POPULARITY
Celebrating our fifth season of the Suebiquitous Podcast with host Sue Duffield, starts with a newness of heart, mind, soul and body. Revivify, the word, means "to bring new life" to something that is dead or in need of a resurrection. One of the Bible's most incredible statements is "..that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead now lives in us.." (Romans 8:11). Just that message alone should ignite whatever is dead in you, to come alive. Take a few minutes after listening to this episode and ask yourself these questions: What's in my life that has become stagnant, dry, or even dead? How do I even know if I'm "dead" to the Living Word? What are the things that keep me dead, isolated or out of contact with the Holy Spirit? Know this: It's a simple as asking. Then take your stand for Christ and get those bones moving! Matthew 18: 19-20 reminds us, “If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” www.sueduffield.com "Revive Us Again", by Jeff & Sue Duffield/Hymphonic Album BMI ©2012 Available on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify and YouTube
Revivify's discipleship pastor, Bunni Baker, explores the profound message of faith as depicted in Hebrews 11, emphasizing that true faith is not about receiving what we pray for, but about remaining loyal to God even when promises are unfulfilled. It highlights the anticipation of the kingdom of God as a driving force for biblical figures like Barnabas, who sacrificed his wealth and status for the mission of the church. The sermon challenges modern Christians to shift from a self-centered faith to one that is outward-focused, participating in the unfolding kingdom of God.Key Verses: 1. Hebrews 11:39 2. Hebrews 11:13-16 3. Acts 4:36-37 4. Acts 9:26-27 5. Acts 11:19-26Key Takeaways:1. Faith is about loyalty to God, not receiving what we pray for. 2. The kingdom of God is a present and future reality that should drive our actions. 3. Barnabas exemplified sacrificial living and encouragement for the sake of the kingdom. 4. Modern Christianity often focuses too much on self; we need to realign with the early church's anticipation of God's kingdom. 5. Our faith should compel us to see and act beyond ourselves, participating in God's renewal of creation.Reflection Questions:1. What does Hebrews 11 teach us about the nature of faith? 2. How does the anticipation of the kingdom of God influence our daily lives? 3. What sacrifices did Barnabas make, and what motivated him to do so? 4. How can we apply Barnabas' example of encouragement and support in our community? 5. What are some modern-day challenges to living with an anticipation of God's kingdom? 6. How can we shift our focus from a self-centered faith to one that is kingdom-focused? 7. In what ways can we see people not as they are, but as they could be with God's Spirit? 8. What practical steps can we take to participate in the unfolding of God's kingdom?Practical Application:This week, identify one area in your life where you can shift your focus from personal desires to serving others in anticipation of God's kingdom. Take a step to act on this, whether through volunteering, encouraging someone, or sharing your faith.Support the show

The party anxiously waits for the safe return of Taj and Sapphire. In that time Brilia gazes into the dreams of her Brother Barlyre and quickly realizes how he was tempted to join Vecna. When Taj and Sapphire return it's obvious they aren't happy with how the party sabotaged their mission. They set off alone to their next assignment and tell the party to poke around for more information on Vecna's cult. They end up crashing a local hanging of a cultist, Verity using magical fire as a distraction as Brilia whisked the corpse away. Revivify is quickly cast on the dead cultist and the party now sees how necrotic magic has changed across Azera. Lenore spens her last week with the party as they move on to a neighboring town in hopes of rustling up more information there. Taabi finally reveals his birth name- Molten Scoria, to the surprise of the party. Once they arrive in town Arsen and Verity surprise everyone with their wedding at a nearby park as Lenore walks verity down the aisle. They drink and feast the night away. Sweet words are said as well as melancholy goodbyes. Lenore departs to serve the raven queen the next day, leaving behind letters for everyone. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Welcome to Darkness & Dragons; the actual play livestream for the narrative roleplayer. Lost in the Astral Seas, our party struggles with separation from their friends and allies. But even with Vecna’s plans (temporarily) foiled and Cade put to death, nothing comes easy. Will Verity come to terms with who she has become and reclaim her throne? Will Taabi find hope for his people, after everything has been taken from them? Will Brilia find the love of her life, or is Kos lost forever? All these questions and more will be answered in this THE FINAL SEASON of Darkness and Dragons. We say no one goes through breast cancer alone and yet one of the biggest struggles in breast cancer recovery is feeling lonely, misunderstood, and unheard. Sometimes the expectation we put on ourselves to be the warrior makes it very difficult to be vulnerable and connect with others. But it is in that connecting with others that we actually find true strength. We create a safe space where we can connect to others and doing that empowers us to move forward. Breast Cancer is an overwhelming experience. But unless you've been through it, most people don't understand that even after you beat the beast, the fight is not over. Women struggle with picking up the pieces and trying to figure out how to move forward when treatment ends. In today's episode you'll hear from three members of REVIVIFY, my online course that guides women through breast cancer recovery, and how this program has impacted their lives. Mary Jo Wentzel, Mary Ann Eller, & Kelly Busch talk about how REVIVIFY has helped them through their recovery from breast cancer. You'll hear how the tools provided in REVIVIFY and the community we've built helps them to keep pushing forward. When it comes to healing after breast cancer treatment, we're told everything will go back to normal and that's rarely the case. After treatment we find ourselves reaching out to loved ones and medical professionals only to end up feeling frustrated and dismissed…I know I did. That feeling was my motivation to create the REVIVIFY program and create a safe space for survivors to release fear and trauma, renew their body and mind and create a thriving life feeling confident in their choices around nutrition, exercise, sleep, and a healthy mindset. You don't want to miss the insights form these inspirational survivors. You know that social support is important as you go through breast cancer treatment. In fact, when treatment ends and that support begins to wane, you can find yourself feeling lonely, abandoned and even depressed. Often it's hard to find your bearings after breast cancer treatment when you realize that life isn't going back to what you were expecting. This is not only a common experience for you as a survivor, but it also impacts the ones who were closest to you during treatment. They often struggle with figuring out how to move forward and how to deal with the changes in you and in their lives. The important thing for everyone is to talk about it. By facing changing priorities and expectations, you not only strengthen your social support system but you help your loved ones understand what's happening, so they feel safe and they understand where and how they are needed in your life. Social support is one of the foundations to living a healthy life and it's up to you to engage with those special people in your life to build and strengthen constructive, empowering relationships. In this show you'll hear four steps to help you strengthen your social support and create champions to help you build this new life after breast cancer. Use the Social Support Action Sheet from my REVIVIFY program to help you take the next steps in strengthening your social support.
