Good news for you all, the show is now only partially blocked on YouTube, fortunately only in Russia/Belarus (they don't know what they're missing). This means that all the newer shows should be available to listen to on YouTube so they should reach a bigger audience at some point. More love to share is a good thing. News:Well, been a hectic few weeks with a major PC crash and burn. Only just managed to get a reinstall and get some programs running. News: Well, it happened again. The prices to enter Disneyland have increased. The only ticket that has not gone up was the 1 Day, 1 Park tier 1 ticket, which remains at $104. All the other tickets have gone up $5 for the 1 day, 1 park tier 2 ticket to $25 for the park hopper tickets. Parking has also increased from $25 to $30 for theme park standard parking and $15 increases for hotel self park, oversized, and valet parking. In this podcast Francesco Ricasoli corrects me with my pronounciation of his surname and the fact that vineyards around Brolio were not destroyed in WW2 - Isn't this what a proper chat is all about!! Brolio Castle at the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany is surrounded by vineyards that can best be described as the beating heart of Italian wine. This is where the Ricasoli family have been making news and wine since 1171.  News? Well, in 1872 Baron Bettino Ricasoli originated the formula for Chianti wine, now called Chianti Classico. While this has long since been discarded as a formula it was an extraordinary innovation for its time. Francesco Ricasoli, current owner and President of the company, has generated new ideas and concepts to render his vineyards sustainable. An ongoing study of soil types and a clonal selection of the Brolio Sangiovese are among his greatest passions. Francesco has totally renovated the vineyards and completely mapped them.  Wines? Attention to detail pays off for Ricasoli as every wine with his name attached to it is exceptional. In this podcast we hear how this is achieved and what lies in store for Chianti Classico one of the greatest wine regions in the world.  Enjoy. News: Well incase you have been living under a rock for the last few days Harley Davidson has release a few new bikes and shook up their lineup.  Here are three articles that we read before we chat. Need information about new Harleys, and another take and another.  We also talk about a first ride.   Here’s the lowdown. Dyna line has been dropped.   Some model names have been merged with Softail line: lowrider, fatbob, and streetbob have been carried forward to merge with the heritage deluxe, classic, softail slim, breakout, and fatboy.   8 new bikes. Common features are the dual counterbalanced Mil 8, with some (classic, fatboy, breakout) available with the 114. ABS is either standard or available (really!) but they don’t mention if its reflex linked as in the Rushmore and onward touring line.   All have single front rotors (boo). Bike weight reduced up to 35 lbs (yawn), frames are much stiffer and shocks have all been redesigned with showa cartridge like front forks and rear shocks that are easily preload adjustable and have more travel. Greater ground clearance and lean angle has been incorporated. Bikes are claimed to have much improved handling, significantly more torque. The engines are not identical to the 8’s in the touring models, as they now have large oil coolers between the front frame members that look like water radiators. Presumably, engine heat had to be addressed in the softail models, perhaps because they don’t have the farings to redirect the heat as in the baggers? 3 to 5 gallon gas tanks. All bikes have led lighting that varies from modern to futuristic looking, some have lcd readouts instead of the traditional analogue dials with inset lcd windows.   Indian opens an experience center. Can Pwyll regain his Faerie Bride? Part 9 of the First Branch of the Mabinogion story. Having been tricked at his own wedding feast, Pwyll returns to Dyfed in deep depression. There he has to wait for a year before he can return to the Otherworld. Only then will he see whether Rhiannon's plan will work and he can regain his Faerie Bride. But tricking the tricksters is never an easy task! In this episode we see exactly what happens when Pwyll returns on that fateful day! Not from Nantle but from our own research.. The Court of Hefaydd Hen THE COURT OF HEFEYDD HEN (or Hyfaidd Hen) – unknown, but, according to the Mabinogion, certainly not in Dyfed. But according to some other traditions, Hefeydd was the first King of Dyfed. Gorsedd Arberth was his burial place and also the entrance to Annwn. Was this the enchanted castle in the third Branch? A hero called Hefeydd Hir is found in the 6th century epic poem Y Gododdin (composed by a Briton named Aneurin who lived in a land which is now part of Scotland). In the second Branch of the Mabinogion he appears as one of the Seven Knights, King Hefeydd of Dyfed who died in 892 etc... Hefeydd was a common name in Mediaeval Wales. The Kingdom of Gwawl fab Clud Map of Scotland showing the Wall It is said that the literal meaning of the name is “Wall Son Of Wealth”. “Gwawl”, according to the University of Wales Dictionary means: The Vallum (Roman wall) between the Firth of Forth and the Firth of Clyde - the Antonine Wall, not Hadrian’s Wall Man Light But his last name more than likely refers to the River Clyde in Scotland. Therefore he was one of the people of the Old North, that is to say they were Britons, like the Welsh.
