David Bozell discusses his family's conservative political background in Washington, D.C., and how his father helped launch the Media Research Center after earlier work with NCPAC. He describes the MRC's early years as resource-poor but focused on documenting media bias, including work at the 1988 conventions and support from donors and figures in conservative media. He also talks about the organization's relationship with Rush Limbaugh, saying MRC supplied clips and documentation that supported Limbaugh's on-air commentary. Bozell reflects on Limbaugh's influence and on how conservative media grew through talk radio and strong messaging. Bozell then explains how MRC's focus has shifted to digital platforms such as Apple News, Google News, Yahoo, and MSN, where he says the organization tracks the visibility of center-right voices. He closes by urging audiences to share content, contact news platforms about imbalance, and push for more conservative sources in mainstream distribution. Connect with David
On today’s edition of The Scott Jennings Show, Scott examines the latest action on Capitol Hill as lawmakers advanced the SAVE America Act, debated House Reconciliation 3.0, and held hearings on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. Plus, Scott coveres Todd Blanche’s appearance before Congress, Speaker Mike Johnson’s remarks on communism and Western civilization, and the broader debate over free speech and Big Tech. David Bozell joined the show to discuss new Media Research Center reporting alleging Apple and Google suppressed stories involving Graham Platner, while Rep. Craig Goldman broke down the House passage of the SAVE America Act and what comes next in the Senate. Later, Sen. Dan Sullivan discussed the latest congressional developments, a bipartisan Russia sanctions bill, and Alaska’s political landscape. Throughout the broadcast, Jennings blended congressional news, technology, foreign policy, and political analysis into a comprehensive look at the issues driving the national conversation. https://www.dukeenergy.com/poweringamerica See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt joins The Marc Cox Morning Show with a heartfelt tribute to the late Senator Lindsey Graham, calling him the most entertaining man in the Senate and a true friend across the aisle. But the conversation quickly turns to business — Schmitt exposes the insanity of Senate Democrats like Mazie Hirono fighting his bill to denaturalize and deport violent criminals and fraudsters who came to America illegally, and breaks down exactly what sanctuary jurisdictions really mean for public safety. Schmitt also updates listeners on the stalled Save America Act, his own legislation targeting mail-in ballot fraud, and doesn't hold back his concern over the rise of democratic socialists and open communist rhetoric infecting the Democrat Party. Closing strong, Schmitt confirms his full support for Missouri's Amendments 4 and 5, arguing eliminating the state income tax would make Missouri as competitive as Tennessee. Straight answers from a straight shooter — that's what you get on The Marc Cox Morning Show. Coming up: Michael Morris of the Media Research Center on Big Tech's suppression of the Graham Platner story. The final hour of The Marc Cox Morning Show delivers a powerful mix of tribute, accountability, and encouraging economic news. Senator Eric Schmitt honors the late Lindsey Graham while slamming Democrat obstruction on deporting violent criminals and confirming his support for Missouri's tax-cutting Amendments 4 and 5. Marc and Kim correct the record on the Home Run Derby rules and call out Joe Scarborough for pushing manufactured outrage over a justified ICE-related shooting in Maine. Media Research Center's Michael Morris delivers a bombshell: Apple and Google systematically suppressed damaging Graham Platner coverage from millions of voters during the Maine primary. The show wraps with genuinely good news — June inflation dropping to 3.5%, the biggest one-month decline in six years, even as renewed strikes on Iran raise questions about gas prices ahead. Marc signs off reminding listeners to grab his full voter guide at 971talk.com. Accountability, honesty, and unapologetic conservative values — that's the Marc Cox Morning Show, every single day. Today's Marc Cox Morning Show covered it all — grief, grit, and good news for St. Louis and the conservative movement. The show opened celebrating Cardinals rookie Jordan Walker's historic Home Run Derby win before turning to the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham and South Carolina's smooth transition installing his sister, Darlene Graham Nordone, to finish his term. Fox News' Lucas Tomlinson reported live from Tel Aviv as President Trump reimposed a blockade on Iran and resumed airstrikes for a third straight night. St. Louis Congresswoman Cori Bush faced relentless scrutiny throughout the show over her refusal to explain where tornado relief donations funneled through a dark money nonprofit actually went. Former State Senator John Lamping broke down major wins for school choice and conservative accountability in St. Charles County, while Senator Eric Schmitt paid tribute to Graham and confirmed his support for Missouri's tax-cutting Amendments 4 and 5. Attorney Mark Cantor delivered a powerful conversation on rising antisemitism in America, and Armed American Radio's Mark Walters covered the ongoing fight over the Illinois AR-15 ban. The Media Research Center's Michael Morris exposed how Apple and Google actively suppressed negative coverage of scandal-plagued candidate Graham Platner. The show closed on an upbeat note, with June inflation dropping to its lowest point in over six years. Faith, family, freedom, and common sense — that's the standard every single day on The Marc Cox Morning Show. Politico reports that Jenny Racicot, a 41-year-old Maine resident who dated Senate candidate Graham Platner, says he entered her home uninvited in late 2021 while intoxicated and forced himself on her as she repeatedly told him to stop. Why is the media still covering for him when they would have wrecked the life of any Republican facing even half of Platner's accusers? Platner still denies it: “These allegations are troubling, serious, and false. Any accusation of non-consensual behavior is categorically untrue.” His campaign calls the story “coached and coordinated by out of state establishment operatives.” But now even many his strongest supporters are calling on him to drop out of the race. Curtis Houck of NewsBusters walks through how the national media has covered the Maine Democrat as an “oyster farmer” despite recurring controversies including a tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol and a growing list of accusers. Eric Bolling, host of TheEDGE and a two-time New York Times bestselling author, discusses the spread of Flock surveillance cameras in American towns and what it means when, as one report put it, you “cannot get a breath of fresh air without us knowing.” Curtis Houck is the NewsBusters Managing Editor at the Media Research Center's News Analysis Division, where he chronicles the best and worst of the network evening newscasts, primetime cable shows, and late-night comedy programs. Tim Graham of NewsBusters argues that legacy media and Democratic voices are applying a consistent double standard in coverage of the Iran conflict, claiming outlets like CNN and figures such as Senator Chris Van Hollen frame U.S. military actions negatively while ignoring similar precedent under prior administrations. He highlights Thomas Friedman's CNN comments suggesting he is conflicted between opposing Iran and opposing Trump and Netanyahu, calling it an example of openly partisan thinking disguised as analysis. Graham expands on Media Research Center critiques that modern journalism increasingly abandons objectivity, instead shaping narratives around political outcomes rather than consistent standards, particularly in foreign policy and war coverage.
