Tom Fornelli does an excellent job covering the B1G and college football in general---in his weekly write-up, he posts that under Sherrone Moore, Michigan has failed to get over 300 yards of offense in 10 of his 15 games coached….while under Jim Harbaugh, it happened just 4 times in 45 games…..HELLO Also, in a (kind of) joking way, Fornelli wonders if Penn State let the wrong QB go, seeing Beau Pribula put up big numbers at Missouri compared to a pedestrian start for Drew Allar…is there any part of that theory you might buy? We dive deep into the SEC's upper crust with our first of two comprehensive preview episodes, breaking down eight of the conference's most talented and high-expectation teams. From Texas's national championship aspirations and the beginning of the Arch Manning era to Alabama's loaded roster under Kalen DeBoer and a revamped offense for Georgia under Kirby Smart, we explore the teams most likely to compete for SEC titles and playoff spots. In this college football podcast episode, we analyze Texas as the preseason No. 1 team and whether Arch Manning can navigate one of the toughest road schedules in the country, including trips to Ohio State, Florida, and Georgia. We examine Alabama's quarterback battle between Ty Simpson, Austin Mack, and Keelon Russell, plus the reunion of Kalen DeBoer with longtime coordinator Ryan Grubb. We discuss Georgia's search for offensive star power with Gunner Stockton at the helm and their favorable SEC schedule. We also break down Ole Miss's "nothing to lose" mentality with Austin Simmons taking over for Jaxson Dart, LSU's all-in approach with Garrett Nussmeier and their loaded but unproven receiver room, and Dan's Big Ten-to-SEC quarterback theory with Beau Pribula at Missouri. Plus, we examine Kentucky's massive roster overhaul under Mark Stoops with 40+ new players and Mississippi State's uphill climb in Jeff Lebby's second season after going 0-8 in SEC play. This is your guide to the SEC's championship contenders and the key questions that will determine their 2025 fates, with eight more teams coming in our next episode! PowerMizzou's Gabe DeArmond joins Southeastern 16's Chris Lee to preview Missouri football for the 2025 college football season. Topics include: Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula has been an efficient runner and thrower in limited experience. What does he bring--and could he be beaten out by Los Angeles Dodgers' pitching signee Sam Horn? Louisiana-Monroe transfer Ahmad Hardy had 1,423 yards from scrimmage as a true freshman and could challenge for the league's rushing title. The Tigers don't have tremendous experience at wide receiver, but Mississippi State transfer Kevin Coleman and Illinois State transfer Xavier Loyd both registered over 900 receiving yards last season. Missouri returns two of the league's better offensive linemen in Cayden Green and Connor Tollison, and adds Wake Forest transfer Keegan Trost at right tackle. The Tigers' defense is stout, thanks to transfers Damon Wilson III (Georgia), Josiah Trotter (West Virginia), Nate Johnson (Appalachian State), Jaylen Catalon (UNLV/Arkansas), Mose Phillips (Virginia Tech) and Stephen Hall (Washington State). Missouri returns a number of good defenders in Chris McClellan, Zion Young, Dylan Carnell, Dreyden Norwood, Toriano Pride and Marvin Burks, too. The Tigers' schedule is “easy” by SEC standards (no Texas, Georgia, LSU or Florida) but not easy on the whole (nine teams with a legitimate shot at bowl eligibility). Is the country sleeping on Missouri before the season starts?

Which other players are they excited to see. Eli, Calum and Jarod dig in with their answers. Subscribe to the Post-Dispatch.
