This week we're taking with two of Moser's summer interns, Adam Lowder and Ethan Murphy about the effects of AI in the classroom.Ethan is a rising junior at Purdue University studying finance with a concentration in leadership, he spends most of his time invested in extracurricular activities such as the Larsen Leaders Academy on campus where he is the Vice President of Data Analytics, he offers a unique experience with AI having competed in a case competition as the main driver being generative AI, along with utilizing AI in the classroom. Adam is a senior at Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis studying Supply chain management and International Business. He is a dedicated worker and problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, a certification that signifies expertise in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. This approach focuses on improving efficiency and quality in supply chain operations through data-driven decision-making and process optimization. Adam is a business operations analyst for the summer at Moser Consulting.
Two of Moser's top consultants, Shannon Call and Anwar Eaton, are joining us this week to discuss UX Design.Shannon's excitement for user experience comes from her relentless drive to improve products that don't function smoothly, constantly assessing which adjustments could enhance a product's functionality and user engagement. Her creative approach—no matter the medium—is to create an enjoyable experience and to ultimately be an advocate for the end user. World Braille Day is a day that celebrates the life-changing impact of Louis Braille's invention and the accessibility it has brought to millions of visually impaired individuals worldwide.Tom overcame that significant challenge to utilize his knowledge of computer information systems, but didn't learn Braille until later in life. He is facing this new obstacle by continuing to learn Braille. Tom has 10 years of previous call center experience and brings more than his technical expertise, but also excellent communication skills to his work. This week's Ascii Anything features Mitch Isaacs of the Shafer Leadership Academy talking about leadership and embracing optimalism. Mitch has over 20 years of leadership development experience and was named Shafer Leadership Academy's Executive Director in May 2015. In this role, he works closely with the organization's board of directors to fulfill the mission of the organization. He is responsible for creating vision, connecting with stakeholders, administering program offerings and leading the organization in meaningful ways. He graduated from Ball State University in 2002 with a double major in History and Political Science and a minor in Counseling Psychology before completing his master's degree in student Affairs and Higher Education at Indiana State University. Mitch returned to Ball State in 2005 and spent the next 10 years as a working professional in Higher Education, including five years as the Director of the Excellence in Leadership program, and Coordinator of the Leadership Studies Minor.
Today we're joined by John McConda, one of Moser Consulting's Principal Consultants, to discuss how AI could be Judgement Day for testers.John is a Principal Consultant and serves as the Technology Lead for Quality Engineering at Moser Consulting. He has been working in Software Quality and Testing for over 20 years and is a speaker, writer, and teacher on Software Quality topics.
Chris Boyd, one of Moser Consulting's Principal Consultants is joining us today to talk about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or OCI. Chris is a Principal Consultant at Moser Consulting and serves as the Oracle Technology Lead. He has been with Moser for the past eight years and has been an Oracle Database Administrator for thirty years. He has experience in a wide array of technologies in the database, system administration, and development arenas.
