Tonight's episode is dedicated to the memory of our friend Classy Thomas Clarke aka SpongeBob SquareBalls. About a month ago we lost our friend and, in many ways, a big part of our heart. He was Collecting Weekly family but also a Just Another Friday Night alumni so that made him our family too. We miss him and we will never forget him. Tonight, we discuss The Last of Us season 2 and boy was it a ride. Episode 2 may have collectively killed the series for many fans but what did you think? Fans of the game knew this was coming. It has also suffered being called “force woke” but fans of the series know that this is the characters as they are. AA's son graduated so congrats Austin and that means guest hosts! We want to hear all your thoughts on the show!

“Rebellions are built on hope.” And after seeing the series finale we know they're also built on the back of Luthen Rael, and Kleya Marki, and Lonni Jung and of course Mon Mothma and Cassian Andor. This season was damn near perfect gang and it just got better as it went along! It's getting the critical acclaim and it's getting the fans acclaim. Tony Gilroy delivered a masterpiece and the worthy predecessor to Rogue One. It breaks our hearts to say bye to this one but we're here to give it its proper flowers and say goodbye to Andor but hello to bright burn of rebellion!

Andor IS back! The latest from Disney+ and Star Wars is the highly anticipated follow up season to the critically acclaimed original. Disney+ has told us that this is the final season of Andor and it makes sense as we are roughly 4 years out from the events of the Battle of Yavin. The Battle of Yavin refers to the events at the end of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. We also know that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is a direct lead in to A New Hope. Ambitiously this series has been dropping 3 episodes at a time, set about a year apart each. Tonight we're looking at the first 9 eps we've gotten so far and there is a TON to unpack! Just when you think you couldn't hate The Empire anymore Andor promises and delivers all new depths of loathing for Imperial scum!

The Devil is Alive! The Devil of Hells Kitchen that is and he's bringing his rowdy friends to Friday Night!! Pegged by some to be a slower, more paced version than the Netflix series, Disney+ and Born Again found closed this one out strong! Jon Bernthal returns as The Punisher and Charlie Coxs' Matt Murdock and Vincent D'onofrio's Wilson Fisk seemingly give to their battle with duality. The audience are the winners as Daredevil and Kingpin emerge prepared to do battle! Without Double A tonight we needed a double dose of Devil expertise! We've got Marvelous Mike Beck & The Rad One Gerry D. to be the army CM Chuck needs to wage war on this episode!

On April 1 we lost American acting icon, Val Kilmer. We grew up watching him and to Us he's one of the best to ever do it. He truly left his mark on film and he's one we won't ever forget. Roles like Doc Holliday, Jim Morrison, Iceman - are just a few of the iconic characters Kilmer came to embody. There are so many other roles to talk about though. Tonight, we want to celebrate the life and career of a man who lived his dream to the fullest. Thanks for always being there Doc!

Cap is back! With Anthony Mackie taking up the shield for his first time leading his own Marvel feature film. Joining him is megastar Harrison Ford taking over the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross for William Hurt. Hurt who sadly passed away in 2022 left a hole in the MCU as the government heavy. Mackie has a big shield to tout as one of the Avengers big 3 and their leader. In addition, Chris Evans portrayal of Steve Rogers is a fan favorite, but Marvel seemed poised to give Mackie a space to build from. Instead of dredging up a completely obscure Cap villain, they laid it out that Red Hulk was going to be part of the film. We're here to talk about it with you so suit up for the first of 3 Marvel movies for 2025!

Later we ran into him again at one of the Wonderland of the Americas shows. His book has a unique concept which grabbed our attention! The primary character wishes to end his life and he chooses to do so through vigilantism! Talk about going out with a bang! Deece has created a successful Kickstarter campaign for his book and we want to talk to him about the path that led him here! Join us for this sure to be bang-up conversation! The Netflix smash hit SQUID GAME returns for their much anticipated second season! Last season introduced us to Seong Gi-Hun played by Lee Jung-jae. While we didn't cover season 1 it wasn't for lack of trying and we will do our best to recap before we get into season 2. Originating in South Korea and with a primarily South Korean cast Squid is this generations answer to the Hunger Games and The Running Man! A ton of fun to watch with a cast of characters you both love and hate! This is the water cooler show people are talking about and we can't wait to talk about it with you!

Each of these men has been The Penguin from Batmans' rogues' gallery but though he hasn't donned the top hat and monocle - Farrell may be delivering the definitive portrayal of the character. First seen in Matt Reeves 2022 The Batman - Farrell was easily the standout as Penguin. Now we head back to the Iceberg Lounge with Oz in Max's newest series - The Penguin. Now unless you've been locked up in Arkham then you know that THIS is THE show fans are talking about. Farrell's portrayal of the low-ranking Penguin in the Falcons family and of course the incredible Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone is something special to watch. By now most have heard that latest Star Wars installment on Disney+ “The Acolyte” will not be back for a second season. Tobey Maguire donned the blue and red webbed suit and Marvel was never the same again. They'd had Blade, and they'd had the X-Men but now their flagship superhero was leading the charge. It solidified Tobey as Spider-Man at that time and made JK Simmons J. Jonah Jameson til this day. And it would happen for Raimi and Maguire two more times in 2004 and 2007. Completing the Raimi/Maguire trilogy to somewhat mixed reviews. On April 15, 2024 the Spider-Man movies returned to movie screens and presented a whole new audience an opportunity to see these films for their first time on the big screen!
