Hey there,It's Michelle here, and I'm excited to invite you to a special encore presentation in podcast form! This time, I'm bringing you something truly impactful: The Autism Moms Problem Behavior Workshop. This workshop resonated deeply with parents last month, and I believe it's going to do the same for you. Here's why:Many of us are on a mission to solve the problem behaviors our children with autism might exhibit – whether it's running away, self-injury, aggression, or even unique behaviors like licking hands. While these symptoms demand attention, focusing solely on them can leave the real cause unaddressed. In this episode, I take a deep dive into what lies beneath these behaviors and offer strategies to solve the cause – not just manage the symptoms. It's a game-changing perspective that empowered many parents who joined me live. I'd love for you to hear it too. Can't wait for you to listen and share your thoughts!Warmly,MichelleP.S. If you have questions about managing problem behaviors in your child with autism, feel free to reply! I'm here to help.

I recently had a conversation with a mom that really made me think about how many parents feel like potty training their autistic child is optional. But here's the truth: It's not. We can't let the autism diagnosis make us believe this is something we can skip or push off. Potty training is essential, not only for your child's independence but for your family's daily life.In this episode, I share why it's crucial to stop seeing potty training as a “nice-to-have” and start treating it like the necessity it is—just like water. No matter how hard it may seem, I'm here to tell you it can be done, and you don't have to do it alone. You'll also hear about how I've helped thousands of families, just like yours, navigate this journey—and why the result is worth every disruption.P.S. If you're ready to finally take this step, let's chat. I'd love to help you get your child potty trained once and for all.Talk soon,Michelle

Hey everybody, Michelle here and I want to apologize. It's been a while since I've been podcasting. We've been so busy. We have so many new families that have joined the champions for our children masterclass, and my new membership next level autism. So if you guys ever want any information on that, you can always email me at michelle@michellebrogers.com. But today's episode is actually an excerpt from a workshop I just recently did. I think one of the most important things as parents of children with autism is that we try a lot of things. And a lot of things that we try might not work and we get very frustrated. And then sometimes we believe, because we've been socially conditioned, that the autism diagnosis may make it that our child can't learn. I don't believe that. But because we might have that kind of playing in the back of our heads, we may start and stop things like potty training or teaching our kids how to communicate or stop problem behavior. So I think one of the more powerful things that I can share with you is kind of hearing everything that you've tried and understanding why you think it hasn't worked and then actually tell you why it hasn't worked and give you a path forward. So this podcast episode is dedicated to doing just that you're going to hear me coaching spas parents, who are who were brave enough to come forward on this webinar to allow me to hear their stories. Hear what they've tried, it's gonna it's gonna you know, you know tug at your heartstrings but once I once you see me coaching them, or you hear me coaching them through this, I hope it brings clarity for you too. So sit back listen and enjoy and I hope to speak with you soon. Ostia that squares I'm going to bring you up so what's going to happen guys your screen is going to blank, you're going to come up as a panelist and I want to hear all about your baby and let's get let's get to coaching

"Hey there, parents! Today, I want to talk to you about something that's all too familiar for many of us – chaos in parenting. So, let me share a recent consultation call I had for my group coaching program. During these calls, parents interested in the program tell me about their challenges and goals. But this time, something stood out.I was on the call with a mother and father eager to help their son with potty training and communication. However, throughout the conversation, they couldn't sit still. They were constantly moving, taking turns on the phone, and juggling various distractions. This was supposed to be a 45-minute Zoom call, but it felt like a whirlwind. We all agreed that their child's potty training and communication were top priorities. But here's the kicker – their energy felt frantic and scattered. So, I had to be honest with them. I told them that while I believed my program could help, their chaotic energy was a concern. I'm pretty direct, you know. The dad was taken aback and even offended by my comment. They explained they had three young children, all under five, and they had to make dinner during our call. Join me in this episode as we discuss why addressing chaos in parenting is essential for achieving your goals."

Welcome to the "Autism Mommy's Potty Talk" podcast. I'm Michelle Rogers, an autism mom and life coach, specializing in assisting parents of non-verbal children with autism to navigate the journey of communication and potty training. In this episode, after discussing breaking down potty training into multiple segments in the last podcast, today I'm dedicating this episode to tackling the challenges of teaching your child to handle poop separately. Much like my recent experience of potty training my cats, I've come to appreciate the value of patience and commitment in achieving long-term goals. The same principles apply when training children on the autism spectrum. The gradual process involves assessing your child's abilities, focusing on small wins, and understanding the sensory differences between pee and poop. Remember, it's all about building a strong foundation for successful potty training, just like my endeavor with my cats. So, let's delve into the specifics of poop training and how it fits into our comprehensive potty training plan.Get Free Access to my 10 Minute Training Here https://michellebrogers.com/training/
