Hey Pomcats, welcome to your favourite pick'n'mix of knitty chat, including an interview with the dynamic designing duo Joji Locatelli & Veera Välimäki! We've also got Text Files and Top Three. Thanks to Ritual Dyes for sponsoring this episode!
I may not have been podcasting much over the past few weeks, but I sure have been knitting!! It is very likely that my podcasts will be a little sporadic over the summer as I try to balance everything I want/need to get done. My intention is to have WIP and FO jam packed shows when I do record though.I've been on a bit of a sweater kick (appropriate for a hot dry spell, right?)...and the four sweaters in question are -Hiro by Julia Farwell-ClayMiranda by Josée PaquinTolmie by Josée PaquinWhispers by Veera VälimäkiI am totally loving the Mule Spinner 2-Ply from Custom Woolen Mills, and plan to buy at least one more sweater's quantity once I've finished knitting Tolmie. A rainbow of Tolmies perhaps? Today I was wearing my Pebble Beach Shawl by Helen Stewart. I knit this one out of Habu Tsumugi Silk, and it is absolutely perfect for summer!
Joji Locatelli tells the beautiful story of how she got started knitting, designing, and collaborating with Veera Välimäki on the Interpretations collections.
