The official PurpleChop podcast. We ramble on about a lot of random stuff, but we all love video games. And Ghost.
Once again, and for the last time, the boys got together in person to record our favorite style of episode, The Megasode. In this bittersweet edition, we tackle the same categories for the year of 2024, knowing that it will be our final time getting together for this purpose. As always, thank you to everyone who stuck around the past 8 or so years. We had a fun time doing this, and given the state of our current lives decided it was probably time to hang it up. Stay tuned on our website (thetalkshoppe.com) for a more permanent archival solution. We'll keep this podcast available for as long as we can! Thank you all once again, and thank you to my dear friends and co-hosts for 8 great years of goofing around.
Well, we're back to where it all started. Pushing ten years of doing this thing. What a wild ride it has been. Thanks to all of you out there who have been loyal listeners (for some reason) for all these years. We still have one last ride in us, and we'll be doing it in style with the final MEGASODE of all time. For now, please find enclosed a regurgitated theme from 9+ years ago, for your listening pleasure. Thanks!
Welcome back everybody! On today's episode, the boys chat about Tom's recent trip to Northern Europe. As is tradition, there are a myriad of rabbit trails, non sequitur, and general tomfoolery as well. Note from the editor: "I forgot to mention that apparently everyone in Northern Europe has a sever allergic reaction whenever a fan or AC unit is around, so they were, at least in the places we stayed, nowhere to be found. Also Stockholm was having a RECORD heatwave. And we all had traveler's colds. It was quite miserable." ~Tom Oh and here's the blog if you are interested: https://krownbakeryandeatery.com/nordic-trip-2024
Hey y'all, we're still alive! Not for long though. You may have noticed that our release schedule is non-existent. It has become increasingly difficult to find time to do these episodes, and a lot of the time, we all kind of wish we were just hanging out, not recording. So, with that in mind, we will officially be ending this podcast by this next February. It's been real, but it's time to move on to greener pastures. At any rate, here's another episode, and there are more to come before we're done. Cheers, The Talk Shoppe Gang
Just when you thought we were gone... We are BACK with a much delayed Megasode to summarize the year of 2023. You all know the drill: we meander through music, television, movies, video games, and disappointments in typical scatterbrained and raucous fashion. If it can be a joke, it will be a joke. So join us, if you will, in our continuing journey to bring laughter and entertainment to up to 10 people! WE'RE NOT DONE YET!
