In today's episode, we interview Chris Baribeau, Senior Director of Customer Success at HubSpot. He believes that Revenue Operations (RevOps) can shape the success of professional service organizations. RevOps plays a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights to frontline teams, allowing them to make informed revenue-driving decisions. Chris stresses the value of continuous employee training on both software and processes to maximize adoption and efficiency. This is essential for ensuring that the changes brought about by organizational growth - such as updates to the CRM or technology stack - are managed effectively. Chris points out the common challenge of most professional service firms in accessing and organizing their project and client data to support business development efforts. Implementing a new CRM or optimizing the existing one can help increase visibility across teams, but establishing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics should happen before making those changes. Rachel Joy Baribeau is an award-winning storyteller, inspirational speaker, author, and the founder of Changing the Narrative. She is also a transformative coach, host of the Joystarters Podcast, and the first female SiriusXM ESPNU host on College Sports Nation. In 2016, Rachel wrote a piece for GridironNow, expressing her concern about the negative news stories dominating college football. Instead of just voicing her concerns, she took action and developed #ImChangingtheNarrative, a program designed to help student-athletes make better decisions and change their life narratives. Rachel's message, which began as a call to purpose, passion, and platform, has evolved over four-plus years and 40 campuses to encompass mental health, daily personal excellence, and interpersonal relationships. This evolution was influenced by her personal experience as a victim of domestic violence. When she's not speaking or on tour promoting her book, “Relentless Joy: Finding Freedom, Passion and Happiness (Even When You Have to Fight for It)”, Rachel works to help others find their own passion, purpose, platform, and freedom. Her ultimate goal is to empower others to change their narratives and live a life of relentless joy.

I've been struggling with it.' It's okay to seek help and support. “Self-care is not selfish. It's important to prioritize your own well-being and emotional health.” “Express your love and appreciation in a way that resonates with your partner's love language. Small gestures can make a big impact.” “Don't be afraid to pursue your dreams, even if it means stepping outside your comfort zone. Embrace the unknown and take risks.” “Be a joy starter, who notices joy, spreads joy, and is joy.” “Even in our most crushing circumstances, there's joy that is just begging to be noticed.” “Live the kind of life that when you lay your head on the pillow at night, you've said what you need to say, you fixed what you need to fix, and you have lived your life in a way that you are proud of.” “Marriage is humbling, and also, if you're always thinking about how you can help your partner, how you can make their day better, and how you can serve them, then both of you will be filled up.” “A great leader is someone who is always looking to develop the skills of those they lead. They lead from behind, they admit their mistakes, and they inspire others to chase their dreams.” “The best advice I ever received is to forgive. Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence has powered a breakneck rally in US equities this year, far overshadowing the US Federal Reserve's campaign to raise interest rates. So how should investors sort out the fundamentals from the hype?Mark Baribeau, the head of global equity at PGIM's Jennison Associates, joined the What Goes Up podcast to discuss how he's viewing the opportunity. He's the lead manager of the PGIM Jennison Global Opportunities Fund, which is beating 99% of its peers with a more-than 30% gain so far in 2023. “The infrastructure layer that allows for this accelerated computing to go on is the way to play AI right now. Because we're in the R&D phase, the applications are just getting developed,” Baribeau says. “Nvidia is an easy example. We kind of refer to their earnings release on May 24 as the ‘Big Bang' because, in my history of doing growth equities since the ‘90s, I've never seen a company raise guidance for a quarter by $4 billion. That's unprecedented.”See omny.fm/listener for privacy information.

An epic MadLit Musings today, folks! With Rachel Joy Baribeau, Author of Finding Freedom, Passion, and Happiness (Even When You Have to Fight for It) chats with Christy Award Winning author and host, Jaime Jo Wright about joy and perspective. Rachel developed #ImChangingtheNarrative with student-athletes in mind and a belief that one crooked course made straight is everything. One misstep not taken means one less victim in the world. And one less life thrown away because of a split-second bad decision. At Rachel's first visit sometimes they're skeptical when the petite Latina woman is introduced, but in just 60 minutes she wins them over. She now speaks to athletes, law enforcement, churches, and corporations about taking back the headlines for good – showing them that they have the power to change the narrative and to find their purpose in life outside of their sport and everyday lives. To live lives of… Just like her inspiration, Alabama and NFL star Kevin Turner did before he succumbed to ALS and CTE. When she's finished, they wait in line to speak to her. They tweet, private message, and text her. They trust her and report back on their efforts to become the kings and queens she consistently challenges them. While the message originated as purpose, passion, platform, over four-plus years and 40 campuses, it now encompasses, heavily, mental health, being a KING/QUEEN every day of your life, and interpersonal relationships, as Rachel was a victim of domestic violence herself. When she's not scaling the world's tallest freestanding mountain to raise money for ALS or speaking from a stage or computer near you, she enjoys working one-on-one to help others find their own personal #ImChangingtheNarrative, and reclaim their God-given JOY! Purpose, Passion and Platform.

This is a common concern for new people learning about the healing power of shamanism.Sandra Ingerman and Renee Baribeau join together to talk about this issue. Together they will help you to find your way as you step into the work. This is such a common issue. Renee and Sandra will give you some encouragement of how to communicate the spiritual practices you are engaged in or keep it private.Follow us at ShamansTV.com

Nature-based traditions and practices have been shown to help people with substance use and co-occurring disorders heal and navigate long-term recovery. Evidence-based nature practices are derived from the applied practice of the emergent field of ecopsychology, developed by Theodore Roszak. Nature-based therapeutic practices stem, in part, from the belief that people are part of the web of life and that we are not isolated or separate from our environment. Ecopsychology is informed by systems theory, and provides individuals with an opportunity to explore their relationship with nature—an area that can be overlooked in many other types of treatment or therapy. While some professionals teach and practice ecopsychology exclusively, other practitioners incorporate aspects of nature-based traditions into their existing practices. The Four Cardinal Winds are persistent structures used for organizing human experience, as evidenced in early cave art and worldwide mythology. Baribeau will demonstrate a brief guided journey experience, which will allow participants to pinpoint their bearings and quantify their experience using a tool called the Awakening Compass, developed with symbols from seven ancient wisdom traditions. Attendees will explore transformational tools based in ancient wisdom teachings, designed to nourish mind, body, heart, while acknowledging the spirit's unlimited capacity to heal. Rachel Baribeau has proven herself versatile not only as a sports reporter but as a catalyst for social change. She recognized that becoming the first female reporter to participate in a professional football training camp gave her unique insights into how women are regarded in the sports industry today. Then she gifted those insights back into the industry through her #ChangingtheNarrative movement, a carefully constructed initiative that teaches young male and females athletes how to use their platforms to improve how young women are treated both at universities and within society as a whole. The movement is opening countless doors for women across the country, thereby improving the national discourse in sports by adding valuable voices, and Baribeau is just getting started. In the first episode of season two, the guys explore the self-titled debut from folk punk icon, Paul Baribeau. Released in 2004, it was a marquee release for Plan-It-X-Records and a crucial album for the midwest folk punk scene of the 00's. Emotionally raw, decidedly sad, and in many respects, a shockingly honest record.

From the Director, Phillip Baribeau - About the FilmI met Eduardo and Jen five years ago when I worked with them on a trailer for their TV show called Active Ingredient. I could see right away that Eduardo had a huge passion for life, cooking and the outdoors. I shared his belief in living a healthy lifestyle and knew I had made a lifelong friend with whom I could explore Montana’s wilderness. The show was just about to sell when we got the bad news of Eduardo’s injury. During his time in the hospital, Jen took it upon herself to film his recovery with the idea to someday make a documentary. When Eduardo made it back to Montana, I started to follow him with my camera as he went through chemotherapy and began his journey to get back into his life through fly-fishing, hiking, hunting and cooking. It was incredible to see him tackle all of his obstacles while keeping a positive attitude. Eduardo is reaching the stage in his life where he wants to give back, say thanks and use his tragedy to help others. I want to be there to film this journey and to see the effect he will have on everyone around him. His story is something worth sharing and will make a difference in people’s lives no matter what kind of struggles they are having. ***********Phillip earned a degree in Media and Theatre Arts from Montana State University. Following his passion for film, storytelling and adventure, he went to work in television and documentary filmmaking. His most credited broadcast series are Destination Extreme on National Geographic (field producer / DP /editor), AX Men on the History Channel (DP) and Mountain Men on the History Channel (camera operator). Rachel Baribeau of SiriusXM's College Sports Nation and GridironNow joins host Paula Jenkins to talk about her joyful and enthusiastic love of college football, her years as a sportscaster, and how she is working at Changing the Narrative across the nation.
As the south’s sweetheart of sports, Rachel Baribeau has been dubbed an “SEC-ologist” as she has covered the SEC, and college football, for over ten years. In fall of 2015, she was bestowed a Heisman vote by the Heisman Trust. These days can be heard on SiriusXM's ESPNU Radio. She was the first female host on that platform. She can also be heard on MadDog Sports Radio, in the SiriusXM family of Networks. Her heartfelt, and captivating, storytelling is also featured on www.GridironNow.com Outside of her broadcast work, Baribeau may put down the microphone but chooses to pick up a megaphone and rally others for the causes in her community. In April of 2014, she organized a climb up Kilimanjaro for former NFL, and Alabama, fullback Kevin Turner, who suffers from ALS. The climb was later turned into a movie narrated by Mike Ditka. For more information on how to get involved in finding a cure for ALS, or to see the movie, visitwww.KevinTurnerFoundation.org! Rachel is also an avid speaker at many colleges and churches, sharing her story on “Changing the Narrative.” On this episode of the podcast, we talk to Rachel about her faith in Jesus, her passion for college football, why "changing the narrative" is so near and dear to her heart, and why mentoring young female broadcasters has become a passion of hers. UNBRANDED reveals the true interdependence of man, animal and nature -- their 3000-mile gauntlet through five states that is indescribable and unforgiving. Sixteen mustangs, four men, one dream: to ride border to border, Mexico to Canada, up the spine of the American West. The documentary, UNBRANDED, tracks four fresh-out-of-college buddies as they take on wild mustangs to be their trusted mounts, and set out on the adventure of a lifetime. Their wildness of spirit, in both man and horse, is quickly dwarfed by the wilderness they must navigate: a 3000-mile gauntlet through five states that is equally indescribable and unforgiving. This story of rugged independence reveals the true interdependence of man, animal and nature. As we see first-hand, Ben Masters, Jonny Fitzsimons, Thomas Glover and Ben Thamer, relied upon the incredible strength and energy of mustangs - these wild horses - who had been chosen and trained for this purpose. The group set out to inspire adoptions of the 50,000 wild horses living in holding pens in the American West and to bring attention to the fragile ecosystem and this last uninterrupted vertical stretch of public land in the West. Along the way, the support they receive from others, including a veteran horseman and cowboy poet whose life has been deeply connected to horses and the backcountry, creates a meaningful bond among the men and the animals. Director and co-cinematographer Phillip Baribeau stops by to talk about his visually stunning, emotionally charged plea for the lives of thousands of wild mustangs currently held in stifling captivity.
