The expiration of EV tax credits pulled sales into Q3, leading to a sharp Q4 drop. While regional variations exist, hybrid vehicle demand is rising, with Ford (F) shifting focus from pure electric vehicle production to hybrids. Affordability remains the primary concern for consumers, making vehicles under $30,000 highly desirable in the current market.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. Jeff Lax, a CUNY law professor and founder of SAFE CAMPUS, said former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has crossed into “dangerous antisemitic territory,” following Carlson's widely criticized interview with far-right activist Nick Fuentes, an avowed Hitler admirer, yimakh shemo ve'zikhro, and Holocaust denier. In a detailed discussion with VINnews contributor Alan Skorski, Lax said Carlson's recent commentary and guest choices reflect a disturbing pattern. “There were warning signs early on,” Lax said, “but after the Fuentes interview and the repeated smears against Israel and Jewish conservatives, it's clear what direction he's taken.” Fuentes appeared on Carlson's digital platform in October 2025, where he was given extended, largely unchallenged time to promote conspiratorial claims about Israel and its supporters. Carlson at times echoed similar themes, particularly in criticizing Israel's military actions in Gaza. Carlson told viewers that “you have to judge people on their behavior, not on their blood,” before accusing Israeli leaders of suggesting Palestinians are “stained from birth.” Fuentes, in the same interview, claimed Israel views all Palestinians as inherently “guilty.” The backlash intensified as Carlson labeled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an “enemy of Western civilization” and compared forms of Zionism to Nazism, saying: “Why are the Nazis bad? They're bad for that exact same reason… Any belief system that starts by declaring one group morally superior to another violates Western values.” The controversy also triggered turmoil within the conservative movement. After Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts declined to distance the organization from Carlson, several members of Heritage's antisemitism task force — including Rabbi Yaakov Menken, attorney Mark Goldfeder, and Christian Zionist leader Laurie Cardoza Moore — resigned in protest. Skorski noted that Carlson aggressively challenges pro-Israel guests while offering sympathetic platforms to Israel's harshest critics. The only exception cited was an interview with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), during which Carlson repeatedly interrupted the senator's defense of Israel. “Carlson insists he isn't antisemitic,” Skorski said. “But he consistently targets Jewish figures who strongly support Israel — Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin, AIPAC supporters — while giving a free pass to their most extreme opponents. He claims he's criticizing their ‘views,' yet he repeatedly distorts those views and amplifies their adversaries.” The dispute marks one of the most significant breaks between Carlson and conservative Jewish leaders to date, with critics warning that his growing alignment with extremist voices poses a serious threat to the broader discourse on Israel and antisemitism. -VIN News Alan Skorski Reports - 03DEC2025 - PODCAST

Tucker Carlson has dominated conservative media headlines recently following a deeply controversial interview with Nick Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist and Holocaust denier. This episode on his independent video platform led to extensive backlash throughout the Republican Party and conservative institutions, especially as Fuentes used the platform to discuss antisemitic conspiracy theories. The fallout was immediate: Texas Senator Ted Cruz criticized Carlson's handling of the interview, describing him as complicit in promoting harmful ideologies. Prominent conservative commentator Ben Shapiro also lambasted Carlson, calling him a dishonest interlocutor. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump jumped into the fray, backing Carlson and arguing he should be free to interview whoever he wants, while encouraging the public to make their own judgments about Fuentes and other controversial guests. Trump expressed his continued admiration for Carlson and cited their successful interview which reached hundreds of millions of impressions.Within conservative think tanks, the controversy reached a breaking point at the Heritage Foundation. President Kevin Roberts defended Carlson's right to conduct the interview, calling him “a close friend” and resisting calls for cancellation. Yet, this stance led to internal upheaval, including the resignation of board member Robert George, who said he could not remain unless Roberts publicly retracted his supportive video. Several members of the Heritage Foundation's antisemitism task force also stepped down in protest, spotlighting deep divisions on the right regarding Carlson's influence, racism, and the boundaries of acceptable discourse.Despite these controversies, Carlson's media presence remains formidable and expanding. He's actively raising investor funds—reportedly aiming for hundreds of millions of dollars—with business partner Neil Patel to launch a new media company founded on subscription-based longer-form videos distributed primarily through X, formerly known as Twitter. His short-form video commentary continues to attract millions of viewers, and his enterprise, the Tucker Carlson Network, is drawing significant traffic by blending interviews with cultural and political commentary. Recent episodes have featured discussions with figures such as Andrew Tate, Tim Burchett, and Russell Brand, and his live national media tour has brought Carlson to packed venues, often alongside major right-wing personalities like Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, Kid Rock, Alex Jones, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Donald Trump Jr.Carlson's recent programming has delved into subjects like U.S. government transparency, congressional insider trading, UFOs, and the politicization of campus life. His recent sit-down with Nikki Haley's son included pointed questions about America's relationship with Israel, reigniting debates around antisemitism and foreign policy in the conservative movement. In another headline-making moment, Carlson and Steve Bannon called out U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee for meeting with convicted Israel spy Jonathan Pollard—an incident Carlson condemned as “shocking behavior” and which was reportedly hidden from official schedules. The controversy led to further debate, with the White House saying Trump knew nothing about the meeting but still backs Huckabee as ambassador.Carlson is facing notable internal criticism even from within the MAGA coalition itself. This has become increasingly apparent after his exchanges with Laura Loomer, who has accused him of pro-Islamic bias—reflecting sharp divides on issues ranging from religion to foreign policy. Meanwhile, Carlson's rising stature in post-Fox media ventures is drawing comparisons to other major personalities and has placed him at the center of debates about the future of conservative media, especially as his network continues to attract both major audiences and considerable investment. In a particularly impactful development, Carlson is stepping in to headline Turning Point USA's upcoming Indiana University event—a move prompted by the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk—with Megyn Kelly and Glenn Beck joining as guest speakers. This tour is being hailed by organizers as a major moment for campus free speech. While there's ongoing speculation about Carlson's income and net worth, current estimates place him between $30 and $50 million, boosted by family money and the rapid expansion of his digital media footprint. The financial maneuverings behind his new ventures continue to attract scrutiny and discussion in both business and political circles.Listeners, thank you for tuning in to the Tucker Carlson News Tracker podcast. In this powerhouse episode, 1819 News CEO Bryan Dawson sits down with Tucker Carlson for the most explosive and candid conversation ever featured on the podcast. Sparked by a seven-year-old viral clip of Carlson debating Ben Shapiro over driverless trucks, Dawson lays out how that single moment shattered the spell of neoliberal economics and exposed the human cost of deindustrialization, mass immigration, and endless foreign wars. What began as a discussion about jobs and GDP quickly became a full-scale autopsy of the conservative movement's decades-long betrayal of the American working class. Carlson pulls no punches: he traces his own journey from a Weekly Standard neoconservative to the leading voice of America First nationalism, recounting the exact moment in Baghdad in 2003 when he realized he'd been “used” to sell a disastrous war. With unflinching honesty, he admits his past mistakes, explains why he now rejects both libertarian economics and neoconservative foreign policy as “false religions,” and declares that any government not putting its own citizens first has no legitimacy. The conversation then dives into the ongoing civil war inside conservatism—paleocons vs. neocons, Buchanan vs. Buckley 2.0—and why the old gatekeepers are finally losing control thanks to Elon Musk's X. Carlson defends “America First” against decades of deliberate slander, dismantles the weaponized charge of antisemitism used to silence dissent, and warns that unchecked demographic replacement and anti-white discrimination are destroying the country his children will inherit. From the collapse of Kevin Roberts at Heritage to the rise of Nick Fuentes among a generation of angry young men, Carlson and Dawson confront the uncomfortable truths the establishment refuses to face: the American people have been lied to, sold out, and humiliated—and they've finally had enough. A raw, unfiltered, and deeply Christian case for putting America—and Americans—first. If you care about the future of this nation, this is the one episode you cannot miss.

SHOW 11-12-25 CBS EYE ON THE WORLD WITH JOHN BATCHELOR 1930 THE SHOW BEGINS IN THE DOUBTS ABOUT CHINA'S LEADERSHIP. FIRST HOUR 9-915 Allied AI Competition and Submarine Requests. Scott Harold examines the crucial role of allies Japan and South Korea in the AI competition against China. Japan is developing locally tailored AI models built on US technology for use in Southeast Asia. South Korea aims to become the third-largest AI power, offering reliable models to counter China's untrustworthy technology. Harold also discusses South Korea's surprising request for nuclear-powered, conventionally armed submarines to track Chinese and North Korean vessels, signaling a greater public willingness to contribute to China deterrence. 915-930 Rare Earths Monopoly and US Strategy. General Blaine Holt discusses China's challenge to the US and its allies regarding rare earths, noting that China previously threatened to cut off supply. The US is securing deals with partners like Australia and is on track to replace China entirely, despite initial processing reliance on Chinese predatory practices. Holt suggests a two-year recovery is conservative, as technology for domestic processing exists. He also notes China's leadership is in turmoil, trying to buy time through trade deals. 930-945 Russian Economic Stagnation and War Finance. Michael Bernstam confirms that the Russian economy is stagnating, expecting no growth for years due to exhausted resources and reliance on military production. Oil and gas revenues are down significantly due to Western sanctions and high discounts, widening the budget deficit. Russia is increasing taxes, including the VAT, which drives inflation in staples. This economic pain damages the popularity of the war by hurting the low-income population—the primary source of military recruitment. 945-1000 Buckley, Fusionism, and Conservative Integrity. Peter Berkowitz explores William F. Buckley's consolidation of the conservative movement through "fusionism"—blending limited government and social conservatism. Buckley purged the movement of anti-Semites based on core principles. Berkowitz uses this historical context to analyze the controversy surrounding Tucker Carlson giving a platform to Nick Fuentes, who openly celebrates Stalin and Hitler. This incident caused division after the Heritage Foundation's president, Kevin Roberts, defended Carlson, prompting Roberts to issue an apology. SECOND HOUR 10-1015 Commodity Markets and UK Political Instability. Simon Constable analyzes rare earth markets, noting China's dominance is achieved through undercutting prices and buying out competitors. Prices for key industrial commodities like copper and aluminum are up, indicating high demand. Constable also discusses UK political instability, noting that Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer lacks natural leadership and confidence. The major political driver for a potential leadership change is the party's broken promise regarding income taxes, which severely undermines public trust before the next election, 1015-1030 Commodity Markets and UK Political Instability. This supersonic missile system, part of the $7.2 billion Reorizon 3 modernization program, gives the Philippines "skin in the game" near disputed waters like Scarborough Shoal. The deployment signifies a strategy to turn the Philippines into a "porcupine," focusing defense on the West Philippine Sea. The systems are road-mobile, making them difficult to target. 1115-1130 AI, Cyber Attacks, and Nuclear Deterrence. Peter Huessy discusses the challenges to nuclear deterrence posed by AI and cyber intrusions. General Flynn highlighted that attacks on satellites, the backbone of deterrence, could prevent the US from confirming where a launch originated. Huessy emphasizes the need to improve deterrence, noting that the US likely requires presidential authorization for retaliation, unlike potential Russian "dead hand" systems. The biggest risk is misinformation delivered by cyber attacks, although the US maintains stringent protocols and would never launch based solely on a computer warning. 1130-1145 Sudan Civil War, Global Proxies, and Nigerian Violence. Caleb Weiss and Bill Roggio analyze the civil war in Sudan between the SAF and the RSF, noting both factions commit atrocities, including massacres after the capture of El Fasher. The conflict is fueled by opposing global coalitions: the UAE and Russia support the RSF, while Iran, Egypt, and Turkey back the SAF. The Islamic State has called for foreign jihadis to mobilize. Weiss also addresses the complicated violence in Nigeria, differentiating jihadist attacks on Christians from communal farmer-herder conflict. 1145-1200 Sudan Civil War, Global Proxies, and Nigerian Violence. Ivana Stradner discusses protests in Serbia demanding accountability one year after a canopy collapse killed 16 people, with investigations linking the accident to high-level corruption involving a Chinese company. Leader Vučić suppresses discontent by alleging the West is plotting a "color revolution." Although Vučić aligns his heart with Russia and China, he needs EU money for political survival, prompting him to offer weapons to the West and claim Serbia is on the EU path. 1215-1230 The Muslim Brotherhood and Its Global Network. Cliff May discusses the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), the progenitor of Hamas, founded in 1928 after the Ottoman Caliphate's abolition. The MB's goal is to establish a new Islamic empire. Qatar is highly supportive, hosting Hamas leaders, while the UAE and Saudi Arabia have banned the MB. Turkish President Erdoğan is considered MB-adjacent and sympathetic, supporting Hamas and potentially viewing himself as a future Caliph, despite Turkey being a NATO member. 1230-1245 Commercial Space Records and Political Impacts on NASA. Bob Zimmerman covers new records in commercial space: SpaceX achieved 147 launches this year, and one booster tied the Space Shuttle Columbia for 28 reuses. China also set a record with 70 launches but had a failure. Commercial space faced temporary impacts, such as an FAA launch curfew due to a government shutdown and air traffic controller shortages. "2025 has been a pretty interesting year for the auto industry," says Kevin Roberts with CarGurus. He has a particular interest in the used car market, noticing a rise in vehicle sales under $30,000 and/or with cars seven years or older. Kevin sees similar trends in the EV space after the Trump administration axed the EV tax credits. With interest rates remaining high and new vehicle prices increasing, he says it's critical a middle ground forms to draw prospective car buyers toward new vehicles.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. Last week, the Holocaust-denying, white nationalist influencer Nick Fuentes sat down with former Fox News host turned podcaster Tucker Carlson on The Tucker Carlson Show, where the two discussed Fuentes's trajectory, the evolution of his “America First” ideology, and the ways his rejection of the neoconservative common sense on Israel put him at odds with parts of the right-wing establishment. For many, Carlson's seeming embrace of Fuentes on his popular show signaled a shift, a recognition that what was once taboo on the right has arrived in the mainstream. Cementing the sense of a sea change, Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, the right-wing think tank that has crafted many of Donald Trump's most destructive policies, refused to disavow or scold Carlson, saying in a video that criticism of Israel is not antisemitism. He asserted that Americans should support Israel as long as Israel's action are in American interests—and that there is no obligation to support Israel if they are not. (Since this taping, he has had to walk back this statement, particularly the use of the phrase “venomous coalition” to describe those trying to “cancel” Carlson over the interview with Fuentes.) That same week, far-right talk show host Candace Owens, dismissed from her Daily Wire post over antisemitism, sat down with left-wing former academic and Palestine advocate Norman Finkelstein. In a conversation laced with Owens's many antisemitic conspiracy theories, they attempted to find common ground. In this episode of On the Nose, Jewish Currents editor-in-chief Arielle Angel and publisher Daniel May are joined by Ben Lorber, researcher of antisemitism and white nationalism, and Andrew Marantz, a New Yorker writer who profiled Carlson last year. They discussed the uncomfortable resonances between right and left anti-Zionism in this moment, and the even more disturbing antisemitic, white and Christian nationalist divergences. This has led to resignations at the Heritage Foundation, condemnation by certain figures on the right, and a pseudo apology by Roberts. It has also led to a little bit of a reckoning over how some on the right, and to some extent Americans more broadly, have dealt with accusations of anti-Semitism, its relationship to various policy questions, as well as hate speech and other political perspectives. What should we be making of this crisis and what does it tell us about the different policy aspects that intersect with this question of anti-Semitism?“Turning Back the Clock.” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent promised that President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping would “consummate” a TikTok deal at their face-to-face last week. But no details have emerged to date. What should we make of this apparent hold-up—and of the TikTok saga altogether? “A Foe By Any Other Name.” As the Trump administration has continued its military campaign against narcotics traffickers in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, U.S. officials have continued to draw parallels between current policies and the Global War on Terrorism, calling detainees “unlawful enemy combatants” and the groups being targeted “designated terrorist organizations.” “If you are a narco-terrorist…,” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth recently tweeted in relation to one of the strikes, “we will treat you like we treat Al-Qaeda.” But how accurate are these parallels, and why is the Trump administration deploying them in this way?In object lessons, Ben brings you a little announcement that is shorter than this sentence—you're just going to have to listen to find out. We could have called this episode "Revenge of the Manosphere."Steve and Lucretia consider a few news headlines, and some major stories conspicuously not making headlines* (such as the Houise investigation of the White House conspiracy to cover up Joe Biden's senility), who Bill Kristol supports in the NY City mayor's race (you'll never guess), whether the climate cult is over, and alarm bells about rising anti-Israel sentiment among young conservatives. (We recorded before the Kevin Roberts video went live, however.)And then we arrive at the main topic of the day: Lucretia defending herself against charges of "lookism." Steve enlists an expert witness: the great Taki Theodoracopulos, who wrote way back in 1981 that American women were the ugliest in the world. Seems like the perfect topic for the week when the world discovered the Jennifer Welch, the Democrats' newest It-Girl. (And naturally, the exit music this week is "Ugly Women," by country musician Grant Langston.)* Yes, that sentence is a sly reference to a light bulb joke: How many Straussians does it take to change a light bulb? None: the light is made conspicuous by its absence. (IYKYK, otherwise you don't get Plato.)

We are in a global competition with China, and Glenn warns that if we lose this AI race, we will lose the country. China is constructing up to 40 nuclear power plants each year to power its AI farms. Are we reaching a point where it's impossible to catch up? Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts joins Glenn to discuss Project 2025, the government shutdown, and what's to come as Trump's second term continues.
