Paul Donnelly started training in TKD in 1973 at Warwick club under instructor Bob Howe aged 17 , Paul was a natural and it was like watching a mirror image of his instructor Bob Howe when he was kicking & performing patterns, Paul competed regularly at green belt & blue& red winning lots of competitions and when he got to black belt he went straight into the National team, all the way through he was competing in the same divisions as Ron Sergiew, Kenny Walton, & Bob Sergiew so a tough time to make your mark but Paul did.But this feature is not about Paul's competitive career it's about a little bit of TKD history which he was part of, because of his superb technical ability Paul was invited by General Choi in 1980 to undertake a 3 week tour of North Korea as part of the ITF world Master demonstration team to introduce ITF Taekwondo to the people of North Korea for the first time. On the 15th of September 1980 Paul and Master Ki Ha Rhee who was chief instructor of the UKTA flew from Heathrow airport to Sweden to meet up with General Choi and the rest of the Masters, Paul was a 3rd dan at this time and was honoured to have been asked to go on the tour, some of the other members of the group were, Park Jung Tae ,Lim Won Sup ,Kim Jung Sun , Master Han , Charles Sereff ,Choi Jung Hwa , Michael McCormack , Kresha Broussa ,Demitrius Cosmoglu, from Sweden the group flew to Moscow where Paul was asked to demonstrate for General Choi and the North Korean embassy officials, after sightseeing in Moscow the next day taking photos in red square, the group flew to Pyong Yang in North Korea where they were greeted by hundreds of schoolchildren and a full blown orchestra. The group gave demonstrations across North Korea in huge stadiums all making national headlines, the biggest one was in Pyong Yang where they were watched by a crowd of 15,000 ,Paul's role was decided by General Choi he had to perform high jumping reverse turning kick, twist kick , one step sparring with Park Jung Tae team pattern, and free sparring with Master Han and Kresha Brussa .Paul said it was a real eye opener,they were well looked after, taken all over the country to the most prestigious events and historical sights , and diverse events such as a couple of propaganda films as well as an opera and children's school shows , they were given money to buy things from the embassy to bring home along with a professional photograph album, newspapers and gifts , Paul said the country was beautiful, and we had minders every where we went who were at our beckon and call , Paul said when they left the city's and went into the countryside to visit mountains and beauty spots he could not help but notice that the people looked malnourished, and whenever they asked awkward questions about there lifestyle the subject was quickly changed, all the children were dressed the same and they walked everywhere crocodile style. Just before Paul left for North Korea he received a phone call from the foreign office pointing out that we didn't have an embassy out there so if anything went wrong he would be on his own! Paul was also offered a 4th dan grading when he was on the tour but turned it down because he had not done his time and did not want to jump a grade above his peers and training partners.

ABBOTT LETTER  - The federal government has broken the compact b/w the United States and the States.  When you state something like this, you mean business.  Here is some American Constitution and Civics 101 -  It was a permanent agreement not a compact. So does Abbott really know what he is doing here? Understand that some of the Senators egging Lincoln on for Southern blood, despised the use of the term COMPACT.  Perpetual Union - means as long as both parties still agree, it perpetrates itself. So when Abbott says the federal government has broken the compact that means he is done with the COMPACT.

Donald Trump Indictments Election Integrity Information  There have been 92 total court cases brought by Trump questioning the stolen 2020 election.  More than two-thirds were dismissed on technicalities—with lack of standing being among the most frequently cited. 30 , 22 (73%). AUDIO/VIDEO: The moment CBS broke the news on Election Night that a “pipe burst” at State Farm Arena, “pausing” the vote count in Fulton County, GA. These ballots they are talking about are filled out on paper. So what does all this mean? Remember when I told you they said they had to clear all the election workers out to clean up the water? We now know there was NO WATER leak. They tried to frame the custodial worker if you recall and he said he addressed something but never made a call stating there was a pipe that bursted. They brought a skeleton crew in to ‘continue to count the votes'.  Security and ID cards were not scanned by this skeleton crew. They forgot however about the video that was still recording. During discovery they are going to get all these video tapes. So maybe these indictments against Donald Trump will serve as a GOOD thing. HEADLINE: The ‘Laptop Class' Fetish For Manual Labor Is An Attempt To Justify Privilege by Hannah Spier  I told them how the women I treated for depression and insomnia after years of working double shifts or sometimes two jobs in service industries or retail saw an immediate improvement with sick leave because what they really longed for was serving their families, not customers. The chasing of property prices in the cities, the high cost of living, and their husbands' low salaries had robbed these women of that choice. Policies like universal childcare would not necessarily resolve the depression and insomnia. TKD explains their replies -  It is such a condescending thing to say, I'm left wondering if this indeed has become the Capitol in The Hunger Games. Go try and find someone that knows how to weld something! So who is going to ‘build' these things? There are people running around that know how to blast people w/ phasers in these shows but they don't know how to use a hammer. Is anyone thinking about how we have lost an entire generation, t hat will probably never hear music being generated on analog instruments and transmitted directly to their ears? While welders endure extremely uncomfortable physical positions and lift heavy metal objects, construction laborers receive the most injuries, and fishermen suffer the most fatalities, the laptop class will focus on the rough life of corporate women. How can they still believe these men all whistle while they work? It's as if this whole class of people are wearing 3D virtual reality goggles broadcasting a completely different show than the one the rest of us are watching. And they maintain the barricade mentally separating them from those responsible for the actual infrastructure of our world. Who's gonna get the water to run if everyone starts YouTube channels? Who is gonna' fix all the pipes in people's homes if we all signup for laptop jobs? The actual doing of things is not the same as the talking about. Go out and do something today. Grocery store - plastic bags How did we get here? Birth is also important to the laptop class because it's at birth that you are assigned various layers of oppression, or assigned parents who pass those oppressive identities down to you. Namely, sex, identity, ethnicity, and non-Judeo-Christian religions. Those characteristics are outside of your control; if you were born without the features that the prevailing narrative teaches are disadvantages, life should be just fine. When longshore fishermen are dying, it's due to their passion for their chosen career path. Acknowledging the reality that manual labor is often a necessity rather than a choice would force the laptop class to confront their own privilege. This realization conflicts with their victimhood narrative and challenges the notion that their preferred policies benefit the underprivileged. Since you psychologically can't be both entitled and victim simultaneously, the guilt arising must be repressed by denial of the fact. “They love those jobs! They do them out of interest — who are we to deny them?” They even pass it on to their kids as a special family tradition. It eases the divorce between discrimination and actual suffering. Andre Lima is a world famous Taekwondo fighter and Grandmaster 8th Degree. Lima began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Brazil in the 80s. In 1988 he moved to France and in 1990 relocated to the United States where he became a member of the original Machado Jiu Jitsu Academy in Redondo Beach, CA in the early 90s. In the mid 90s Lima and his wife Christianny Lima founded Lima Taekwondo and Martial Arts Academy specialized in teaching TKD and BJJ. Lima competed in local BJJ tournaments; his last competition was at the 2000 Pan American in Florida taking 2nd place. In 2005 Rigan Machado promoted Andre Lima to BJJ Black Belt. It was an honor to sit down with him and hear old BJJ Stories, his martial arts journey , his dedication on helping others thru martial arts and what makes a good instructor and more!
