The Orange were lost on offense, a sieve on defense and fell to 15-15 (6-11 ACC) overall All eyes are on moving on from Adrian Autry as head coach, an unavoidable scenario now, and the cavalry that needs to come in to save SU basketball. The first step took place on Tuesday with the appointment of Michael Haynie as SU's new Chancellor. Brent Axe chats live following Syracuse basketball's 79-78 win over SMU on Saturday afternoon. Syracuse trailed SMU by 12 points but came back to clinch the win a Nate Kingz drive with 2.3 seconds remaining.  Axe dicsussed how SU made the comeback and credited Adrian Autry and the Orange for how they have played in the last week after hitting a low point at Virginia last week, a game in which Kiyan Anthony was benched. SU shot 32% (20-63) with a 7-30 (23%) mark from 3-point range against the Jayhawks. SU struggled from the free throw line against Kansas, shooting 13-23 (56.5%).
