Thanksgiving weekend delivered one of the busiest stretches of the entire year, and Nick and Myron break it all down — from Monroe to Royston to Savannah to Buckhead and Hartwell — with a ton of stories, surprises, and momentum shifts across the state.Plus, with the January format refresh right around the corner, the guys tease big changes coming to the show structure starting January 7th.
What happens when filmmaking becomes a marathon of collaboration — spanning years, thousands of shots, and the world of Oz itself? For Wicked: For Good, that was the daily reality for Film Editor Myron Kerstein and Visual Effects Supervisor Pablo Helman. This week on Below the Line, Skid welcomes back Myron Kerstein and introduces Pablo Helman, who makes his Below the Line debut to discuss their shared journey on Wicked: For Good, the sequel to Jon M. Chu's Wicked. Together, they reflect on what it means to sustain creative momentum through two interconnected films and the largest project of their careers. This episode unpacks: Building a years-long partnership between editorial and visual effects — and learning to “finish each other's sentences” after thousands of hours together Integrating production, post, and VFX pipelines from the earliest days of Wicked through the sequel's final render Designing the epic opening battle on the Yellow Brick Road, where performance, camera, and creature animation all converge Navigating Jon M. Chu's collaborative process — a director who, as Myron puts it, is “a collector of people” and thrives on creative dialogue Crafting the technically complex “Girl in the Bubble” sequence — eight stitched plates, multiple reflections, and a seamless illusion that tested every department's trust Refining the “No Good Deed” sequence — balancing raw emotion, musical rhythm, and visual effects spectacle Intercutting Glinda's wedding with the imprisoned creatures to heighten tension and emotional contrast across parallel storylines How small creative choices — like a cape's weight, a confetti storm, or a single flash of red sky — became storytelling tools in the hands of two artists who speak the same cinematic language What emerges is a portrait of collaboration under pressure — one built on mutual respect, relentless curiosity, and a shared belief that every frame, no matter how fantastical, should feel grounded and human.

In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I share one of my favorite presentations I ever gave at Myron Golden's event. The entire event was about offers, so Myron asked me to walk through my personal journey with them. But not just the mechanics of an offer and all the typical stuff… He wanted me to share the real stories… The terrifying moments… And the breakthroughs that happen when you have the courage and determination to put out an offer. In this episode, you'll hear the five times in my life when a single offer literally changed everything for me. This one skill saved my business more times than I can count at this point, and has made all of my success possible. If you have ever doubted yourself, felt stuck financially, or wondered how to create momentum when everything feels impossible, this episode will show you what is actually possible when you learn how to build and launch irresistible offers. Key Highlights: ◼️Why the person who makes the most offers always wins, even if some fail! ◼️The Christmas couch story and the first offer that changed everything ◼️How a high ticket idea created under pressure saved payroll and became a five year revenue machine ◼️What happened when every merchant account disappeared overnight and how a one thousand dollar teleseminar offer kept the company alive ◼️The ClickFunnels launch that failed six times before a room of three hundred people triggered a billion dollar breakthrough ◼️The twenty million dollar library vision no bank believed in and the million dollar seat offer that raised fourteen million dollars in Mexico If there is one theme that has repeated itself in my life over the last twenty plus years, it is this: Whenever I hit a wall, whenever I felt out of ideas, whenever I thought everything was about to collapse, the thing that turned everything around was an offer. I hope this episode gives you the belief and the tools to start putting more offers into the world because you are always one offer away… ◼️If you've got a product, offer, service… or idea… I'll show you how to sell it (the RIGHT way) Register for my next event → https://sellingonline.com/podcast ◼️Still don't have a funnel? Editor, Myron Kerstein ACE WICKED: FOR GOOD editor, Myron Kerstein ACE finds himself in familiar post-production territory after taking a short break to enjoy the success of the first film in this two-part adaption of the musical megahit. This brief respit included Myron receiving an Oscar® nomination and an ACE Eddie win for his efforts. But this time out, Myron faces the challenge of closing out this story with a movie that is darker in tone with a more complex narrative. Adapted from the venerable Broadway smash, WICKED: FOR GOOD follows the journey of a young woman named Elphaba. Misunderstood and often outcast because of her green skin, Elphaba forges an unlikely but profound friendship with Glinda, a fellow student with an unflinching desire for popularity. Following an encounter with the Wizard of Oz, their relationship soon reaches a crossroad as their lives begin to take very different paths. MYRON KERSTEIN, ACE In addition to his musical experience with Jon M. Chu and Lin-Manuel Miranda, Myron also had a diverse pool of film and tv projects, including GARDEN STATE (2004), NICK AND NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST (2008), LITTLE FOCKERS (2010), THE DUKES OF HAZARD (2005), FAME (2009), GIRLS (2015-17) and HOME BEFORE DARK (2020). Today on Hudson Mohawk Magazine, we have special programming in place of our regular programming. In this segment we have an interview with Myron Dewey by producer Anna Steltenkamp as part of the series "Indigenous Voices at the Intersection of Environmental & Social Justice." Myron Dewey is a filmmaker, journalist, digital storyteller, and the founder of Digital Smoke Signals, a media production company that aims to give a platform to Indigenous voices in media. He co-directed the award-winning 2017 film "Awake: A Dream from Standing Rock," which tells the story of the NoDAPL movement and the Native-led peaceful resistance and fight for clean water, the environment, and the future of the planet. Through both Digital Smoke Signals and his own media work, Myron seeks to bridge the digital divide throughout Indian Country and to indigenize media with core Indigenous cultural values.

In this episode, we'll look back on the way we experienced Pittsburgh sports growing up. We will talk about the experience of being a fan, like people smoking in the stands, being able to take almost anything into the stadium, and turning down the TV so we could listen to Myron. We will also talk about the things in sports that simply do not exist anymore, from multipurpose stadiums with Astroturf fields to the way NFL games are broadcast. So join us as we look back on how things have changed for both the better and worse.Get our Steelers-Ravens book here! As part of that celebration, I have brought back the original host to have an unscripted and (mostly) unedited conversation about all things ministry, movies, books, and more. Mike Schutt is now the Executive Director of Worldview Academy, the director of the CLS Law School Fellows Program, and the author of the seminal work for Christian law students, Redeeming Law: Christian Calling and the Legal Profession. Mike is also an affiliate professor at Trinity Law School and a decent human being (I don't care what Myron says). Cross & Gavel is a production of CHRISTIAN LEGAL SOCIETY. The episode was produced by Josh Deng, with music from Vexento.

Tune in LIVE on all Miss Liz platforms or catch the replay on YouTube.On-Air Introduction “Good afternoon, beautiful souls. I'm Miss Liz, and today we're pouring a cup with a storyteller who proves reinvention is an art. My guest, Myron Edwards, began as a BBC comedy writer, crafting laughs for beloved radio and TV programs, then followed life's tide to Cyprus, where myth and memory called him to fiction. His trilogy—Mistress of the Rock, Scylla – The Revenge, and Julie's Odyssey: Alpha & Omega—blends contemporary life with ancient legend. Today, we'll talk craft, courage, and the moment when laughter meets legend. Welcome, Myron.”Closing Summary “Today, Myron reminded us that creativity has many seasons—sometimes comedy, sometimes myth, always truth. From the BBC to Cyprus's sacred shores, he showed us how a writer can honour the past while finding a new voice for the present. Thank you, Myron, for the wisdom and the wonder. Welcome to today's podcast. Our guest is a master of the well-timed….pause, the raised eyebrow, and the story that sneaks up on you with a punchline you didn't see coming. He's a man who could tell a joke so good you'd swear you'd heard it in your own family, but somehow, it's funnier when he tells it. From the Catskills to the “Ed Sullivan Show,” he entertained America with wit, warmth and a knack for finding humor in everyday life. He's the legendary storyteller and comedian, Myron Cohen.
On the finale of the season, Jenn and Myron talk about some things they hate - including how loud garbage bins are, Myron shocking his daughter by carrying the trash bins, and how jobs were lost when garbage collecting went automated. My friend Dr. Myron Penner - everyone's favorite Canadian Mennonite philosopher of science & religion - offers up five compelling ways that science can actually enrich rather than threaten faith. We move beyond the tired old "conflict thesis" between science & religion to explore how scientific discoveries can help identify factually suspect theology (looking at you, young earth creationism), create new theological spaces for thinking about evolution and our place in an unfinished cosmos, serve as a resource for people deconstructing harmful religious inheritances, keep us informed about the times we're living in (hello, AI revolution), & inspire genuine awe at the beauty of collaborative human inquiry into the mysteries of existence. Along the way, we take some playful shots at Al Mohler's dismissal of gravitational wave detection, discuss why Protestant worship could learn from cognitive science about how humans actually work, & explore how understanding the psychological mechanisms behind religious experience doesn't undermine faith but can actually deepen it. It's a conversation that assumes we're past the simplistic "yay or nay to God" debates and ready for the more nuanced work of thinking through what it means to be people of faith in a scientifically informed world. Dr. Myron Penner is a professor of philosophy at Trinity Western University and director of the Anabaptist-Mennonite Centre for Faith and Learning. On top of being a stellar scholar, he is a dear friend and the coolest Mennonite Canadian philosopher on planet earth.
