De carrière van voormalig hockeybondscoach Marc Lammers is goud omrand. Het was aan de zijde van Tom van 't Hek waar hij zijn eerste stappen op het nationale toneel maakte. In de 90's was Lammers zijn rechterhand langs en buiten het veld. Na een uitstap bij het Spaanse nationale dameshockeyteam, vraagt de KNHB hem om Van 't Hek op te volgen. Samen met de Oranjedames vindt hij de weg omhoog. Na zilver op de Spelen van 2004, volgt goud in 2008 in Beijing. Tijdens die laatste Olympische Spelen introduceerde Marc Lammers ijsbaden. Een beslissing die hij nam op basis van overtuigende data: de hartslag en ademhaling herstelden sneller en speelsters voelden zich beter. Daarnaast werden het momenten van nabespreking en groeiden het team meer naar elkaar toe. Aan het trainerschap komt in juli 2014, na een bondscoachschap bij het Belgische mannenhockeyteam, een einde. Lammers besluit om vanwege persoonlijke redenen te stoppen. Inmiddels is hij actief als coach in het bedrijfsleven. In For the Love of the Game ging Joris van Zoelen met Lammers in gesprek over de lessen die het bedrijfsleven kan trekken uit de wereld van de topsport. "Vier nou eens wat vaker de verbeteringen in plaats van de successen. Want succes, daar moet je heel lang op wachten. Succes is vaak afhankelijk van heel veel factoren. Waar je wel 100% invloed hebt, is op je eigen verbeteringen." Presentator Pieter van der Wielen ontvangt in het eerste uur van De Perstribune oud-Radio-Tour-de-France-iconen Tom van 't Hek en Ferry de Groot. In het tweede uur is columniste en oud-wielrenster Marijn de Vries te gast. Tom van 't Hek en Ferry de Groot zijn radiomakers die allebei op hun eigen manier een stempel hebben gedrukt op Radio Tour de France. Van 't Hek, voormalig hockeyinternational, bondscoach en huisarts, was jarenlang een vertrouwde stem op NPO Radio 1 als presentator van Langs de Lijn en Radio Tour. Ferry de Groot was de man achter de schermen van NOS Sport en dus ook van Radio Tour de France. Als regisseur en chef d'equipe maakte hij heel wat 'tourdefransen' mee. Ook maakte 'Meneer De Groot' samen met André van Duin de Dik Voormekaar Show. Marijn de Vries is columnist, wieleranalist en voormalig profwielrenster. Op haar dertigste begon ze aan een opmerkelijk experiment: onderzoeken of je op latere leeftijd nog topsporter kunt worden. En dat lukte. Na haar actieve carrière groeide De Vries uit tot een bekende stem in de sportjournalistiek. Ze schrijft onder meer columns voor NRC, maakt de wielerpodcast Vlammen en begin augustus is ze tijdens de vrouwen-Tour weer op de Vlaamse tv te zien met haar eigen wielertalkshow Allez les Femmes.
