distantcreations.com/insidethemagic ) to guest host this week. I asked Ricky a while back to record a specific "WhereinthePark?" game for me, and since the game ended up being over an hour long, we decided to just let him host the whole she-bang. Ricky did an excellent job on this weeks show, and he even discovered a little bit of WDW that he had not experienced in quite some time, and he was glad to have experienced it. What was it? Just listen to find out! Next week, Patrick and I will be coming to you LIVE from Walt Disney World in Florida, and will be bringing all the fun and excitement of Mousefest to you all. We will be recording nearly the entire time we are in Florida, and so we expect to have lots of fun Florida audio for you in the coming weeks and months, once this whole Christmas thing blows over for the year. =) Patrick and Paul are going to be on hand for many of the events at Mousefest, and will even be hosting their own meet, WindowtotheMagic's WhereInThePark? Well... we were supposed to have a buddy-type show this week with Patrick and me answering emails, etc, but due to the long hours of editing on the Halloween show (15 hours at last count and he was almost half way done... ) when it came time to record the show... Patrick fell asleep and never got on Skype. So... this is what I do when Patrick is not available. I do a kick-butt show featuring a musical tribute to WDW! In this episode I hung out with folks in town for Mousefest 2005 and RADP 10. We went to the Ft. Wilderness Campfire Sing-a-Long and then to the Electric Water Pageant on the shore of Bay Lake. Note: The Campfire Sing-a-long is cheesy, yet just what you'd expect from a campfire sing-a-long, so it's fun! I edited the songs down to easy to listen to chunks since the sing-a-long is 30 minutes long. Plus Jeff wraps up trip #1 at DL!Show Links: Music: Michael Andrew and SwingerheadDon't forget to donate an unrwapped toy for a child in need at Toys for Tots or a similar organization.Have fun!
