No funnels, no hacks, no algorithms—just some real talk about why your show might not be taking off yet… and why that's totally okay. In this episode of Podtastic Audio, I'm breaking down the 4 core things every podcaster needs to focus on before expecting real growth. From dialing in your audio quality, getting clear on your audience, showing up consistently, and—this is a big one—finding and using your real voice, this is the stuff that actually moves the needle. Because great marketing can only take you so far. If your show isn't worth sharing, it's not going to grow. But the good news? You can fix that—and I'll show you how.
Sometimes in life we face situations that need a different approach. Often, for us to get past certain issues we need to stop doing what we've always done and try something new. Join Chad Messerly for this week's ‘Something to Think About' to look at four points on how to make changes in our life.
How do we stay focused on God in a world full of distractions? In this episode of Something to Think About, Chad Messerly discusses three ways we can overcome distractions and focus more on what we need to focus on.
In this Something to Think About episode, Jeff brings a bit of awareness to the data usage while updating apps. Updating apps can significantly impact your data usage, especially if you're on a limited plan. Regular updates, sometimes over 500MB per app, can quickly add up. While updates can improve security and features, it's worth considering whether automatic updates are right for you. Adjusting iPhone settings to manually update apps or restricting updates to Wi-Fi can save data and storage. Keep an eye on your app sizes and decide what's best for your needs. Message Pastor JasonWe continue our "Things to Think About" series with a message on where we place our trust. Drawing from Psalm 20:6-8, we explore how King David didn't rely on his weapons or army for victory but placed his confidence in God. With personal stories and practical insights, this sermon challenges us to consider what we trust for security and peace in today's world. Are we trusting in our own strength or in the Lord's? Join us as we unpack what it means to live with faith over fear and let God be our ultimate protector. The Federal Reserve seems to have finally publicly committed to its rate-cutting cycle—specifically the federal funds rate or policy rate. The Fed wanted to remain perceived as coming to the economy's rescue, rather than goosing the stock market higher. But the Federal Reserve is playing a confidence game with the general public, and the Fed can't save you. The phrase, old school economics, is often used positively or approvingly by many, but it's rarely explained. What is this school and where is it located? You can be sure that it is not what is taught in most college classrooms today. It's definitely not Keynesian or Marxist economics. But what is it?Order a free paperback copy of Per Bylund's How to Think About the Economy at Mises.org/IssuesFree.Follow Minor Issues at Mises.org/MinorIssues.

Mark discusses the issues of homelessness, poverty, technology, and government in two award-winning episodes of the 1995 Star Trek series, Deep Space 9. As in the entire Star Trek genre, the basic condition of scarcity is overlooked, particularly in the cases of issues back on Earth. However, considering the roles of scarcity and incentives, Mark suggests some real-life reforms.Order a free paperback copy of Per Bylund's How to Think About the Economy at Mises.org/IssuesFree.Follow Minor Issues at Mises.org/MinorIssues.

OA1040 We begin in Florida with yet more of Judge Aileen Cannon's efforts to delay Donald Trump's federal case, including a demand for Jack Smith to be nicer to Trump's lawyers and her decision to allow non-parties to join the fun and make arguments in an upcoming hearing about whether Smith was properly appointed to prosecute Trump at all. Hunter Biden's federal trial began this week in Delaware on charges relating to his purchase and possession of a gun which he owned for 11 days in 2018. Matt breaks down the history of this investigation, the charges, and how this case ended up going to trial before a quick time jump in which we return to review what we know one week into these proceedings. How does this trial compare to the one which concluded a week earlier with the conviction of a former President Donald Trump--and would these charges ever have been brought against someone whose last name wasn't Biden? 11th Circuit order instructing the clerk's office to stop taking complaints about Judge Cannon Mar-A-Lago search warrant Jack Smith's Motion for Modification of Conditions of Release Quick Facts on 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) Firearms Offenses (US Sentencing Commission) Delaware indictment of Robert Hunter Biden (gun charges) “How to Think About the Hunter Biden “Laptop,” Marcy Wheeler (6/6/2024) If you'd like to support the show (and lose the ads!), please pledge at patreon.com/law!
