The Thought Leader Revolution Podcast | 10X Your Impact, Your Income & Your Influence

“You gotta connect with somebody before you can convert somebody." Building a thriving business isn't about chasing the next shiny tactic—it's about engineering a system that connects, converts, and compounds. That starts with a clear vision: what you want, what you don't want, who you are, and what you stand for. Without clarity, you're building by accident. With it, you're building by design. Add in lead machines, education-based conversion events, and the right branding, and you've got a scalable, sustainable engine that works even when you're not. Dan Kuschell brings decades of entrepreneurial insight into play, mapping out the five pillars of business growth: vision and growth plan, connection campaigns, lead machines, conversion events, and going deep. He shares the “10 Cent Trust Trigger” and explains how to build visibility, trust, and leads on a shoestring budget—without burning out or burning cash. It's strategy over hustle, architecture over guesswork.  Dan is a business growth specialist, founder of Breakthrough3x, and the author of Direct Response Branding. He's helped companies generate over $2 billion in client growth and specializes in building marketing systems that scale without sacrificing health, family, or sanity.  Expert action steps:  1. Take Care of Your Health  Without your health, nothing else matters.  2. Get Clear on What You Want  Know the business you want—and don't want—based on who you are.  3. This is a conversation I have with clients and potential clients ALL THE TIME! I hope you can relate. Do you ever set a goal and then when you accomplish it, you don't feel as awesome as you thought you were going to? Yep, me too. Here's the question to ask when setting goals: "What do I think I'm gonna get when I hit the goal that I say you want?"   Most of us, without asking this question, lack clarity. We end up hitting a goal that is only 10% of what we actually wanted (but never said). Listen and hear how this coaching question unfolds clarity on why clients actuallywant that goal in the first place. Acknowleging what they really do want (but aren't saying!) and build systems to track all of it.

Your future's so bright you've got to wear SHADES -or remove them? THE GIVE OF UNCERTAINTY IS YOUR NEXT EVOLUTION.Uncertainty in your life feels like driving through dense fog.Turning on the brights only worsens visibility, just like working harder does when you feel aimless or stuck. You don't need to see miles ahead to continue to move forward, but moving forward does require you to reduce your speed to a pace that feels irritating, even unbearable. If you keep moving forward one step at a time, eventually the fog does lift. More importantly, taking small steps builds your capacity to withstand the discomfort of uncertainty (which, let's face it, is basically life itself).Over time, your association with this discomfort gradually shifts from "I'm getting nowhere" to "This is normal/part of it," to even "This is a sign that I'm on track."The gift in uncertainty is the opportunity to build self-trust.Self-trust doesn't mean you always know the answer right now.Self-trust is the belief that when an answer isn't yet available, you have enough information within you to take the next step.It is the belief that you will figure it out, in time, one small step at a time.It is resisting urgency to get ahead because you know that your wisdom speaks loudest in the stillness of the present moment. We're taught that happiness is a future reward at the end of a checklist, but happiness is a present felt experience, an emotion that can only exist in the present moment. And so if happiness is the goal in your career journey, then slowing down doesn't mean you'll fall behind; it means the goal is getting closer. So with that said, this is the very construct that brings you into POWER WITH + POWER WITHIN structure I'll leave you with.Choice operates within various power dynamics, including power over, power under, power with, and power within. Each dynamic reflects a different approach to choice:Power Over: Often associated with domination, power over seeks to control others, frequently instilling the belief that there is no choice.Power Under: Characterized by subordination, power under operates under the assumption of having no choice.Power With: Collaborative in nature, power with recognizes and respects the choices of all involved.Power Within: Emphasizes personal agency and the intrinsic ability to choose, underpinning one's sense of empowerment.Which feels congruent? Why Your Purpose is a Cosmic Joke

Okay, sweet one, let's talk about the grand lie of having a purpose. Because hasn't everyone, at some point, stared into their organic kale salad and wondered, "WHY am I here?"Really, isn't that THE question? We're all chasing that deeper something, the elusive unicorn of purpose, because, well, we think it equals happiness. Glitter cannons and rainbows!Basically, aren't we all just hunting for joy through our jobs, our love lives, and maybe that overpriced yoga retreat? Because let's be honest, if those things led to misery, we'd be binge-watching Netflix instead. (Okay, some days we do both.)So, how do you actually find this magical life purpose? If you boil down every self-help book ever written (and I've read a LOT), two ideas bubble to the surface, like so much kombucha. They create two distinct, shall we say, *vibes* about Life.Vibe #1: Purpose is “Out There!”This is the story we're constantly sold, the narrative with all the bells and whistles. It's the idea that purpose and happiness are about *doing* and *getting*.What exactly are you supposed to be getting?Well, according to the marketing gurus (who are probably sipping martinis on a yacht somewhere), it's always - More! Better!More experiences, more influence, a passive income stream that makes your eyes water, a better house with a walk-in closet for your shoes, a better job that feeds your soul AND pays the bills, better sex (because, duh), and for the truly enlightened, a better, more Instagrammable spirituality. It's always *better* than what you've got right now, darling. But here's the cosmic joke: More and Better *never* actually deliver. As that wise old grump Ecclesiastes put it: "Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless! But…life is still amazing.” (Even he couldn't help but throw in an "amazing" at the end!)We all kinda know this, right? We feel it in our bones after every online shopping spree. Still, those clever ads keep whispering promises. So, we jump back on the hamster wheel, convinced *this time* it'll be different. A new job! A soulmate who understands our obsession with miniature dachshunds! A truly transformative experience involving a llama! The catch? It's always a future promise. "Once I _______, then I'll find purpose/happiness/meaning."Once I quit my soul-crushing job, I'll finally be happy.Once I meet Mr./Ms. Right, then I'll know what love REALLY is.The future, my friend, is perpetually "tomorrow." That's the lie behind Vibe #1. The “hedonic treadmill” will leave you exhausted and feeling slightly used. Vibe #2: Your Purpose and Happiness are *Here, Now* Because Honey, *You ARE* the Purpose. The mind really throws a tantrum at this one based on how we've been programmed to have a “PURPOSE.”What if the truth is ridiculously simple: You *are* your purpose? You're here to know and be your glorious, messy, authentic Self as you cast your VISION and allow the listening to answer your CALLING (more on this on my next series of purpose). Seriously, pause for a moment and let that sink in.You're here to express your utterly unique, wonderfully weird, creative Self fully, freely, and fearlessly.Everything else such as your creativity, your relationships, your questionable fashion choices – are just sparkling byproducts of you being *you*.Knowing and being yourself? That's the answer to "What is my highest purpose and the source of my deepest freakin' joy?"The hitch? We've forgotten who we are. From childhood, we get handed a cookie-cutter mold for the "Good Life" who to be, what to want, what success looks like. So, we spend our lives trying to squish ourselves into that mold, developing a seriously messed-up case of mistaken identity. Then BAM! Quarter-life crises! Mid-life meltdowns! (It's all very dramatic, really.) So, how do you start?Embrace the Disillusionment, Darling. If you're feeling a little… blah about life, congratulations! You're right where you need to be. Disillusionment is inevitable. We no longer grasp to who we thought we were, and the one “purpose” we have in this life - and feeling that pressure!Even if you achieve all the things, the shine wears off. (That's just physics.)Own it. There's wisdom in that “blah” feeling. The pain of disillusionment can unlock a whole new, glittery world of freedom and possibilities. Why?Disillusionment means shedding the illusions. Seeing through the B.S. The cultural story that says purpose is “out there” is just a cleverly disguised sales pitch. You've checked the boxes, achieved the goals. But how long did it last? How long before you were chasing the next spiritual high?Spiritual goals are fabulous, but notice how we're always trying to *escape* those uncomfortable feelings. We launch projects, start cleanses, binge-watch cat videos. But eventually, we're back to the same damn questions.Wherever you go, there you are (and your existential baggage). So, you might as well embrace it.Disillusionment is an invitation. Like a pang of hunger, it's your True Self nudging you toward the truth.Look around. Mental illness is on the rise. Loneliness is an epidemic. People are quietly quitting their lives. Clearly, something's gotta give. The way we work, the way we live, the way we define "purpose"… it's all crumbling. That old story that purpose is “out there” keeps us stuck. That's the real question, isn't it? Who are you?Or, more accurately, *what* are you?Time to reframe this, Darling. What Is Your Vision and Soul Calling?A Vision is the art of seeing life's possibilities unfold—a profound and intuitive process that bridges the gap between your inner truth and the external world. It invites you to see not only the road ahead but also the unseen opportunities that lie along your path. Unlike conventional purpose driven vision, which often confines itself to specific, tangible goals, a calling embraces the unknown and empowers you to trust in the unfolding of your life's purpose. It is both a lens and a compass, helping you navigate toward your authentic self. The roots of the word “vision” are steeped in ancient wisdom. Derived from the Proto-Indo-European WEID, meaning “to see” or “to know,” the concept of vision transcends time and space. It reminds you that seeing is not merely a physical act but a deeper knowing—a connection to clarity and purpose that originates from within. THEREFORE. The vision Creates the PATH. Your Calling, is your Life's pursuit of multiple variations as a creator - offering insight and guidance that arises organically from your inner self, rather than being dictated by external expectations.Kassandra

1. Pray & Seek God's Guidance   Ask God to reveal the right path for you and to give you peace and clarity about where to focus. Look for confirmation in scripture, opportunities that naturally open, and the desires God has placed on your heart.   2. Identify What Energizes You   Think about: What do you love talking about endlessly? What have women naturally come to you for help with? When you look at your past work, what felt most fulfilling and aligned? What could you teach for free and still feel excited about?   3. Define Your Core Message   If you had a microphone and could share one core message with thousands of women, what would it be? Write down: The transformation: What change do you want to help women achieve? The audience: Who exactly are you speaking to? (Be specific!) The method: How do you want to help them? (Coaching, content, courses, retreats?)   4. Test & Experiment   If you're unsure, don't overthink—start taking small steps: Host a free workshop or masterclass on a topic that excites you. Create a short coaching package to test an idea with a few clients. Poll your podcast audience or social media community about what they struggle with most.   5. Look for the Fruit   Pay attention to what brings results for your audience and feels fulfilling to you. Often, clarity comes after you start taking action, not before.   6. Make a Decision & Commit   At some point, you'll need to decide. Even if you tweak it later, commit to a path and build momentum. Trust that God will refine your purpose as you move forward.     Ps: If you are ready to finally see how you can bring in thousands of dollars per week while just doing a few simple actions (and never feel like you *HAVE* to work an 8 hour day again)? To have clear direction in your day to day activities so you can easily implement strategies for more simplicity in your life and biz? Then 5 weeks to 5 figures course is for you! Check the link below
