Frank Murphy is joined by author Gene Masters, who has published seven books including the war novel Silent Warriors and the mystery novel Bobby Doyle Is Missing. Frank is currently reading The Dry Cleaner.  Frank took a break from recording podcast episodes while he was recording 58 episodes of Scholars' Bowl and 4 episodes of Up Close for East Tennessee PBS during October and November.  The shows will air in 2023.  Frank and his wife Jere took on the additional responsibility of preparing the questions used on Scholars' Bowl. They also wrote new questions and rewrote many of the old ones.  Gene's bestselling book is Silent Warriors, which is about a submarine captain during the war. The Dry Cleaner is the first in a series of books featuring detective Rich Vittelli.
