Dairy farmer, Paul Hyland, who runs the farm with his brother David near the village of Ballacolla, Co. Laois, joins Stuart Childs on this week's Dairy Edge to discuss silage quantity and quality. They have an objective to provide 4-5 bales of quality silage to feed cows in the autumn and again in the springtime but also have a July reserve to be prepared for dry weather at that time of the year. Paul discusses how they cut covers of 2500-3000 kg DM/ha, baling out at 4-5 bales per acre ideally until they have the reserve they need and then they will focus on main crop silage. Interestingly, the Hylands always split their fertiliser applications to give themselves options with silage ground. Also they plan silage, targeting to cut younger, more recently reseeded ground for the quality silage. Finally, Paul explains how the frequent cutting system that they employ on their farm delivers the same quantity of silage at the end of the year but far better quality than big bulky crops. One dose of Claritin sent me into a terrifying spiral of depression and dark thoughts that changed my approach to seasonal allergies forever. In this episode, I share my frightening experience with Claritin and why I now rely exclusively on natural remedies. After moving to Virginia's Shenandoah Valley (the pollen capital of the United States), I developed severe seasonal allergies for the first time in my life and turned to Claritin for relief. What happened next was shocking. Within days, I experienced severe depression and disturbing thoughts that disappeared completely when I stopped taking the medication. This little known but documented side effect of Claritin led me to research and develop a comprehensive natural approach to managing seasonal allergies. In this episode, I break down my five part strategy for handling allergies naturally, including homeopathic remedies, nettle leaf tinctures, essential oils with antihistamine properties, and gut health support. Whether you're dealing with mild seasonal discomfort or debilitating allergy symptoms, you'll learn practical, natural alternatives that provide relief without dangerous side effects. In today's episode, we're chatting about: • The documented but rarely discussed neuropsychological side effects of Claritin • How homeopathic remedies like Hylands and Rin Allergy provide fast relief • The power of nettle leaf as a natural antihistamine • Essential oil blends that reduce allergy symptoms • The connection between gut health and seasonal allergiesEpisode Resources Shop My Seasonal Allergy Wellness CabinetShop Wyld NotesGet 10% off a Wyld Notes Discovery Set + a $20 coupon towards your first purchaseWatch on YoutubeMentioned in this episode:Toxin Free Faves adsHead over to toxinfreefavorites.com to shop all the toxin-free goodies that you would find in my home. Get Season Two of Pillow Talk HERE: https://pillowtalkpod.com(Apologies little Bitchettes for the sound quality this week, working out some bugs!)"This is the 100th episode of Dance Moms. So if you're drinking, cheers to that!" and for Christi that's the first of many drinks on this week's episode as Abby's shenanigans results in another off-screen call to the attorney. But it's a rough week all around as not only does the ALDC have the threat of the incoming select team, not only are they competing against Studio Larkin who they're unlikely to best, but unfortunately this was the weak that Mrs. Miller passed away.Things get off to a rocky start during pyramid, which sees Nia slotted at the bottom for reasons Abby appears to make-up entirely. This doesn't sit well with Holly who continues to feel they're becoming Abby's replacement for the Hylands. Maddie also takes the top spot despite not performing as well as Chloe did last week. Not to be outdone in her Chloe hate however, Abby states that Chloe won't be joining the filming of Mackenzie's music video this week to practice on her solo. Except Chloe was there at the behest of the production, but Abby caused a scene that left Chloe in tears. Chloe didn't even get to practice her solo (which was also clearly meant to be a Paige solo), adding insult to injury.Melissa is also starting to feel the strain of the situation during the music video shoot, which just so happens to take place at the Ziegler household. Joining for the shoot are the ALDC Elite Competition Team and Melissa quickly becomes annoyed with Elite Mom Christy "with a Y". Their resulting spat ends with Melissa kicking the mom out, but what really happened?Quotes“Ok so Kell, I hate this episode. I don't cause I'm not on it." (09:37-09:41 | Christi & Kelly)“I'm going to give Abby a little bit of grace here. I know, hold on.” (11:59-12:03 | Christi)“Holly is not gonna look like an asshole fighting with Abby the week her mom dies!" (41:00-41:04 | Christi)“The moment Melissa fought with Chrysty at her house, she signed her name on the dotted line that they were going to be on the select team." Get Season Two of Pillow Talk HERE: https://pillowtalkpod.com"This is one of the worst week's I filmed Dance Moms, behind the scenes," remembers Christi. Everyone's point of no return for the show was different, but for Christi it was during "Decisions Decisions" that Abby finally pushed her too far. It's a week so excruciating that it still weighs heavily on both Christi and Brooke, though it did gift us one of Christi's most iconic bits of profanity laden ranting.Abby welcomes Kalani to the ALDC proper as a replacement for both of the Hylands, leaving Payton out for good despite having been an actual student of Abby's unlike Kalani and Payton placing second on the Pyramid! The only person who kept her from the top was Kelly, whose "mug shot" makes the Top of the Pyramid as behind the scenes the legal battle between Abby and Kelly is officially underway. To add to the drama, Abby insists the girls all wear white costumes for the group number this week that already own, but Kelly just so happens to have two of them and Abby leaves it up to the moms to get them back. When Christi pushes back it results in a a slew of F-bombs that Abby does not want to hear. But was there more to this outburst than meets the eye? According to Christi there is a lot the cameras didn't show this week, and a lot of it was pretty bad to warrant a call to her own attorney.Meanwhile Cathy is back with the routine she pulled from competition two weeks prior, now more confident it's in tip top shape to beat the ALDC. It concerns Abby enough that she has a talking to with the judges to make sure they know their place. But will the behind the scenes drama at the ALDC keep the team from their 12th consecutive win?Quotes“I mean it's trauma bonding. Yeah! God, how many people in the world have trauma because of Dance Moms? Well for everyone else it's their comfort show!" (12:51-13:01 | Christi & Kelly)“Yeah Kelly it's Bourbon Street, you don't touch things!” (20:40-20:43 | Christi)“We got a big Pyramid this week. Then we have a surprise guest! Is it you? That would be me!" (23:13-23:22 | Christi & Kelly)“Oh, how exciting we have marabou." Get Season Two of Pillow Talk HERE: https://pillowtalkpod.com"Chloe is mortified. Just in case anybody is unclear about her face, she is mortified," explains Christi as this week's return to your regularly scheduled episode of Dance Moms is just as rough as it's always been. But on "Sister Showdown" things are especially dire for quite literally everybody, and that's pretty wild for a week where the girls take home all the top spots at competition! Maddie doesn't even make it out unscathed (tho she does in the final edit of the episode so tune-in for some tea).Abby still hasn't settled on a new team and welcomes Payton back into the fold. She even gets a spot on the Pyramid despite not being present at the previous competition, but Abby uses her placement to chastise Payton for crying in the dressing room on her last appearance. This causes Payton to cry and leave the room, leaving Leslie officially on the offensive against Abby this week. To let Payton prove herself, Abby makes her the lead of the group number "Lift You Up", inspired by the musical Kinky Boots. But between the garish costuming and iffy choreography, it's hard not to feel as though Abby is still setting Payton up to fail. For perhaps the first time ever, Abby gives solos to both Maddie and Mackenzie for a sister vs sister conflict. It's a lot of pressure for Mackenzie who has to suffer through Abby's constant comparisons between the two. Meanwhile Chloe takes the third solo, a contemporary called Follow You. With the Hylands gone the number of Abby's targets grows smaller, and Chloe is starting to feel the pressure to not end up on Abby's bad side.Quotes“Please know that nothing irritated Abby more than the fact that those kids kept winning." (22:11-22:16 | Christi)“Here's all I'm going to say. If any of the Dance Moms cast goes missing we'll only be missing for less than 24 hours. One of our fans will find us.” (34:49-34:56 | Christi)“It's crazy that like people love [Abby]. Who loves her?! Fans. Hmmm, they have bad taste." (50:40-50:48 | Christi & Kelly)“Leslie, I know we got into a fist fight in New Orleans. I couldn't have your back more here." "This was the greatest moment in Dance Moms history as far as I was concerned." exclaims Christi since Abby is away "with her mother" and Gia is left in charge on "Gone, Abby Gone". There isn't even a Pyramid this week, how could this not be the best week ever? Cause Abby still found a way to make it awful! But most of that wasn't shown on camera, so prepare for a lot of 4th wall breaking to find out what really went down that Fourth of July weekend in 2013.Kelly is contractually forced to bring her kids back to the studio. The show frames this situation as Kelly sneaking-in her kids while Abby is away, just to get Brooke that solo she 100% wants. This immensely upsets Leslie, who is convinced Kelly has it out for Payton and fears they will be kicked to the curb if Kelly returns. A feud begins to quickly fuel between the two moms, though Kelly doesn't have anything against Payton in reality, so it's rather one sided. Kelly takes the bold step to call Abby and request a solo for Brooke, to which Abby informs Gia that if Brooke is given a solo she'll be fired. Gia downplays the situation and gives Brooke a solo to practice, knowing what may come of it. To add insult to injury it's far and away the worst choreography Brooke has ever been given. When Abby calls in to give the Hylands a piece of her mind, she crosses a line with Brooke that suspiciously didn't make it to air.Christi also takes the crown for "Worst Dance Moms Outfit". So tune-in to hear Christi relive the horror of it all!Quotes“Paris Hilton's book... and she refers to us in there! Oh yeah, about how ugly our clothes are. It's not Dance Moms level ugly? Ok Paris fuck off! Shut up! I mean maybe...” (8:39-8:51 | Christi & Kelly)“Every time you show up Payton gets kicked back off the team. But that's not my fault. That's a TV show, there's only so many spots!” (26:23-26:29 | Christi & Kelly)“So you're in your white minivan with your bar of clothes in the back and they came up. Walk me through it. Were they like you need to ask for a solo? Absolutely. None of us wanted a solo. None of us wanted to even be back." (30:16-30:27 | Christi & Kelly)“Let's take a poll. Do you think it's hoodlum if you say the F-word or do you think you're a hoodlum if you break a beer bottle on someone's face?" Interview with Blake Hylands, CEO of Lithium Ionic Corp., Brendan Yurik, CEO of Electric Royalties Ltd.Recording date: 21 June 2024The lithium and battery metals sector presents a compelling long-term investment opportunity, despite recent market volatility. Industry experts believe these materials are critical to the global transition towards clean energy and electric vehicles, with demand expected to grow significantly over the coming decades.Blake Hylands, CEO of Lithium Ionic, and Brendan Yurik, CEO of Electric Royalties, both emphasize the sector's long-term potential. Yurik likens lithium to "the new oil," predicting it will gradually replace fossil fuels over the next 50 years. This transition is expected to drive double-digit annual demand growth for lithium and other battery metals for the foreseeable future. While recent price fluctuations have created uncertainty, experts view this as a natural part of an emerging market's development. Hylands notes that even after the recent pullback, lithium prices remain approximately double their levels from 4-5 years ago. This suggests that high-quality, low-cost projects can still generate attractive margins in the current price environment.A key factor supporting the investment thesis is the potential for a supply-demand imbalance. As the market expands, larger mines will be needed to meet growing demand. Investors are advised to focus on high-quality projects in favorable jurisdictions. Hylands highlights Brazil's Lithium Valley as an attractive region, comparing its geological potential to established producing areas in Western Australia. Supportive government policies and efficient permitting processes are also crucial factors to consider.Given the inherent risks in mining projects, diversification emerges as a key strategy. Yurik advocates for exposure to multiple projects and metals to mitigate risk. While lithium attracts significant attention, other metals like copper and tin also offer opportunities in the clean energy transition. In the current market environment, companies are exploring alternative financing options. Lithium Ionic's recent royalty deal with Appian demonstrates how companies can access capital while minimizing dilution at depressed equity valuations. For investors, royalty and streaming companies offer an alternative way to gain exposure to the sector with potentially lower risk. When evaluating investments, experts recommend focusing on projects with simple, proven technology, experienced management teams, robust project economics, and favorable jurisdictions. Hylands emphasizes the importance of low-cost, high-margin projects that can weather market volatility. While near-term sentiment remains subdued, industry participants see potential catalysts that could reignite investor interest. These include greater market clarity on supply-demand dynamics and tangible progress on individual projects entering production.Investors should be aware of risks, including ongoing market volatility, project development challenges, potential technological disruptions, and geopolitical factors affecting global supply chains. A long-term perspective is crucial, given the extended timelines involved in bringing new mining projects online. In conclusion, while the lithium and battery metals sector may experience continued near-term volatility, the fundamental case for long-term investment remains strong. For patient investors willing to carefully evaluate opportunities and manage risks, the sector offers exposure to a critical component of the global energy transition, with potential for significant upside as demand continues to grow.Learn more: https://cruxinvestor.com/categories/commodities/lithiumhttps://cruxinvestor.com/companies/lithium-ionic-corphttps://cruxinvestor.com/companies/electric-royaltiesSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
"Crabapples? I wonder how many things we can say that's not Candy Apples? We really go for it." observes Christi as the second half of "Clash of the Dance Moms" boils down to quite a lot of name calling and not much else. This week the ALDC is competing at Believe National Talent Competition in Lancaster, PA with Payton and Leslie filling in for the Hylands. Leslie is gunning for a permanent position, dragging Kelly's name through the mud every chance she gets and keeps reminding eveyroen to imagine a world in which she's a permanent ALDC fixture. While the insults to Kelly are music to Abby's ears, the rest of the ALDC unsurprisingly feels different as the only thing Payton brings to the table is sass, and they already don't need more of that! Even Abby's patiences gets tested by Payton's when the young dancer is revealed to be unprepared with her costuming, something Kelly and her girls rarely ever dropped the ball on.Anthony and Cathy continue to bicker over in the Candy Apples camp. Anthony threatens to leave if Cathy doesn't give him his space, he wants to insult her dancers as he sees fit. The show brings out Anthony's mother to admonish all those who would insult her son for his actions, expertly ignoring how vitriolic he is to everyone else. If there's one thing in Season 3 that continues to be annoying above all else it's Anthony being cruel and suffering no consequences for it!Tune-in to find out which fight this week was A LOT more tense in-person.Quotes“I just had another fraternity check-in next door. That's crazy. I don't understand why boys like pink houses. I don't know either. I'm telling you they're looking for Dance Mom Christi. They're gonna have to keep looking cause I'm not hanging out with fraternity boys. That sound illegal on a lot of levels.” (1:21-1:38 | Christi & Kelly)“I love that I'm not in this episode. I highly doubt that they would leave a TV show to follow you." (27:27-27:36 | Kelly)“No the competition is not fixed, but every judge that's rating the kids liked our kids because they liked them on Dance Moms. So was it fixed? No. Was it fair? No!" “This is all bad acting,” says Christi about the episode of Dance Moms titled “I Know What You Did Last Competition.” Like a pair of detectives, she and Kelly spend this episode of Back to the Barre pointing out all the behaviors that gave Melissa and Abby away as cheaters and (bad) liars. Abby and Melissa had conspired before the previous competition to scratch the cd containing Maddie's choreography music, knowing that judges would automatically declare Maddie the winner just for completing the dance uninterrupted. In this latest Dance Moms episode, Abby wields her trademark hypocrisy, Melissa uses clever wording and the two stage an over-the-top fake fight to try to cover it up. Nobody's buying it, though, especially with all they've learned in the last 11 years. The inherent problem with Dance Moms–and one of the many reasons they both agree children shouldn't participate in reality TV— is that the Moms are paid to fight, but Abby would take those fights out on their daughters. So Chloe, Paige and Brooke were constantly punished because Kelly and Christi carried the show. Abby knew this and took full advantage of it. Every week, the Hylands were set up–by Abby and the producers— to look stupid. This week, Abby used the costumes to humiliate them, putting the girls in the wrong sizes and not letting Paige wear the green dress so she could stand out. These days Abby hocks counterfeit versions of Paige's costumes and props online. The real ones remain packed away in Kelly's house. Christi shares her favorite-ever Lifetime movie and the random words that make her sick. Quotes“There are a lot of little clues–if you know Abby and Melissa–throughout this episode that I really caught on to…Normally in a situation like this Abby would have thrown it in the girls' faces, but here she wants to move on. She just dismissed it because…she would have looked guilty.” (20:51-21:23 | Kelly and Christi)“Abby tells the audience that she's going to take the contract that I signed and make me read it, because she doesn't think I read. I don't read. And let me tell you, if I was going to read something it sure as hell wouldn't be her contract.” (32:36-32:48 | Kelly)“This fight reads so insincere and fake from Melissa. Go back and watch it. It's so not real.” (41:57-42:09 | Christi)LinksSubscribe to us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC50aSBAYXH_9yU2YkKyXZ0w Subscribe to our Patreon: www.patreon.com/backtothebarreThank you to Ashley Jana for allowing us to use Electricity!! Sista avsnittet av Tre kronor, "The Red Wedding" i Game of Thrones, eller premiären för nya Sex and the City?Är ditt starkaste minne väldigt personligt, något som gjorde starkt intryck på just dig men gick många andra förbi? Two matches, lots of misses, overhead kicks and bottling boos up for discussion this week. Shirt of the Week is very familiar.
As a newspaper boy, Bill Vigars once almost set a school on fire -- which, in a bizarre way, eventually led to him running half-way across Canada with Terry Fox.That's just one of the amazing true tales you'll hear from a master storyteller who truly has a million of 'em. When I first met Bill, in the late '80s, he was the publicist for Night Heat, a CTV cop show that shot on an overnight schedule. It starred Scott Hylands and Jeff Wincott and was a rare, early example of a Canada-US cross border success, airing in both late night and prime time on the CBS schedule. That series was co-produced by Sonny Grosso, one of the legendary NYPD cops whose multi-million dollar heroin bust inspired the movie "The French Connection." Vigars once pulled a toy gun on Grosso and lived to tell about it.He tells other stories, too, about Donald Sutherland, Peter O'Toole, Kyra Sedgwick, David Foster and many others -- including Robert Duval, who played Vigars in a movie! We also talk about a fundraising effort currently underway on behalf of Hylands, an actor's actor in need after a challenging diagnosis. Vigars, still very involved in the Terry Fox Foundation, has always been ready and eager to help spread the word for a friend or a cause.

Mike Ehredt ran cross country on the same trails that the Hennepin Hundred race starts in Sterling, Illinois. His love of running has gave him the opportunity to run iconic races like Hardrock 100, Dragon Back Race in Wales (described as the World's toughest Mountain race) and was on the show Human Race. We talk about all the cool adventures that Mike has experienced and were left inspired to try his creative race!
It's a well-loved sport in Northern Ireland - particularly in places where the tracks are situated -, and one such home for Hot Rod racing is the Tullyroan Oval, where one of the best drivers in the country, Adam Hylands, honed his skills. Oval racing has a rich history in Armagh, where the Portadown Oval had a big following before it was built over by Shamrock Park. The love of oval racing in the Armagh region was sown however, and it was reignited in the area when Tullyroan Oval was built in 2011. For this episode of The I on the Ball, proudly sponsored by Blackhill Energy, we spoke to Adam about his hugely successful racing career.

Welcome mountain bikers! Thanks for tuning into The Inside Line podcast. Today we wrap up a candid interview with influential photographer, Ian Hylands. In part one we discussed his history and his impact on our sport, and today we get into his battle with Lyme disease and how that impacted his life. We dig into how he transitioned from a film photographer primarily shooting for print magazines to digital and internet-based work, his time as staff photographer at Niner Bikes, how he ended up at Deity components and a brief nod to the epic human we know as John Kerr, the photographer at Mountain Bike Action. We conclude with some photo tech with Ph.D-level insight into flash photography. It’s been an honor to have Ian on the show and I know you’ll enjoy the episode. At jensonusa.com, a long-time supporter of The Inside Line, you can get 20% off a single qualifying item when you use code SAVE20 at check out. Riding season is right around the corner, so get dialed at Jenson USA!Speaking of riding season, make sure your bike has the proper shoes for springtime shredding with Maxxis Tires. Maxxis has supported The Inside Line since day one and they continue to make our bikes grips, rip and roll.Have I mentioned riding season? springtime yet? Apply for a grant at the Paydirt fund to make your case known, we can all do our part. We’ll keep this week’s Listener response question nice and tight. What do you think about the prices of mountain bikes and ebikes these days? In just the last week, we had a few different new bike come out that blew past the $10,000 range. We also have some incredibly-performing budget bikes out there now. What do you think?Use your phone’s voice memo feature to record your response and email that recording to sspomer@vitalmtb.com. You can also send me a written response to the same address. I’ll feature the responses in the next Listener Response show this coming week. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this and, as always, all of us here at Vital appreciate your feedback and support of The Inside Line. Let’s do it! Thank you Hylands, now, where’s that spring time weather at!
In this episode we are in conversation with Peter Hylands, an accomplished publisher, film producer, writer and conservationist. Peter and Andrea make crucial, unique content about art and culture and nature, frequently working with first nations people and in some of the remotest places on earth.
Welcome mountain bikers. Thanks for tuning in to The Inside Line and thanks for your patience this week. We had some technical difficulties with the recording of Ian Hylands that you’ll hear today, but I’m stoked to report the interview was recovered after some painstakingly repetitive work, and the stories and history await through this special talk with one of our sport’s most influential and inspiring photographers.Ian and I talked for almost 3 hours and I’ve broken it up into 2 parts. Today we’ll learn about his journey into mountain biking and photography, his incredible depth in the mountain bike scene with one of the first north shore photos to ever run in BIKE mag in the early 90s…his journeys as Darren Berrecloth launched his career in the mountain bike world, road trips with Voreis, Lenosky and chase and so much more and so much impact on what mountain biking is today, whether directly or indirectly through his imagery. we don’t even touch on half of what he’s done for our sport, but it’s an honor to have this one on the record. thank you Ian. Thank you the listeners, enjoy the show.I just want to thank you all again for your responses to our question about flow trails and trail design in the last episode. The passion and diversity of opinions about how we ride make our sport great. thank you. On the topic of trails, have you heard of The PayDirt Fund? They’re pledging a million bucks over the next three years towards trail projects, local organizations, events...anything geared towards creating and strengthening opportunities for people to get out on the trails. The Inside Line Listener Response QuestionsSince our guest this week is a world-class photographer who’s made a living creating mountain bike pictures for magazines, riders and brands over the years, I figured we’d open the social media can worms for discussion this week. As Ian and I talked, we both recalled individual images that defined moments in our lives, images that crusty older mountain bikers like me would all probably remember because there were only a few places to look at mountain bike photos back then. Now I don’t remember photos or videos I saw last week because of the flood of content out there. And Vital is to blame for that flood, no doubt. My goal here is not to just shit on social media like a “back in my day” complaint. I think there are incredible benefits and positives to the accessibility of info we all have through our phones and places like Instagram. I want to know what benefits you get out of social media. What are you losing because of it? Do you make buying choices for or against something because of what you see on social media? Let’s open it up, let me hear your thoughts, pros and cons of social media, specifically related to mountain biking.Ideally, I’d LOVE to get an audio message about this from you, so it can play on our Listener Response episodes of The Inside Line. Use your phone's voice recorder and email your audio file to sspomer@vitalmtb.com. You can send me a written response to that email too, and I may read it on the show. As a carrot, you should know that if you send an audio file, you could be in the running for something special. I'll run the episode with your responses sometime next week and we’ll continue with part 2 of Ian’s interview on February 12th.Thank you - Maxxis TiresThank you - Jenson USA

Today, we are talking about Mary. Like Mary, Jesus' mother. She's not on the podcast, but I wanted to share some of my feelings about her example as a mother. We had a beautiful lesson with our teenage girls at church last week about the sacrifice and divine calling of Mary, and it was so tender I wanted to share some of those thoughts here. In addition, I wove some Christmas music in there, so if you want to hear my testimony about the Christmas season, here it is. Also, some of my dear friends helped me out on "Silent Night" by participating in a virtual choir.
Programledare: Thomas Nordegren Bisittare: Carolina Norén Producent: Jakob Runevad Kjellmer

Nude Clan: A Video Game Podcast | Part of the [Nude]Clan gaming network
This week, the clan invites goodman Troy Cavanaugh on for a review two months in the making; Tales of Zestiria. We also announce Persona 5 as the next game for Cameron and Craig. Live always in the [NUDE] Tales of Zestiria Tales of Zestiria is the fifteenth installment in the long-running Tales series. The game was announced on December 12th 2013 as the 20th anniversary title. The game was initially released for PlayStation 3 and 4 on January 22, 2015 in Japan, and October 20th, 2015 in North America. The game was released on Steam October 19th, 2015. Tales of Zestiria occurs on the continent named Glenwood. Glenwood is currently divided between two warring countries of Hyland and Rolance. The negative energy/emotions generated by people is manifested as what we know as “malevolence”. Malevolence transforms living, dead, and even inanimate objects into hellions. In addition to Humans, there are a group of supernatural humanoids and animals called Seraphim. Seraphim can interact with humans with a certain amount of resonance. Seraphim were once abundant, but have become scarce over time. Setting: The people of Glenwood refer to individuals who can interact with the Seraphim as Shepherds; individuals hailed as saviors, yet also feared for their immense power. Shephers appear during times of crisis. Seraphim can create contracts amongst themselves, the dominant figure is referred to as a Prime Lord, and a number of partners are called Sub Lords to support them. Glenwood also houses Dragons, who are seraphim corrupted by malevolence. Plot: Tales of Zestiria begins with two young explorers, Sorey and Mikleo (a seraph) exploring some ruins. They come across a girl, named Alisha Diphda, and bring her back to the village Elysia. Elysia is the home of the Seraphim, btw. Alisha heads home, and the party encounters a hellion called Lunarre, and follow Alisha home. The group encounters Lailah, a Prime Lord, who grants Sorey the power to fight the hellions. We then figure out that Alisha is the princess to the Hyland Kingdom. She joins the party to fight hellions, and the party sets out to fight malevolence. The main cause of this malevolence is a creature known as the Lord of Calamity. The party meets up with Edna, a earth Seraph, and Loli on the side, who joins up. Alisha ends up leaving the group because she’s a fucking resonance cazh, but ends up being used by Hylands military as a leverage to force Sorey and his friends to help them in their fight. This is when we first encounter Heldalf, the Lord of Calamity. Heldalf crushes Sorey, and before he is killed, he is rescued by an assassin named Rose. Once Sorey recovers, he discovers that the Shepherd must go on a pilgrimage to four shrines to gain strength and fight Heldalf. Rose finds out that she has high resonance, and becomes Sorey’s Squre, along with Guns N’ Roses Gutarist/Wind Seraph Dezel/Slash. One the group clears the four trials, they fall under the trap of Symonne, a fallen seraph/Queen of the Loli’s. Dezel reveals that his true plight is to enact revenge on Symonne for her role in the death of his friends, and sacrifices himself to assist Rose in the fight. The group confron the Lord of Calamity, who now wants to recruit our boy Sorey. We find out that the Era of Chaos that the game takes place in was created when the previous Shepherd turned Heldalf, a Rolance military general, into a cures immortal being by fusing him toe the seraph Motelus when he refused to provide aid to his village when it was invaded. This invasion, and failure, filled him with hatred, and thus turned him into the Lord of Calamity. We then find out that the village he failed to save was where our two friends Sorey and Mikleo were born. The party defeats the Lord of Calamity, Seraphim and Humans live in peace, and we get a cutscene where an adult Mikleo falls into a hole in some ruins, and is rescued by what is presumed to be Sorey.
Den gliiiider in i mååål (Hyland 62).
See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
