TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen. Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. And now Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, Joy. Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life. Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, they kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ. Amen. We need the nourishment of God's word to grow strong as Oak trees, it's like a plum line that causes us to be strong and straight as Palm trees, and Cedars. We should grow Jesus' righteousness through grace by faith. Righteous character can not be created through fiat.

Children who are as strong and fruitful as olive trees don't grow automatically. They come to those who fear the Lord and who walk in His ways. Godly children are often a byproduct of godly living. In today's devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef challenges us to train our children to be spiritual warriors rather than consumers of culture. When it comes to Christian living, willpower is not going to work, because our will is broken. We must be committed to building our heart! We must cultivate the atmosphere where God can work in our hearts, because if our hearts don't follow Jesus, ultimately, we will only see shallow, surface level, transformation.

This episode of "The Franchise Life" highlights an incredible brand called Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers. Fyzical's Vice President of Development, Chris Hincker, joins the podcast to provide listeners with insight into what has contributed to Fyzical's massive growth over the past ten years, resulting in over 500+ locations nationwide. As the world's most prominent physical therapy franchise, Fyzical sets the tone for the entire industry and has provided immense opportunities for investors nationwide to own a medical business franchise without having a medical degree! That's right. By hiring a clinical director to oversee the practice, you can invest in Fyzical and become a part of this highly successful franchise system. Fiyzical provides traditional physical therapy services, including injury and surgery rehabilitation and specialty services like pelvic health, audiology, etc. A big differentiator for Fyzical is their proprietary Balance and Vestibular therapy for people who suffer from balance disorders like vertigo. This offering is critical because approximately 40% of the adult population will experience balance and dizziness issues in their lifetime, and very few medical professionals treat these disorders. And the investment opportunities are bountiful with Fyzical. With several investment models, such as owner-operator, semi-passive, and area development opportunities, potential franchisees can choose the best path that fits their lifestyle and financial goals. Season 3, Episode 14 - This season, Eric and Joel bring one (fairly) current topic each and wonder together what our response to these issues might be from our perspectives of faith. Eric's issue - After the Uvalde shooting, do we have too much freedom? Are we using our personal freedom (rights?) in opposition to our own communities? How can we tip the balance back to where our communities support our healthy personal rights and freedoms, and our personal freedoms build up our safe and healthy communities? Scandinavia and their Ability to Balance Freedom and Responsibility Joel's issue - Has our work become our faith? Is work replacing faith/religion as our primary community of purpose? Do we measure our value on the planet by our work and pay instead of by our integrity, ethic, truth, and wholeness. Instead of making lives better, we immerse ourselves in making our product, service, or checking account better. What happens when this religion of work fails us? Where is grace in the corporate world? Season 3, Episode 13 - This season, Eric and Joel bring one (fairly) current topic each and wonder together what our response to these issues might be from our perspectives of faith. Eric's issue - Adults in Eric's congregation just went through a b'mai mitzvah, or an adult ceremony of joining the covenant people, followed by a lovely time of fellowship, the first in a few years. What do these rites of passage mean in faith traditions? Why do some people of faith stop learning and growing? What does it mean to celebrate adult rites of passage in faith? B'nai Mitzvah tradition in Reform Judaism Joel's issue - A journalist was most likely killed by Israeli security forces. Then Israeli security attacked her funeral procession. Is violence ever okay up at oppressive forces, or down from security forces against acts of rebellion? How do Israelis and Palestinians live beside one another in a new way? What is the responsibility of those in power to not use their power in violence against those under their authority? How can we hold those in power accountable when they use violence without due wisdom and restraint? Season 3, Episode 12 - This season, Eric and Joel bring one (fairly) current topic each and wonder together what our response to these issues might be from our perspectives of faith. Joel's issue - A top executive at a brewery in NC discussed three key character traits needed in all who come together at the brewery... quality, integrity, and respect. Looking back, there are so many changes and innovations behind them. Does that mean change and innovation are inevitable? What reasons cause change? When does a congregation make the next big step?
