Denise helps me take the Raisin Canes Podcast to a new and different level. We are expanding to broach discussions of the raising and caregiving of kids, parents and friends through love, spirit and actions. Kind of taking care of the beginning and the end. We begin with our stories of our segway into the realm of caregiving. Definitely trial by fire. Subjects of easing off the call button, a designer purse or a ring, creating lists, becoming children again, it's gonna be bad and take a life of its own are all included in the show. There was so much to cover and I feel that we only scratched the surface. Expect quite a few more caregiving podcast.

Katie is joined by Joanna Ebenstein, Founder of Morbid Anatomy (http://morbidanatomy.blogspot.com/), to talk about our complicated relationship with Death.

English Puritan Thomas Draxe called it “the quintessence and perfection of saving doctrine.” Our resolve to believe the gospel, while offering this hope to those around us, will drive our exploration of this letter.
