Send us a textThe Baltimore Ravens and Cincinatti Bengals put on a game for the ages. It is being said this game for sure will be a GOTY (game of the year) candidate. Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow account for 962 total yards and 9 touchdowns. Jamaar Chase nearly repeated his performance against the Ravens two years ago with 193 yards and 2 touchdowns. But, not so fast because Lamar's favorite receiver, Isaiah Likely, also was able to get in the endzone twice. There can be much said about the defenses in this game, but both did not come to play.In my opinion, Lamar Jackson is having another MVP caliber season as he is the glue to this Baltimore Ravens team. Without his quick and efficient decision-making I do not see the Ravens riding this 3 game win-streak. This game most definitely has proven his elite status. On the other hand, how does this affect the pass defense? Can they get things together? Can the Bengals dig themselves out a 1-4 start? Is Joe Burrow still elite? All this and more in another exciting episode of the Purple Pride Power Hour.FB: The Purple Pride Power Hour PodcastX: Deejay_bmoreJoin me on Instagram @purplepridepowerhour

Former Cincinnati Bengal and sports commenter Solomon Wilcots joins us today on In the Trenches with Dave Lapham to discuss his time at the NFL combine and who impressed him the most when it comes to who the Bengals should target with their first-round pick. Lap and Solomon discuss what a lot of Bengal fans are debating right now, should the Bengals take or trade up for TE prospect Brock Bowers or take their future right tackle with their first-round selection? It's a win-win for the Bengals at pick #18 because anyway they decide to go they will be getting an immediate impact player. With the 2024 tackle class being one of the best in recent memory one or maybe two of those tackles will be there and would immediately start at right tackle. On the other hand, the Bengals haven't had a solid long-term tight end since they drafted Tyler Eifert in 2013. Brock Bowers is viewed by many to be a generational-type prospect and the idea of him, Jamaar Chase, Tee Higgins, and Joe Burrow all together is very exciting to think about. The Bengals did sign free agent Mike Gesicki, to a one-year deal but the Bengals need to address the position in the draft as they haven't drafted a tight end since Drew Sample in 2019. Let us know in the comments below who you would draft in the first round! Brock Bowers or right tackle? We want to thank Solomon Wilcots for being a fantastic guest and for joining us today on In the Trenches with Dave Lapham brought to you by First Star Logistics. In todays episode, I will briefly preview the upcoming Super Bowl LVI matchup between the Los Angelos Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. Matthew Stafford nearly decade and a half odyssey has finally landed him in the biggest game of his career. The star studded Rams have all the intangibles to be crowned world champs. However, “the new kids on the block” in Joe Burrow, JaMaar Chase, and Joe Mixon may pull off the ultimate upset. Who will take the Lombardi back to their respective cities? Can the Rams become the second consecutive team to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium? Will the Bengals 33 year drought culminate in their first Super Bowl championship?
Welcome back everyone! In this episode we talk about the NFL playoffs, Tom Brady and Cooper Kupp being the greatest white men to ever live, Aaron Rodgers deplorable performance and more! Enjoy!
In todays episode, I will briefly give my opinion on the upcoming Superbowl 56 match-up between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angelos Rams. It seems like we are in a dreamworld. I would have never thought I would see the day that the Bengals would be in a Superbowl, let alone so soon. With the biggest game looming, Brian Flores lawsuit seems to deflect the attention from football's biggest game to his claim of being racially discriminated against for recent and past interviews for head coaching jobs. Does the NFL have an issue? Why does the NFL not have nor ever had a black NFL owner?
We open today's show with an honest examination of college players opting out of Bowl Games -- and why if you have a problem with the players, you need to re-focus your life. Then, Brian discusses Antonio Brown's exit from the Bucs and why he may have finally run out of chances in the NFL. Plus, Joe Burrow and Jamaar Chase put on a show against the KC Chiefs and clinch the AFC North. Then, we break down the current playoff picture.
Bye-mageddon came for Week 7 and nobody could've predicted what was going to happen next.In a week that was down six teams, including some of the more exciting teams, it meant that we got to really dive deep into some of the 'other than' teams including the capitulating Chiefs, the downfall of Darnold, the rise of the Bengals and backup quarterback play aplenty! There's also a game in particular that absolutely breaks Brad into having a full on meltdown on behalf of a non-Giants team. Swearing a plenty, so you've been warned.Note: we'll be on break from regular content next week as the team are attending Brad's wedding. Instead we'll have three 15 minute monologues on certain topics.
In todays episode, I will preview the upcoming AFC North matchup between the Bengals and the Ravens. The passing offense of the Ravens have been looking sensational this season and have silenced a lot of Lamar Jackson critics. However, Joe Burrow and Jamaar Chase have been one of the leagues best qb-wr duos. How will the Ravens defense fair against them, as they have quite notably been struggling on the season.
