Peach Momoko's Star Wars Visions one-shot is a true masterpiece in form, style and storytelling, wordlessly conveying the past, present and future across pages and pages of electrifying illustrations. The Dark Droids event burns its way through the mini-series' namesake fourth issue and into the pages of Doctor Aphra #38, delivering a blow to the bodies of all involved, none more than Chelli Aphra herself in a deluge of body horror and, yes, introspection. The Fett's have an interesting history, and the Slave 1 even more so. Here's a video explaining everything in legends and canon regarding Boba Fett and Jango Fett's Slave 1 ship. In The Mandalorian Season 2 we see Boba return with the iconic Slave 1, which makes me wonder if he left it buried in the sands of Tatooine, or if he had it orbiting the planet like in legends. This video will cover everything you need to know about the ship, from weapons to previous owners, to the different missions it led Boba Fett and Jango Fett to in Star Wars. I think Boba Fett might die, and he will give the Razor Crest to Din and Grogu (once returned from Moff Gideon). Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
One of the coolest ships in Star Wars has returned from my favourite era...the Galactic Republic Naboo N-1 Royal Starfighter. I was so surprised when this showed up in The Book of Boba Fett (Mandalorian episode) and becomes Din's new ship! While the Razor Crest was epic, this ship takes the cake. So here are top 10 interesting facts about the Naboo N-1 Royal Starfighter Notice how The Mandalorian did spins just like Anakin Skywalker in The Phantom Menace? I can't wait for The Mandalorian season 3 to see how Mando redeems himself on Mandalore. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Theory time. With the last episode leaving us all wanting more Ahsoka, I have a feeling we won't see her again this season. I think her appearance was to set her live action performance for her own spin off show that will follow her and Sabine finding Ezra. I hope I'm wrong, and we'll see more. Now, as for Mando and Grogu, here's what I think will happen by the end of the season: With Mando's ship the Razor Crest having been blown up, this means Bova Fett will be his transport from here one in the Slave 1. We got to see boba badder than ever. In the next episode, we'll spend time getting Bill Burr's character out of jail, to find where Moff Gideon is hiding the child. What I'm thinking will happen, is that the child goes back to some lab base on a planet again, maybe near Thrawn's fleet, and this is where the next episode could end. With the season finale having an all out war like endgame on that planet. I think finally when Gideon fights the dark troopers and Moff Gideon, using his beskar spear against his dark saber, he will eventually beat Mando and take Grogu. The end of the season will have us devastated that Grogu might now die, until a Jedi arrives from Grogu's call. This could be either Luke Skywalker, Ezra, or Cal Kestis, or heck I mean it could be Mace Windu. I think, I hope, it will be Luke Skywalker. Luke is searching for students at this moment for his Jedi Temple, now that he strives to take the title of Grand Master. It is here that he will come to Mando's aid and season 2 will end with Luke's arrival, or some important Jedi we know. Season 3 will all be about Luke and Mando tracking the Empire to save Grogu and destroy Moff Gideon, which is where Thrawn comes in for extra fire power. Now here is where I think they could tie into Luke's disappearance in the sequels and make it somewhat logically explained for his character, because the way he ran away and hid, was just not Luke. I think Luke could end up saving the child in season 3, but among doing this, he'll learn of everything the empire might be doing and this is how Snoke secretly comes into contact with Ben Solo, since we know he's been manipulating him from a very young age. I think Snoke will play the role of a very influential and politically powerful being who is in one way or another, in the lives of Leia and Han Solo, to have come so close to their son. Snoke may say he knew Anakin and his fall to Vader, this could intrigue Ben and start his path down the dark side. As for Luke, it could lead to his fight with Snoke, which was mentioned in the canon comics. But at the end of it all, I think Luke will be so afraid of the empire taking his blood, with his mighty high M count from his father, that he'll go away into hiding, and this could be how they possibly tie Luke's sequel trilogy story to make a little more sense. It won't change how I feel about the whole thing, but it'll at least be a better explanation than him just being sad and scaring himself after trying to murder his own nephew. Now if it won't be Luke, then I could see Ezra coming into the show, perhaps Grogu on the seeing stone on Tython, once reaching out into the force, will be able to leave a trail back to him from those who can sense him, and with Ezra being lost in the unknown regions, or what I assume is him being lost, he'll find his way back from Grogu's call, and it'll be answered. Ezra could teach him the ways of the force, maybe the ways of both sides of the force since he was always teetering on the light and dark at times. Learn more about your ad choices. The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 2 is out, so here's my breakdown and easter eggs episode about all the moments you might have missed. The Mandalorian sets to find other Mandalorians to reunite The Child with its kind, and after Season 2 Episode 1 where Boba Fett watched him leave the Krayt Dragon scene with Cobb Vanth and the Tuskens, we all hoped to see Boba more in this episode. While we didn't, I feel we will see Boba Fett much later on in the season as he looms over each episode in the back of our minds. Mando set on an adventure that led him to breaking the Razor Crest in the process of finding new Mandalorians, coming into contact with some massive White Spiders which are taken from Ralph McQuarrie's original drawings from The Empire Strikes Back. In the end, The New Republic (Dave Filoni) saved the day, and he got off the ice planet to continue on with his mission. The episode added to Din and Baby Yoda's relationship, further connecting their strong bond of Father and Son. Other than that, as far as the plot line goes, it didn't do all that much, which leaves me excited for next week where the mission continues back on track. Learn more about your ad choices. Another throwback episode to when there was a huge Hasbro hullabaloo. Yes, they got dogged on quite enough at the time. Probably too much. But, we also had a much more nuanced discussion about the available models of business for consumer companies and where we would have hoped to see trends go. The Razor Crest has taken quite a bit of damage… a quick stop on Navarro for repairs reunites Mando and the child with some old allies. There's yet to be a stop that goes as planned so far… will this be the case on Navarro??
A Star Wars-loving adult and a Star Wars-obsessed child must join forces to build a miniature Razor Crest and prevent the destruction of the universe when they uncover a key that unleashes a time-traveling adventure full of iconic cameos and unexpected humor. Just kidding, but we do some show-and-tell with our Christmas gifts (including a mini lego Razor Crest) and rank the beloved Lego Star Wars Holiday Special. Tune in for the festivities! The episode follows Ray as she teaches Finn the ways of the Force and the prequel crew as they prepare for a Life Day celebration. Ray and BB8 find a special key that allows them to travel through time and interact with different characters from various timelines. The voice actors did a great job and there were lots of jokes and references. The technical aspects weren't the strongest, but the comedy, story, characters, and immersive universe all scored highly. There were cameos by Max Rebo and other characters, as well as jokes about the fandom, making it a charming holiday special. You'll learn:1. Where does the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special rank amongst the rest?2. What humorous references and cameo appearances did the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special include?3. Are you in control of your cloud-based infrastructure? Are you really? Most people would say, yes! They also probably think it's a well-oiled machine, something that's state-of-the-art. The reality is, it may have started that way, but as technology spreads out, things tend to shift from Star Trek to Star Wars. Tom uses this analogy to explain that reality is messy. Your cloud needs to function the way you need it to, right now. The work needs to get done and it will only get more complex. The grim reality, according to Tom, is that most cloud-based infrastructure is on life support. It works just well enough for you to think that everything is fine! It feels like you're on the Starship Enterprise when in reality, your cloud is more like the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Why does this happen? Why is the cloud so dangerously dirty, and some would say unstable, even for the top tech companies in the industry? Tom says there's a common reason for these issues, and these reasons aren't going to change anytime soon. What are they? Listen now to find out!
The latest episode of Star Warsologies is one of our panels from San Diego Comic-Con 2022! Presenting "The Mandalorian: Under the Helmet" We recorded this panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23, 2022. Moderated by host Melissa Miller, we brought out a group of experts to talk about where real-life jobs collide with our favorite Mandalorian's story. Panel description: The Mandalorian is a complicated character—a loner who becomes a loving caretaker, a bounty hunter who learns compassion. Host Melissa Miller (Nerdist, Star Warsologies) talks with experts about the man behind the mask. Psychologist Dr. Drea Letamendi (Arkham Sessions, Mindfulness-Based Therapy Using Star Wars) shares insight into Mando's changing loyalties. Real-life bounty hunter Matt Laird shares stories from on the job. Blacksmith and materials scientist Waltteri Vakki provides insight on the creation and significance of beskar arms and armor. Aerospace engineer and former Navy jet pilot Paul Wynns talks about piloting and maintenance of the Razor Crest and Naboo starfighter. And actor Chris Bartlett (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett) ties it all together with his experience playing mercenaries, teachers, and bartenders in Star Wars. In Star Warsologies, hosts James Floyd and Melissa Miller combine their love of Star Wars with their keen interest in all things academic by asking experts about how their field is represented in a galaxy far, far away.
