Episode Highlights: Jeff introduces his good friend, Rett Harmon at his office in Carrollton, GA and talks about the influences who will join Rett at the live Social Con event. There was a KW event called “Young and Killin' It” that Rachel was flown to and then ended up being called out by the CEOs wife that something wasn't right and maybe what she was saying did not match up with what she was really doing. It was a life changing moment for her.  Rachel talks about how she went on Social Media and opened up the slate with complete transparency and honesty; That is when she decided to shift everything completely and focus on authenticity and intention. Rachel shares how her journey of self discovery led to success and also meeting her husband. Are you scared to post your real life? Rachel's story will encourage you and Jeff advises, “When your strategy is business or highlight reel, you are just blending in with the masses.” How are you going to differentiate and attract your tribe? What about trolling? There will always be that piece but it can be a small piece. How do they actually help your algorithm? Rejection? Rachel started her business doing 200 door knocks and 3 open houses a week; She didn't sell any houses for the first 4 months. At 26, Rachel got into Social as she began to think about how she could expand and add value.  “With Social Media, you are either educating people or you are entertaining them,” says Rachel. How do you make a balance of both? She created an entire business model around Social Media with an 8 step process.Her and her husband now run four 6-figure businesses and all are through Social. Why does consistency matter for building your audience? Tristan talks about the book “Mindset” and how your mindset affects your trajectory.  Rachel talks about her classes and the things she had shared for referral strategy and a powerful script for conversion that brought her success and reminded her to lead by example. You have to be the 1% that follows up because the other 99% won't. Rachel shares how her referral strategy was so limited and how many live in a scarcity mindset. She shares how her view was expanded to abundance. What is the model to build a business through Social? Rachel goes over the outline. How can you use Google Keep and Hashtag Expert? Rachel grew up in a really small town called Lake County. She shares a little bit about the rural town. Rachel has been in real estate for eleven years. The business runs in her family and she always said she would never do it. She was managing a small boutique real estate  Struggles in her personal life made her realize that she wanted more but she didn't know what it looked like. When Rachel went to a conference called Bold, a quote rocked her world, “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” She talks about how she had been in such a scarcity mindset. She then decided she was going to do an accelerated program and jump into real estate. Through grit and determination, Rachel pushed through four months of now sales and went on to sell 39 homes her first year, 109 her second, then 123 and found herself hitting Wall Street Journal's top 1,000 agents in the country. Rachel committed to learning Social Media on her own before it was as big as it is now  and the referrals have grown and grown. The first year brought 7 referrals;  Last year,  they had 131 referrals come through Social Media.  If you feel the pressures of always being everything to everybody on Social, Rachel has advice for you. How do you know the difference between Social Media experts and eloquent speakers with microphones? What is the mindset? Jeff asks Rachel to talk people through the innovation and going from trying to show perfection to actually being honest. Rachel recommends to pick a platform and then pick 5 things that you will talk about on Social. People stick around because of who you are and how you make them feel.
