I'm Changing hosts over the next week, I apologize for any disturbances. UPDATE: Not changing hosts, and the backlog is safe! Everyone rejoice! PREVIOUSLY ON DAKOTAH SLADE PARANORMAL/DETECTIVE: Dakotah Slade is a broken love-lorn woman who has spent her life falling for the wrong kinds of men. Men who use her, dominate and abuse her, then leave her when they’ve had their fill. Her most recent failed relationship was with a very dangerous man named Cale. Wallowing in her grief and self-pity, she spent months at her favourite bar on an alcoholic bender, spending what little money she had left. It was there she remained, until one day her friend stepped into the bar and spontaneously combusted. Now she’s teamed with similarly “broken” rookie detective Anderson Richards to get to the bottom of a new threat in their city of Mississauga Ontario Canada. The victim’s girlfriend Brienne, told the unlikely duo that Alex had ingested some kind of glowing drug before the incident, and she led them to his dealer, a large man named Gareth. He resisted, but together they were able to take him down and drag him back to the precinct. They got their “brain train” to analyze drug samples, finding the pills to defy the laws of physics and share certain traits with a recently auctioned space rock bought by the mayor of the city. They visited the mayor, who gave them an unbelievable tale of magic, a once ancient force in the world long gone extinct, and a cult who want to bring it back. Returning to the precinct, their prisoner Gareth gave them the address of his supplier, and the duo went to investigate without any back up, a choice that was very much a mistake. They found the Tempus Cult at the address packing up to move, aware they had been compromised. Anderson and Dakotah attempted to confront the cultists, but were caught in the basement as the entire building exploded around them. Meanwhile, in Urban Fantasy 2x07, Andrew and Mike lost their friend to the very same Tempus cult, and they crossed the city line from Oakville to Mississauga to seek help from the Wizard Mayor. Instead of the mayor, they found Officer Sara Warley and Brain Train Makayla Davis investigating a theft. The two teens helped intercept the thieves and retrieve the stolen item, but not before the thieves disappeared through a portal. 1x03 “Scars” Released on http://www.patreon.com/99geek for June 2019 Everything you go through in life leaves scars. Today Scott shares a quote from the late great tennis star, Arthur Ashe: “I have always tried to be true to myself, to pick those battles I felt were important. My ultimate responsibility is to myself. I could never be anything else.” Scott talks about some of his mental health struggles how it's important to learn about who you are in life. Don't forget to check out this week's interview episode where Scott talks to former sportscaster, turned public speaker and CEO of the non-profit I'm Changing the Narrative, Rachel Baribeau. Rachel talks about her 17 years as a sportscaster and how her own life struggles lead her to start a non-profit to help young high school and college athletes discover who they are as a person, outside of their sport. Thanks for listening and keep working hard to unleash the champion within!

Our theme for 2020 is Even Further by Faith and the Lord told Pastor Matt, "You can't go further if you can't go further." If we're not healthy enough to do what God called us to do, we will not accomplish His will and fulfill our purpose in the Earth. In this episode, I'm Changed but I'm Changing, Pastor Matt encourages BWC to embrace the positive changes we've made during our 21 day corporate fast. Along with Bro. Chris Chavez, he teaches about the health benefits of intermittent fasting to lead to a better lifestyle to improve and prevent chronic illness. Welcome to RYFB with me, Ruby McGuire, Business Mastery and Mindset Queen. This podcast is for you if you're a service-based business owner, a solopreneur. You're effectively the CEO of your business. I'm here to help you feel and behave like one. In this podcast show, we'll explore the many facets of being the leader, aka Queen of your business. We'll talk about creating a success mindset and taking your business to the next level. I'll be talking all things business mastery, mindset and manifesting through the Law of Attraction. I do like a bit of woo! Tune in (mostly weekly) as I'll be sharing lots of business strategies to help you. Make sure you head on over to www.rubymcguire.com to find out how we can work together. Book in a call and let's share a virtual cappuccino together! XXX If you read my blog post a little while ago, you’ll know I was struggling for a while with direction in my business, and I guess life in general since my ‘little’ princess left home to go to university. I recently shared this on my blog, but haven't shared it on my podcast, and now it's time.. https://www.rubymcguire.com/what-to-do-when-you-start-to-hate-social-media/ I spent a lot of time working on what I wanted, and I have done a lot of soul searching this year. For the first part of the year, I created a 1:1 90-day programme where I took my clients through a specific process of building/growing their business and working on mindset blocks. Everyone loved it. It was really great fun, but where I was working with 14 clients a week, it started to take its toll, especially where some of those calls were 90-minutes and more. I found I had little time left in the week, which kind of wasn’t what I wanted to create, albeit fun. Be careful what you wish for! So back to the drawing board, over and over again! Have you ever been like that in biz? I seem to reinvent things every few years. Someone told me once that I’m like Madonna, I just like to reinvent myself. So what’s next? I realised that the key things I love are training, coaching and mentoring, so they weren’t going anywhere. I also realised that I love working with groups. I love the energy, the connection, the banter and the results people get when they work together. I’ve been batting off new potential projects left, right and centre, where I want to really keep my business model super simple. I’ve closed my Rock Your Visibility group programme and cleared the decks for these 2 things: Queen of Business Mastermind Groups (Unique groups of 8 women who want to become Queens of their businesses) Manifesting Magic Club (The Law of Attraction programme I run with my very good friend, Geraldine Kelly) I’ve created many training programmes over the years, and rather than retire them because I believe they do still have value, I’ve decided to offer them all on my Resources page so that people can pick and you can choose what you need for your business. A lot of the programmes are great if you're fairly new to business and/or are working to a budget. Having moved to Scotland, I’d wondered whether I would run some local workshops in the area. I’ve made the decision not to do that either. I realised I want to ‘live’ up here, not ‘work’ up here, and just enjoy my time in the community instead. I may do some freelance training and speaking but not working 1:1. Lots of change, but it feels really good for right now. I can’t say I won’t change my mind again in the future. Hey, I’m a woman, I get to change my mind whenever I like ;) I think it’s a good thing that we evolve as business owners, don’t you? If you’ve known me for a while, then you’ll know I love to KISS - Keep It Simple Sweetie, and I realised I wasn’t doing that. With this new way of working, I will be. Going forward I’m going to be talking about you being a Queen of your Business, so while visibility is obviously important, it’s going to be one of the pillars that I work with, rather than the main thing. My focus is going to be about business mastery, leadership, mindset and manifesting with the Law of Attraction. You're essentially the CEO aka Queen of your business. I'm going to hep you feel and behave like one. I'll be sharing how to uplevel - your mindset and your business. You need to create a success mindset if you want to succeed, and you need the leadership qualities of a Queen and you to step up as a Queen to be seen. If my message no longer resonates with you, then I completely understand if you want to unsubscribe from my show, and I wish you every success with your business going forward. I do hope you'll hang around though I’ve been asked if I’ll still work with guys, and the answer is ‘yes’. It will just be with short, sharp 1:1 laser coaching sessions though, as my client base is 95% female, hence creating the Queen of Business groups. My focus is going to be mainly group work, with the odd 1:1 session on top of that, rather than how I have been running things. I’m still figuring it all out, but over the coming months, I’ll be shifting how I talk about things with a focus on being a Queen of your business, creating a success mindset and using Law of Attraction in your business and life. I'm looking forward to this exciting new part of my business journey, and sharing some different content with you. Visibility will still play its part, as I believe that's vital for us as business owners. Here's to a fun new chapter of Rock Your Fabulous Biz! I hope you'll be joining me. Lisa Mills hails from Mississippi, and there must be something down there in the water, as she’s put together one of the finest, most honest records of last year. I’m Changing, is a mix of blues, rock, soul, Gospel and even a sprinkle of country. Add to it Lisa’s gritty vocals, and you’ve got the makings of a killer record. Yet, this isn’t a totally new project, as many of the tracks were started back in 2005. Mills talks about the long, strange journey that led to this new album.
Live, Uncut & Uncensored Conversations With "Musicians You Should Know" Chris Duarte grew up in Texas and bagan playing his brother's guitar and bought his first guitar at age 14. 37 years, 14 albums (including one 'best of', 2 instructional DVDs and thousands of performances later, he is still going strong. Chris and I will talk about his life and careet and check out songs from his latest Lucky 13. Lisa Mills was born in Mississippi and now lives in Alabama. She has been sharing her vocals, for many years, appearing on a Big Town Playboy's album. Her 2010 released, Tempered in Fire, and the world truly found her. Her new album, I'm Changing, is not really a new album, but a reworking of an album she released in 2005. What made her do this? What are her goals? We'll find out when I speak with Lisa. Michael Oneill is a singer/songwriter, producer, readio host and road warrior and he will join me to talk about all that and more. His new album is entitled I Like It Like That is a "deeply personal diary of ONeill's inner journey and his introspective take on the challenges of life, love and loss". From his first tour at age of 24, when he opened for then unknown U2. His list of touring partners and songwriting partners will impress you greatly. The Colorado Blues Society needed to raise funds for their Blues In The Schools Program, so they cut an album! Entitled Jam For Blues In The Schools, it was recorded one Saturday afternoon. Behind the direction of Couch Kids, Dan Treanor and Erica Brown, the album was recorded live, one take without any overdubs and turned out awful special. I will chat with Dan, Erica, and Scott Fitzke about this project and let you know how you can support this great cause.
Lisa returns to the Raven and Blues and plays I Don't Wanna Be Happy, Sunshine and Better Than This - all from her forthcoming album "I'm Changing" and is then joined for People Get Ready by Jo Harman and Brett Lucas.
